A lovely meal with great staff. We are visiting friends, 2 1/2 hours away and this had been a really lovely evening. One suggestion would be to add a sauce to your pork cutlet. Thank you to our staff and chef.

Have eaten a few times and always had a good meal. Meals are large in size. Service is good and meals never take long.
Poor language in the outdoor dining area unfortunately which is a turn off.

Went for lunch as had voucher.
Ordered the half serving of ribs with slaw and fries.
Pulled meat off a rib and could smell it before I put it in my mouth.
Thought it was the sauce...the taste was like lighter fuel..because that's what it smelt like.
Threw the meat back on the plate.
Most disgusting smell and taste ever.

Visited for lunch on the weekend. The pub itself boasts a great atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a definite plus. However, I was a bit disappointed with the meal itself. My food arrived lukewarm at best, which was a letdown, especially since the flavors seemed promising. Despite this, I'd consider giving them another try in the future to see if things improve, as the setting and the service were quite impressive.

Had a meal on Friday night 3 May 2024. The food was great although it would have been nice to get all at meals at the same time (there were 4 of us). It may have had to do because of a large table of possibly 8-12 people and busy as well.
The staff were all great.

Very friendly staff. great meal sizes. Love that they now have activities for kids on Sundays (balloon making, face painting).

Very disappointed tonight we ordered for our family and no one ate anything. My daughters spaghetti bol tasted like tinned spaghetti, my son cheese burger had no flavour very pain chips were soggy and not salted. I ordered the mash and rissoles (I have ordered these a months ago they were great) bit unfortunately these ones were soo dry and the gravy was water. Every meal was bad we couldn't believe. The dogs liked it though.

Service was excellent as was the location and facilities. Small request was accommodated by the reservations person without any issue or concern which was great. Atmosphere good and location also good. Very busy but meals delivered in a good time. They were nice but nothing I've rave about but pricing was higher than what I expect for that meal. Steak wasn't really good to the level as requested. It was a very nice experience otherwise.

We had our daughter's 18th birthday celebration at Morayfield Tavern and we were incredibly impressed by the food and service that were both exceptional! Everyone commented on how wonderful everything was. Thanks for such a great evening for our daughter's special celebration..it couldn't have been better and your team just went above and beyond the entire evening. We will definitely be back!

Christmas lunch today was outstanding. There was a wide selection of hot and cold food. Something to please even the fussiest eater. The desserts were scrumptious with pastries and fruit platters, cheeses. We will certainly be back next year.

Facilities seemed great and we were excited to try this place out but our family and the group before us waiting to be seated were spoken to very rudely by one of the staff members (blonde hair). We also asked if the kids room could be opened and when it was opened, it was disgusting. Food and dirt all over the floor. I wouldn't mind if this was later on in the day assuming that kids from earlier made the mess but this was from the day/s before and no one had come to clean it while we were in there either. We ended up leaving because it was my sons birthday and didn't want the staff member to dampen our mood.

Food was exceptional, staff were amazing, venue was relaxed and welcoming. The music from the bingo was awesome! Will definitely be back often! Chris and his team are phenomenal, well done to you all!

Food is great, staff are welcoming & always helpful. I mainly go to Music Bingo Wed nights & it's always pumping & a fun time! The kiddies like getting involved too. The music is always good, always a good atmosphere. We were sad to see Tobias leave but the new host is just as great! Keep up the good work.

Had an awesome dinner here, food was amazing and every dish was beautiful. Adele was a great server and we had a great time with her. Our third time dining here and definitely not our last!

We've never had a bad experience here, the staff are amazing and friendly. We had dinner on a very busy Saturday night and our meals still came quickly, and to perfection. The steak was cooked perfectly, best steak we've had in a long time. Plus the gluten free options are great!

My wife and I went to Morayfield Tavern recently after a long day in the area and were pleasantly surprised! The staff managed to squeeze our order in right before the cut-off time and delivered beautifully with two amazing meals.
The ambience was lovely, quite and relaxing and this was at 7pm! Defiantly somewhere, I'd feel safe bringing my children for a nice sit-down meal.

