Not the most impressive Guinness Pie I have had, more like stew in a pot with a puff pastry log on top. I was expecting mash potato, it was there but hidden under all the stew.

Positives, meals were lowest priced we have had all week, fast service too.

The atmosphere of this pub is not that good but the service is even worst. The Asian (I think Thai ) female bartender was unfriendly and a bit rude when taking the food and drink order. She made a lemon, lime and bitter with one different ingredient..... I did not want say nothing because she was already upset.
Well for me was the first and last time.

Lots of room, plenty of seating. Dining room down a couple of steps.

Order food with your drinks at the bar, food pickup is at the bistro counter, you get a buzzer for when your food is ready to be collected.

Toilets are down a flight of stairs.
Looks like a regular hangout for all the local office workers for their after work drinks.

Is a good place place to while in Sydney. Right in the center of Sydney.
There's a place to eat and drink underneath.
Note: if you buy take away meal. You will pay for the food and packaging differently. Better dine in .

We wanted to try Maloney's Hotel for ourselves as we had "googled" Irish Pubs in Sydney & it had a good rating of 4 stars . We were less than impressed . Our dinner was pretty ordinary for the price & the " house wines " that we asked for were VERY overpriced compared to other city venues . Also , for a IRISH PUB it lacked atmosphere , & the music playing , definitely was not Irish ??'???'?

Bit dark decor for my liking, felt bit closed in. Service bit on the slow side. Food was great and kitchen staff very friendly and smiley. Reasonably priced.

Clean pub which I found to regularly have clean seating available (in a relatively busy part of Sydney). Staff were friendly and attentive and the meals were excellent (well above average for pub meals). Recommend the rump (with a side of steamed veggies) and the reef & beef (these are not deep fried so another plus)

Walked past so many times and always very busy: finally get to try today. The daily specials and chefs specials are definitely value for money. Quite spacious seating indoor. Quite family friendly actually. Happy to go back

On the corner a busy Sydney intersection, this quaint Irish feel pub is where we had a dinner before heading to a show around the corner. The menu was not overly extensive and had the usual pub dining choices. In saying that the food was delicious and we were lucky enough to share a bottle of wine whilst seated in some very comfortable lounge chairs watching the city pass us by.

Nice smoking area to chill have a beer and a cigarette. Whilst doing a bit of people watching. Pleasant friendly staff.

Good service, quick for food and drinks when it was reasonably busy. The food was alright, Market Fish (Barramundi) was great but the steaks weren't. Also, the Reef and Beef was just a steak with a couple of prawns.

Like thier vibe chill and relax. Delicious foods and drinks. Friendly staffs member too.

Nice pub, large venue which is nice inside. We ate there the food was good. They have specials in addition to the standard menu. Pricing is very good well worth a visit here in pitt street

Food was quick nice enough and good value. Not too crowded, but it was a Wednesday evening. However, none of the 3 bar tenders on that night had any idea of pouring a Guinness, very poor.

Seriously the best battered fish this side of the blue mountains. You know what the say..... don't eat seafood if you are more than 50 km from the coast...... I'll just let you think about that ..
The staff are friendly,the beer is cold and the food is everything you would expect from a Sydney pub. Except the fish, the fish is stupendous!!!!

Chill place to kick back with a drink. Nothing fancy, just cheap drinks, casual pub food in a very convenient location. I've been here way too many times over the last 7 years $5 Spirits 'Happy Hour' from 10am - 10pm and $12 cocktails. I can't recommend the cocktails too much.

Ordered a 150 lashes that was definitely nothing like a 50 lashes. Asked for a refund and was only offered a repour. Would give a 0/5 if I could. Definitely never coming back to this second rate pub.

You should change your menu. It says that the chicken schnitzel comes with salad, but when Ive asked the chef for it he said nope it doesnt. Youve ruined my lunch on my only day off.In the past, I have been working in Hospitality myself. You should train your kitchen workers to offer unhappy clients some salad if they request it.I wont be coming back

Good food. Good beer. Good service.But POOR Venue - there was no air conditioning! Very uncomfortable, hot and sticky environment.

Alwys ended up having a sneaky few as its a great place and housed with good staff who are always nice and friendly. This is the place for $14 jugs The food is great and you end up meeting a lot of Latin /South American who are again always up for a good chat and laugh

So today at 22:10pm 19 October 2020 I went to this place again and i was regular to this hotel but today when I went in I showed my ID, signed in then i showed it to the security but he asked me to show our bags(we were three friends) this is the first time, the security guy was rude he behaved in such a way that we felt respectless that's nice maloney's hotel excellent customer service I won't visit again thank you??. I feel the responsibilities of security guard but he should respect to the customers.

Very nice place to hang out, especially the steak with paper sauce is taste very nice. The meat cook properly well done without burn.

Drinks were horrible, didn' accept Victorian licenses, but were fine with American and Los Angeles licences. Had proof that they've been in Sydney for the past 6 months but snapped back when shown proof. So we left.
