Food was quite good except for the chicken schnitzel. It was clear that it was "FAKE" reconstituted chicken. It tasted awefull and the small peice i ate made me feel crook. We saw our freinds get the parmy which appeared to be proper chicken breast. I would say steer clear of the schnitzel.

Nice cold drinks and good service. Restaurant menu and prices are reasonable. Lots of seating and parking.

The backpacker staff were inexperienced in the most simple things like unwrapping the salt shaker on my table anyway or even ringing up a receipt for my records so I could claim my meal for business purposes. The continental breakfast and lunch combination was passable though the lunches being prepared the night before were tired and unwelcoming by the time I had them for lunch the next day. Sad really as the venue and facilities are well presented.

Had an evening meal here. The char grilled pork chop was the nicest I've ever had. The meal was in itself very tasty and well presented.
Atmosphere in the premises was very social.
I was startled to see wild curlews walking around the open air eating area totally unconcerned by the throng of people.
Definitely recommend a visit.

We love going there for lunch, always beautiful meals, great specials and very good service. The outdoor dining area is huge, so you don't feel overcrowded, and it's very open and airy with a nice pool for a swim to keep the kids occupied.

We ate here on a Friday night, and it was PACKED! Meals were delicious and didn't take too long considering the large number of diners.

My family and I had lunch in the beer garden. It was clean and roomy. Staff were nice. I ordered GF chicken wings for over $20. I got a tiny serve whilst the calamari for the same price was huge. Also, it turns out that they cook the GF food in the same oil as other food. This make the food not GF so it should not be on the menu. These kitchens should be fined. Please get kitchen staff the understand about allergies.
Didn't stay at the hotel so can't comment on rooms.

We stopped here for lunch during the week. Everything was amazing! All tables were extremely clean and spotless, there was plenty of seating available to choose from outside and in the beer garden. We ordered 2 chicken schnitzels and a fish burger and we were very impressed with how quick the food came out. The meals were presented beautifully on the plate and serving size was more than enough. The team who took our orders were very friendly and helpful and had knowledge of the menu. Large selection on the menu too. The bar was also very clean and the staff were very friendly. Lovely atmosphere at this place, we are looking forward to returning !

We had a really good experience here. Their new rooms are really nice and of a high standard. We had dinner at the hotel too and. the portions were really good.

Only con would be the mattress dipped a lot in the middle (not sure if old?) and their was no wifi in the rooms.

Despite this, would still highly recommend and would stay again.

Nice open dining area with lots of room and good range of dishes on menu.
But:
1. The staff seem uninterested, maybe just backpackers who just look at it as a job and have little interest in the customers? We tried to have a joke with each one who served us or came to the table and each time it was met with no reaction.
2. The chicken schnitzel under the "deluxe" (delicious topping of bacon, avo and hollandaise) didn't seem like real chicken breast, just the processed chicken stuff.
Overall, not good but not bad.

Great atmosphere, great meals. Aero guard and sunscreen available for use was a handy touch! Only lost a star as meals did take 50 minutes, but when they came - they were excellent. 2 parmis and a lasagne, and 3 happy consumers!

Excellent location and venue for parties, celebrations and get togethers. The food was beautiful and very tasty. The service was great. We could not have asked for better.

Had dinner here, chicken parmi and pumpkin spinach ravioli. Both meals were very good and of high standard. Live music pleasant and not to loud. We were surprised as to how many people were here so best to book in busy times.

Very nice venue and location. Had a great lunch rump meal so went back for dinner. Chef special was on offer so crumbed steak also salt and pepper calamari. Could not recommend. 4 people deflated

Great, modern hotel with entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights and great meals. ??'? And more resident curlews, wandering through the beer garden.

Excellent food and service! Can't comment on the rooms but the food is great. Kids meal came out 10 mins after we ordered with the adult food not far behind. Well presented meals and exceptional service.

Didn't stay here but did drop in for a lovely meal and a nice cold beer for lunch. Does have on-site accommodation with a nice pool all very close walk to the bar and food court.