Was waiting to be seated as per what the sign states. Staff walked passed us and ignored us, so I had to grab a menu and seat myself. Food is overpriced for what it is, taste all frozen. Garlic bread is nice tho. All toppers we ordered to go with our meals, we're served on the side. Food is excessively oily and greasy. Paid $7 for a tiny bowel of bacon, that wouldn't have been a single rash of bacon.

Went with friends for a birthday dinner. Ordered two parmigiana and two calamari caesar salads. Parmigiana that I had was partially raw, the crumb was soft and soggy, the salad was old and wilted, the chips were under done, the whole dish has clearly been under heat lamps for some time and was under temperature. The other parmigiana was cooked, but also had a soft and soggy crumb, same old salad, under done chips and under temperature overall. The calamari had similar issues, with one serve cooked, but the other raw. The salads were even worse, which seemed improbable. The croutons were so large and stale that they weren't actually able to be penetrated with a fork, cut with a knife, or bitten by human jaws. There was a chipped tooth in the attempt. My meal was replaced with a steak, which wasn't bad, but the accompanying chips and salad had the same issues. The waitstaff were a saving grace. They were lovely, attentive, and keen to solve our issues for us, but were let down by back of house. I can't imagine what would convince me to return for a meal. These meals are standard pub fare and should be simple to deliver with high quality and in a timely manner.

Meals are expensive and chef struggles cooking Well done and medium well done with both steaks red raw in the middle. The well done steak was in the verge of having blood running out.
You get chips and salad and the salad consisted of cabbage, onion and mixed lettuce leaves (iceberg lettuce and tomato) would have at least been a better salad choice. Chips weren't overly hot clearly sitting a bit before put on our plate

We went to Morayfield Tavern for dinner. I ordered spaghetti and Cabanara I paid $25 for my meal very small meal looked like a kids meal. The meal was nice though.wasn't happy with size.😡😡😡 My friend ordered bangers and Mash the sausages were raw in the middle.They did give him his money back.
Table next to us ordered chips with sauce and they put chocolate sauce on his chips.
We were told the food was good here obviously not.
We wont be coming back.

Located off the main road is the tavern. It has a nice beer garden and the space looked relatively clean and spacious. Has a tab and
Police area but I didn't check out these areas so I will just talk about the bistro space and food off my experience.

What we ordered:
Gourmet pie with mash, peas and Gravy
Chicken snitzle with chips and garden salad

The gourmet pie was homemade and the taste was delicious. Only downfall was my pie only had one piece of beef in it, which was just an unlucky scoop. My mash was silky smooth and the gravy was delicious. My hubby chicken was good too with very generous serving and worth the price we paid.

We booked 2 tables and had about 15 people at our table and I was pretty impressed that they didn't get one thing wrong from anyone's order and everyone enjoyed their meal. This isn't always the case when you go out, what's the odds? In our case it was ??'? success rate. Very good work from the chefs and kitchen hands, wait staff did great too serving the food by advising what was what.

The food arrived quickly which is great and it's exactly what a customer should expect from a tavern ??'?🏻

Worst dining experience I have had in Australia. Took my wife here for her birthday, we heard the steaks were good.
4 of us were there but only one could eat it. Have to use app for service, so can't talk to anyone. Never again, and if anyone asks for my opinion, it will be very negative.

First time visiting, young man on the door was very polite and helpful, we ordered Steak and a Schnitzel. There was a bit of a wait however there was some big parties in so it was to be expected. The meals were delicious! Good portions, and the servers were all fantastic ??'?. Would definitely recommend and go again!

We had a party of 35 and there were other large parties at the same time, so I can only imagine how hectic it would have been for the kitchen. The meals were fantastic and they all came out pretty much at the same time and they were awesome.
Taylah served our table and she was truly amazing and was always smiling, and again I can only imagine how busy she was.

