Booked a family room at night cap for 2 nights. Neat and tidy rooms with aesthetic look, well maintained toilets, close to all amenities. The walls were a bit dusty though. Complementary breakfast at Macquarie inn gives a good start for the day. Food at Macquarie inn is great at reasonable price. Definitely recommended ++

food is average for the price. kitchen staff are untrained or dont care about dietary requirements. My wife is coeliac and they put chips cooked in the fryer with schnitzels on her plate, when asked to fix it they said they would just take the chip of the plate.

Awesome place to stay, time for a bevey before check-in. Go back not to late from our wedding. Beds could have been a little more comfortable but a great breakfast soon made up for that. Spacious rooms clean & friendly. Would visit again happily.

My daughter & I travelled from Sydney to experience the Western Plains Zoo. We like to sleep in separate beds & not all places do this. The room was great, two comfy beds, spacious shower, air con, kitchenette. Everything we needed.
We ate at the associated Macquarie Inn (discount for motel guests). Food was amazing. A free drink each and breakfast the next morning were included. Fantastic!

Breakfast was ordinary,not much left for 8.30 sitters.had to cook more bacon.apparently people that were attending some sort of function came and helped themselves.must do better in future.overal was a good stay

Really appreicate the guesture of changing room when requested as ours was given far end. Room where quite spacious and filled with light. As cherry on top of cake, complementory drink and breakfast was really good.

They left the keys in a lock box for us as we were travelling from Melbourne. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and easy to find and the staff are so lovely!

Excellent venue with great staff. Standard tidy rooms with furnishings. Large venue functions room and main bar area and not a bad feed at the restaurant. Location is a bit of distance from the main street shops but Orana mall is 10 minutes or less walking distance.

Clean beds and bathroom, included single serve of breakfast served buffet style, location can be quite loud depending on pub next doors patrons. Easy walk to Woolworths for supplies made it a handy location for visiting the zoo. Free drink on check in was a nice touch after a long drive.

Rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and have been given a new lease on life, from the outside the place looks VERY rough but the rooms are a pleasant surprise

Clean, good free breakfast was included, lovely location, room was very spacious for 2 adults+ 1 child. Very convenient to have the bistro/bar next door as well.

Room wasn't ready at check in time, was handed a key went to the room to find housekeeping still there & had to wait an additional half hour. Staff didn't mention it wasn't ready when we checked in at the agreed time. Floor wasn't vacuumed, balcony littered with cigarettes, dirt & cob webs. Cockroaches in the bathroom.

Booking & check in was simple and easy. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room felt like it was brand new! Warm and cosy despite the very cold weather. And the beds were super comfortable!
The only 'needs improvement' was the internet connection/bandwidth for the TV - wasn't able to get anything other than free to air. Netflix wouldn't play when logged in.

Stayed with partner and 2 children. The price was great, the facilities were new and clean and thoughtfully and attractively designed. The staff were efficient, warm, friendly and went out of there way to offer help.
The food in the adjacent pub was generous and tasted great and the staff were efficient, warm and helpful. My son left his raincoat there and the waitress ran across to the hotel to bring it to us.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at either place and we would absolutely stay there and eat there again.

Best pub meals in town. The staff are efficient and friendly in the bistro. Kelly is an amazing chef.

Food was great, beer was great. Hottel rooms are good but slightly dated. Shower was definitely not great

Your everyday country-style motel with an extra touch of class and warmth. Loved the wooden and brick styles. Great place for locals as well as travellers.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Family compact room was perfect for a young family. Amenities were good.

It would be superb if hot breakfast is served instead of cold bfast.

The beds were comfortable and warm (during late may in Dubbo). The most comfortable sleep I have had in a hotel for some time.

We arrived at the hotel only to find put that booking.com had messed up, while they gave me a confirmation, the hotel was fully booked.
I must compliment Jerrad the manager that evening on his efforts to help us out. We were offered a free meal while we waited for him to call booking.com. Thankfully, it worked out after a while and we were accommodated in some other hotel.
The restaurant team was also very helpful.

the dinner to be very ordinary.

I thought that the steak was

One Waitress in the Restaurant
(a largish woman)
seemed smug and offhanded,
and even unfriendly.
On my way out , I thought I
smelt a distinct odour
of Marijuana wafting nearby.
I also heard unfavourable

This place almost ruined our entire trip. Whilst the rooms themselves were okay, this place has a huge bug problem at night. The gap between the bottom of the door and the floor is so big that literally just about any bug known to man can fit under it, which in this case just let crickets stroll right in. If that wasn't bad enough, once you turn on the lights you need only wait about an hour or two until you get to experience crickets raining down from above from the light fixture in the bathroom next to the tub. At night you can hear them in the walls and in the ceiling. My partner and I barricaded any possible entry points from the bathroom and the main door to the bedroom with towels under the doors. However, there must be a third entry point in the bedroom itself where the crickets are STILL able to access the room. I am not joking when I say we killed at the very LEAST 80 crickets easily that night. We came very close to sleeping in our car. We got virtually no sleep. I am thankful we only booked one night here as the plan was always to move off to another area the next day and what was supposed to be a lovely start to our vacation ended up being the start from hell.

Our favourite place to stay in Dubbo. Very friendly, clean, did a bathroom renovation recently in family room, great place to comfortably stay for family 2 adults and 2 kids. Have a place to eat on a site, very close to shopping centre. People are lovely!

Christmas Lunch 2020 was a lovely family Banquet for us. We sat back and loved the atmosphere, food and the staff.