Fantastic night!! Ventured out from Ingham as this pub was recommended for us - a bunch of tourists up from Victoria.

The food and customer service was amazing! The menu was month watering
We had food envy over my mums mango and pawn salad. The margarita pizza took us straight back to Rome!

The kids just loved the dip in the pool after dinner.

Beautiful pub itself. Freshly renovated. Really nice food. But they've really scrimped on staff! Standing at the bar waiting for service was embarrassing just for the fact that they were looking at us and walking past hoping one of the other backpackers would serve us until I asked for service. They didn't understand what type of rum I wanted (small batch reserve) and when they poured my drink they kept trying to give me post mix when I specifically asked for a can. Even the man next to me was laughing and saying "ya better give 'em that for half price"
I don't mind paying for good food and service. At least the food was good.

Our meals were delicious. We didn't wait long and my meal was too big for me to finish. I highly recommend The Lucinda Pub for a meal.

We went there for my wife's birthday lunch. Did not stay in the accommodation so can not comment on the rooms, but the food is to for, $18 steak and similar price for the fish and it was great. Order at the bar and it will be delivered to your table. Drinks are a bit expensive, but more than compensated for by the cheap meals. Plenty of street parking, facility is completely new and modern, wheelchair access, large bottlshop with drive through, friendly staff. Have been there a couple of times so I can say the quality of the food is consistant, so would have no problem going there again so would have no problem in highly recommending this pub. Well worth the drive out from Ingham!

Had a meal here yesterday. Ordered 2 steaks, 1 with surf and turf, mash and peas, 1 with chips and salad with pepper sauce. Got charged $6 for the veg. I questioned the charge with the girl taking orders. She said the charge was correct..not her fault...the chef charges it. I said she should have told us, we thought it was a swap out. You remove the chips and salad, replace it with the mash and peas. She rudely said it's on the menu. I said no, it's not, and if there is a charge for it we should be told. She then got a menu to show us how blind we were, only it wasn't on the menu. So if you charge extra for mash and peas, where is the refund for the chips and salad not received? Quite the scam. The meals were nice. The atmosphere was noisy, to be expected in a busy outdoor eating area, the extra charge without notification was disappointing.

Had two meals here whilst staying in town. We both had steaks the first time. Mine was good but hubby was dissatisfied as his had lots of gristle !
Second meal I had creamy garlic/chilli prawns, prawns were delicious. Hubby had a chicken schnitzel which was huge so we took half of it home for our dogs only to discover it was processed!!!

Had one complaint on an inedible meal after quite good food and a few hundred dollars spent over two days in the bar/ bistro. The off duty chef and the waitress apologised and offered refund on the meal in question but the old lady in charge refused it... insulted us and gave nothing. Big fish in a small pond. Only pub in town but brilliant food and service 1km up the road.

Awesome food, friendly staff who go the extra mile. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place , the beer garden is fantastic the food is great and the beer is cold . This is one place you must try . And there dog friendly one of my favourite place to go.

Hubby and I had Steak chips and salad, Aunty had Chicken snotty. We all had great lunch.
Pub is a very clean and pleasant place to eat or have a drink.

Very well presented outdoor dining area lovely cool breezy area, meals were excellent and quickly prepared. Ample parking from and both sides of the pub. Pool area for a quick dip if you require one after a hot day fishing. Amenties are new and very clean.

Lovely covered outdoor dining area (pool close by if your drunk and need to sober up). Meal was delicious, reasonably priced and served in good time. Friendly helpful staff and beautifully clean amenities.

Fantastic atmosphere for watching the footy.Meals are very affordable and the pool is a great way to end the day with a cold drink.The accommodation is value for money..

We had my birthday dinner here. They have up graded the whole building now and it is spectacular. I use to work there when it was in its original form. We all loved our meals.

So good that we ate here twice on the same day! Great food, great setting and great service. Calamari and the garlic/chilli prawns were the pick. Couldnt put the Reds game on unfortunately, but the manager came out to explain why and was very apologetic. Only possible improvement would be to screen off the smoking section, as the smoke did drift around into the non smoking section. But overall, a great drinking and dining experience.