Thoroughly disappointed. Went out for dinner for a birthday and out of the 3 meals that were ordered for our table only 1 was decent. My meal was absolutely shocking, had the carnivore plate, could not even eat it, the plate was sent back full. The sauce tasted like it was made from powder and not mixed properly, all the meat was either severely over cooked and dry or was boiled so much it had no taste and the slaw was old and brown. The only thing half decent was the chips. The service was good and the lady that cleared our table was great even after we gave her the honest truth about our food. I'd definitely be reviewing the menu or making sure the chef is actually capable of making all the meals on the menu.

Have been here quite a few times, prices seem to have gone up which is understandable, probably the lettuce we thought . 🤣 we both ordered rump steak chips and salad, husband said his was underwhelming, cooked well done, mine was medium rare, but once I got to the centre of my tough steak, it was blue. Salad consisted of mixed lettuce 🥬, with 2 tiny pieces of cucumber ???', and 2 halves of cherry tomatoes 🍅, and dressing, nothing else 😳. The salad could fit in the palm of my hand. Also the sauce was less than we would normally get. Have definitely had better meals here, but there are places the meals are definitely better.

Staff were efficient and friendly.
Had dinner here. Asked for main size Salt & Pepper Calamari. Disappointed that there was nothing but calamari, thought perhaps a small salad for a main?

We were seated out side on Saturday night. Which would have been fine except why would a place have big gas heaters and NO GAS. So we were quite cold.
Table service not the best, staff tried taking plates while people were still eating off them.
Staff changed tables and chairs around by dragging them across the floor. Two staff doing this, could have picked tables up and moved them. Food was also average. Don't think we will ge back for awhile.

Gr8 place to have a meal. Large variety and very well priced. Good service and friendly staff.

Very good, friendly helpful service from all staff we encountered when dining here. Taylah was especially attentive and efficient (and very patient in helping us order after we were baffled by the online ordering). She made our evening extra enjoyable with her cheerful and helpful service. The meal arrived very promptly and we were impressed by our whole experience. Thank you.

It's ok. I enjoyed the game of pool with my workmate after a hard week. ($4 a game, bring your $2 coins)
But I'm disappointed that this pub, like so many today, don't serve even the simplest of meals outside of restaurant hours. Not even a serve of hot chips. Instead they direct you to the vending machine. Personally, I feel it's poor service.

Great food, service was excellent. Room clean and tidy. Only one criticism, would like to have had a microwave in the room. We had lunch at the restaurant and had so much left over that we would have liked to be able to heat it up later. Would definitely stay there again.Maybe more pillows.

The rooms are very clean, and it's great to have a covered car park right outside our room. The meals from the bistro were very good value and were delivered promptly.

From the minute I walked into the tavern I was greeted by friendly bubbly staff who went above and beyond to help us and make our time there the most enjoyable experience I have had in a long time. The way in which the staff members interact including the customers and making everyone feel welcomed and like part of a friendship circle was brilliant. If you are ever headed to the morayfield tavern I hope you get to experience Bec and Julie to look after you, these ladies are not only funny but their customer service is second to none and they will always make you feel welcomed. 10/10 I willBe back because of the way in which these ladies left me feeling

The tavern catered for our family Christmas get together and exceeded expectations. Thank you for the great food and drinks!. Also - side note - bar staff were lovely and had great banter.

Just wanted to say thanks to Chef Kym and the staff at the Morayfield Tavern for catering an awesome Christmas buffet this afternoon and evening. She offered great option and communication and then backed it up with excellent pricing and product. This allowed me to enjoy my family Christmas dinner without the stress and mess I usually associate with it. I can thoroughly recommend this venue for you family pre-Christmas function.

Brilliant facility with exceptional staff. We had a 90th Birthday Party there and nothing was too much trouble for these guys. So easy to arrange things and we were very well catered for. Fabulous thank you.
