I went here alone for an event, and I am so glad to have chosen this place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Clean towels were provided everyday, and biscuits were filled up after they finished. Bathrooms were also cleaned up frequently. After a long day at the event, coming back to the room was such a great feeling, good vibe. Thank you.

Being a regular here I was always satisfied with the customer service from the genreal staffs here but then one day, We were two boys who just asked lady manager to change the chalks (the thing that sharpens the tip of the snooker stick) for the pool (snooker game) and she behaved rudely with us. We were not as drunk (2 pints of VBs) as we know as we work ourselves in the bar.
To be true we had two pints of VB, We are a regular here as it was Friday night and in last she didn't even let us play the poker machine but she let us cash out money we wanted at the counter when she told use we have to buy something in order to cash it out. We were having a chat a with other staff about this issue, and suddenly she comes to confront that she will call the cops if we didn't leave the premises and we went out without a word as we wanted no trouble.

Worst experience ever.

Melton Motel, wasn't far from shopping centres or Qudos Areana,
Rooms were small, but clean and comfortable exactly what was needed for sleep.
Rooms weren't ready, received complementary drinks.
A bit of a mix up with our dinner but what we received was tasty.
Staff may need to remember to collect plates, glasses & clean tables
As we left for an hour and they were still there when we returned.
But this would not stop me from staying again.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time while there.

Have visited Melton a couple of times, and I must say it's the only decent pub in Auburn.
The staff are superb friendly.
Enough space for parking and great work on cleanliness.
There are multiple screens to watch events, but it would be even more better if they could add a bigger screen.

Spent a night here for a women's world cup match at the stadium which is an easy half hour walk. If you don't mind a shared toilet & shower, the rooms are fine. Thought it might be noisy, but not a problem. Good menu and decent prices. Super friendly staff and nice to see some real Sydney between Bondi, the Rocks and Manly ?

Amazing pub, 10/10 service from sophia and yujin. Rest of the staff are very friendly. Great place to come for some drinks and food with friends. Definitely will be back for another drink :)

The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Dinner was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly specially Larra who accommodate us on our way to our room, very patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.

What a great little Pub! the staff are so friendly and the temperature inside was so comfortable, for such a cold day. we had a wonderful lunch and great service well done Melton staff!

My family and I went for dinner last and to say we were impressed is an understatement. The new renovation looks so amazing. Staff were so polite and accommodating. The food portion sizes were so big considering the prices and the food it self was soo yummy. We will definitely be back

There was a employee I must comment on. This is what everyone (Sar) I know looks for when it comes to service, this young man was respectfully,polite & prompt. I believe he went beyond his duties to satisfy custermers.

My family and I had dinner here last night. We ordered the steak, ribs and wings, Guinness pie and the kids popcorn chicken. The food was absolutely amazing! The staff are absolutely amazing as well. So friendly and inviting. Last night was the first time we have been to this hotel. It definitely will not be the last.

The new Melton is a step above! Good atmosphere, helpful cheery staff and the food is grillhouse quality ?? Ordered MEDIUM RARE rump and actually got a Medium Rare which doesn't happen in a lot of places these days. I've found my new after work ??'????'??

Popped into the Melton Hotel to try out the new bistro. It was fantastic. The rump steak was cooked perfectly. Shout out to the chef, Very delicious.

I drink in Tamarama the pubs are full of juppies. Had a drink at the Melton Hotel WOW. This pub is the best,good beer and real Australian people. The staff are very friendly and caring. I will never leave the Melton. Thank you Kylie, you all are wonderful people. Bill and Elfy.

The beer and general ambiance are good but sadly the older gentleman was rude and abrupt, the rest of the staff are approachable and generally very polite, the signage for the smoking area is obscured.

Wow - even our dog thinks that this place deserves a hat! We drove 2.5 hours for lunch, high exceptions and hopeful that the "dog friendly" with a chefs hat was going to live up to expectations! Blew us away with service as soon as we arrived and the menu is something you'd expect some urban kitsch fine dining restaurant in Sydney! Amazing beverage menu, beers were a stand out and just fast high quality bar staff that were friendly under festive season assault!

Undergoing a renovation and there's hardly anything to it at the moment. Just a hole in the wall drinking establishment with lots of gambling machines. Maybe will be nice when the reno is done, but until then absolutely avoid.

The management were awesome, so helpful and nice. Rooms were awesome and clean. Food from bistro was also magic. Cheap place to stay yet just perfect. Will be back ??'?

Extremely disappointed
Stayed in the accommodation.
- No hot water in the filthy showers for multiple days
- Vomit in the sink when we arrived one night
- There was a half a skid man in our room when we arrived
- So much noise of traffic all night long.

I voice my concerns with one of the staff members. She said that the manager would call me. An hour past and no call. I then went down to the bar to see if I could find someone. They then said they would meet me in my room. Instead, they locked all of the doors and left for the night.

Many of the other patrons had similar concerns.

Stayed here one night after a flight from New Zealand. The room was clean and tidy with a fridge and fresh sheets. It seems to be an old hotel, I imagine when European arrived in Australia in the 1800s this place might have been a place they stayed!? Anyway down stairs they have a sort of traditional style Australian bar with pokies and sports, beer and food. And a drink on arrival, included in the hotel price.

What a great find.
The bar staff were lovely.
The Bistro however was the star.....the menu is varied with choices at extremely reasonable prices.
The staff in the bistro were attentive and helpful.
The food was great, generous potions, hot and delivered to the table.
Looking forward to a return visit.

a bit grimy and I in the front bar area. [---] room is immaculate. the only down side is the option of machines is limited, they mainly have the new type that requires at least 1x gold orb on each reel up 2 reel 4. it's too hard to win anything like that.

They still got some old sch 5 drago pokies. So loved it

I was having few wonderful night in this hotel. Nice and clean. The cleaner was cleaning it every day. The hotel staff are very helpful. Even I was checking in at 2am nearly 3. They are nice to describe everything to us. There is a huge parking area at the back. Don't need to worry about to place your Car.

Highly recommend to everyone who need to stay the good night with their trip.

Absolute tru blu Aussie pub the locals have character and charm, staff are attentive and friendly. The joint was clean and the food was pretty good. From my experience it's hard to complain about anything really, management was also friendly and desirable.

Good pub, went there for a meal with the family over the weekend nice atmosphere and food was yummy. And yes they are COVID Safe. Will be back for a future visit for sure in the future.

The Menu looks ordinary....the Kebab shop outside is just as Bland. Get a bag of CC's or cross the road and hit Micky D's...
