The room they given us has a dozen of bull flies in it. The room was very smelly and decided to move to another room. The next room was so dusty and the bed was itchy a lot of hair, maybe not clean properly or didn't change the bedsheets.

Convenient location, the room had not been cleaned though so that was disappointing. Funky style, would be good if it was clean and there was some money thrown at the plumbing...

Really quirky old hotel, so many period details, like stepping back in time. Love it, can't wait to come back!!!

What a delightful stopover. An absolutely unique experience. Our beautifully fitted out suite, remeniscient of the seventies, had Him and Hers bathrooms !!!!! All the mod cons. Beautifully neat, clean and comfortable. This is a must do on a coastal road trip.

The staff were helpful and welcoming. The Beer garden was lovely lovely plants and cheerful atmosphere. Room was comfortable. The owners were very hospitable.

Staff friendly and welcoming of even the silliest question from a visitor.
Room absolutely clean at check-in. I will leave it as I found it.
Quiet, stress-free when I needed it.
Never been to Moruya b4 but next time I'm come here will stay here again.
Only issue was perhaps one downlight globe blown.
Secure parking, no APPARENT idiots in motel.
I NEVER post reviews of anything but in this case I'll make an exception.

My son and I stayed overnight at the Monarch Hotel Motel in Moruya. Really friendly staff, clean rooms, really comfortable beds, great shower. We would definitely stay here again, cheers Michel.

Room smells of cigarettes and dirt. I don't think the carpet or curtains have been cleaned properly in years.

Hubby and I popped in for a Grifter and werent we surprised at the stunning heritage of this awesome pub. Played the pokies, played the juke box, and pool. Bartender was friendly and efficient. Loved the vibe in this old pub. Knowing our McLean ancestors once walked the streets of Moruya made the visit more special. Five stars. A must do on your bucket list.

5 star for the service, super friendly and responsible stuff. We check in late, they called us twice to make sure we can find our room easily and provide their after hours number for us to call anytime if we need help. Appreciated! No dramas! Thank you!

Walked in and served within 20 seconds. Great bar staff. Grifter on tap. The only pub to be at south of the bridge...

Old school motel, friendly staff, clean rooms. Very basic facilities. No room service (food). You can't even call reception from your room. Has a bar downstairs with quite limited choices, 1 pool table and no music (paid jujebox available). U can't BYO at the courtyard outside due to the bar which is a shame.

Very good price / quality ratio, very clean tidy and at breakfast we were well looked after, good bar.

terrible service, the reception wasnt open, they checked us in at the bar. was expecting a good clean room but there wasnt even a DINING TABLE. we ended up using all of our bedside tables together to eat our dinner. there were bugs everywhere, the tv wasnt working, the bar was very loud and the neighbors were screaming all night. the breakfast was literally just cereal and coffee, we eneded up going to a cafe near by. but we did get beds that were alright and a working hot shower so I mean that's a plus.

Good place for cheap accommodation in the centre of town. My room was comfortable and air conditioned. The bar does not serve meals but there are plenty of options in town.

Originally booked a single room but with shared facilities. The owner Michel Nader who is 92 years old rang into say he could put me in a private suite with my own bathroom which was greatly appreciated. Very clean room with good hot shower and a very comfortable bed. Secure parking for my bike was an added bonus.THANK YOU TEAM I HAD A GEAT SLEEP AND AM READY FOR ANOTHER DAY ON THE BIKE TOURING THIS GREAT LAND.Once again thank you foryour hospitality
