Played a round today with 2 of us, started on the back 9, got to the 5th hole and there was a group of 5 that didn't let us through and no one in front. I'm pretty certain they were members,not good etiquette.

We played Merewether for the first time last week and we must say the Pro Shop staff are outstanding. Made us feel warm and welcome as social golfers. Just on that we can't wait to play again.

The course is a very tricky course but there is reward for good play. The course layout did get a little confusing but we managed to get it figured out.

The greens are in outstanding condition and played true. As I said we cannot wait to play at Merewether again.

Terrific course. So close to the city which is great. Lovely place to socialise afterwards.

Great innercity course that has done pretty good with the course considering the amount of rain in 2022. The greens on a Monday in August 2022 were fast and reliably consistent. The pro shop staff were super friendly and helpful and the green fees were reasonable.

Loved it! Best score ever! And in cold weather!

The pro's can smash those drivers! Dodt drove to the mound 30m from 1st off the back tees! And the pro from Ryde Parramatta bounced on the cart path past the mound on the 1st and ended up 20m past the 1st green on the 2nd fairway! ??

Interesting meal @ this venueVery limited menu but what was ordered by our group was most enjoyable. #For something completely different in a dining experience try Merewether Golf Club's Bistro.

Interesting and well maintained course.friendly and helpful staff.All in all a nice place to have a round of golf or become a member and meet new friends.

Only open Thursday and Friday nights plus lunches. Great slow cooked prime rib 200g 300g and 400g. I had the 300g and just got through it but I'm not a big eater. The 400g would be a challenge. A nice glass of red from the friendly bar staff made it a great night. If your nit upto exercise the only draw back is 2 flights of stair, no lift.

Visited the Brasserie at the Club for dinner. Enjoyed a tasty meal with my wife. Relaxed venue
