The food and staff at this pub are by far the worst I have ever experienced.
Extremely overpriced, tasteless food, unfriendly service. Go back to Sydney merivale! Narooma doesn't need you here!

We didn't stay here so cannot review the room however we dined in the restaurant and we're met with smiles for service and deliciousness for dinner. The Fish Pie was suggested and well received and I just had to try the Banana Split, so yummy. Recommend it's on your list to visit in your time in Narooma. After all it's not every day you can dine in a pub as old as time :)

$45 for a bottle of Merivale's own brand white house wine??

Had slow cooked lamb shoulder, which was good, but the trimmings were meh. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant, and peas probably frozen, and there was more peas than anything else :)

We ordered dinner for 2 adults and a toddler take away. Food preparation and quality was excellent. I watched one person in the kitchen double check each meal before they gave it to
me. Food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The best place to eat in Narooma by a mile.

What a gem to find up on the hill. Fantastic sirloin & Local Smoked Fish Pate was superb. A very pleasant experience. The menu was quality & not surprising as it is part of the Merivale Group.

Please save yourself some time and avoid visiting this eatery. I ordered a steak that cost $39 and was quite disappointed. I can make a better steak at home than at this place. The chef sprinkled a jar of salt on the burned steak. The mushroom sauce was disgusting, and even the chips were salty. We requested a salad but instead received some strangely assembled and tasteless cabbage. Don't go there.

We stopped here for dinner as it was essentially the only thing open the night we were in Narooma and we were treated to an outstanding meal. Really tasty schnitzel! Very friendly staff and a great beer selection. What a lovely surprise.

Reasonably portioned fish pie and chicken parmie with Cabbage side salad (total $59) was yum. Fresh, hot delicious food. Friendly professional service.

Saturday 630pm dinner booking during off peak season was not too busy. Parked outside of pub for free.

Normally I'm not used to get a good customer service in pubs as the staff are too busy but this place took the customer service to next level for me. Food (ordered steak and chicken Parma) was also awesome and a big thank you to kitchen staff. Keep up the good guys.

Had a great night at the Lynch Hotel! Great varieties of beers on tap, I had a delicious steak for dinner, and the staff were lovely! Can't recommend enough for anyone in Narooma

Food was average at best and despite the dining room being less than full the service was way less than expected. Drink order took 25 minutes ( after we asked) and food 70. Definitely not Merivale standard. And we were not the only patrons who were underwhelmed.

We were staying at the Whale Inn in Narooma and dropped by Lynch's for one beer and ended up staying for a fun filled evening. They have a good selection of beer on tap. The fried cauliflower we ordered was so good we had to have another.

Nice old pub with great decor. Stayed for dinner. Meal was very nice. Full table service in a pub was a good experience. Ollie, (front of house staff) was first class. As were the wait staff. Place was busy but still able to hold a conversation.
Recommend to anyone visiting Narooma.

Visited Sunday night for dinner and drinks while here on holiday. Food was delicious; chicken parmigiana and chicken schnitzel. My partner is fussy with food and he said it is the best schnitzel he's ever had! Great atmosphere; we sat in the front room with the candles and the ambiance was beautiful, soothing music played in the background and the table service was fantastic

Great dinner, lots of fantastic staff and excellent wines and food.
We had the Merivale red which was yum.
Perfect location if you're staying at the Whale over the road.
Don't plan for a late night, I think it's closed early

Oh my goodness, where to start. Firstly it is a proper dining room, just beautiful. The service from the waitress, waiter and publican was first class. We ordered the crisp cauliflower with romesco sauce, deep fried chicken wings, fish pie with iceberg salad and finally chocolate brownie with caramel popcorn and raspberries. Every mouthful was perfectly delicious.

Classic pub food done really well, what more can you want? We were a party of 7 that came here for a family dinner last week, we were seated in a private dining room which we really appreciated, it was a super cosy space and despite being separate from the main dining area the staff were still super attentive and friendly - we did not feel forgotten about at all. We all really enjoyed our main meals and our entreés, the smoked fish dip was a big hit! Highly recommend Lynch's for dinner in Narooma. Great food and lovely staff.

Good place to have a drink

We enjoyed the Nepalese chilli prawns; Malaysian satay fish curry; and chicken korma: all fresh, generously portioned and delicious. Indian dishes seem to be a specialty. My other son had the pesto pasta and salad, which were both fine but probably not their strong suit.

Really enjoyable meal. The food is really good and certainly a level above most of what else is on offer for holiday eat outs. I had the Nepalese lamb curry which was really tasty, our table also had Nepalese chicken curry which was good and the New Yorker steaks which were also apparently very good. One touch which I don't think I've seen before which I really liked was that when you order wine by the glass they bring the bottle to the table and pour it in front of you. Altogether though a really nice experience in this old pub, great friendly service and quality tasty food.

This is an incredible location with wonderful food. A delectable menu that needs a few trips to get to try the best of the menu.

Great local old school pub. Wildfire restaurant has a varied selection of meals but the curries are what makes it special.

In middle of beautiful town with delicious food and excellent customer service. When Passing or staying in Narooma try Lynch's , you won't regret.

The steak was cooked perfectly with good sauce. The curry is what you expect from a small country town. It wasn't bad in any way just slightly above average. Would be fine for the average person but not a picky eater!

A restaurant with good service and a range of both classic pub style food aswell as tasty curries of the Nepalese dialect (similar to indian for those unaware). Decent range of drinks aswell.On the slightly more expensive side.Recommend for a nice dinner in the Narooma area.

Good menu including steak & chips & prawn hot pots/ sizzling platters. Pretty fast service. Even do a takeaway - good prices too!

Amazing food with very friendly staff. Not what I expected when I first walked in. Great selection of Aussie beers and wines. Would highly recommend Lynch's (The Top Pub) if you are in the area.
