The hotel catered well for a large crowd of people. Food was brought out close together.
The standard sized chicken parmigiana, chips, salad and additional vegetables cost $36 which is not cheap. It's good they have the option for a half schnitzel at a lesser price (about $5 cheaper). A plain schnitzel, chips and salad is a good price, so too the specials of the day which includes a 250g steak on Monday for about $22. The senior meals must be good value because the seniors were happy.
My food was Luke warm but the crowd of 40 was unusual so that's forgivable. Taste was fine. Vegetables clearly from bain mariee and with a butter sauce.
We ordered two of the same (chicken parmigiana) and shared them with our 1 and 3 year old. There was plenty to share. We got one dessert (sticky date pudding and icecream) for our children to share, but it was too much for them, so we had a good amount each as well.
We didn't realise there was a kids meal option with a drink and dessert included. Still, our method was slightly cheaper. Kids meals are best for those 4 years plus from what I've observed, when they have more of an appetite.
Plenty of room for little ones. We brought toys and they played near the table.
I'd obviously rate this hotel higher if they had a playground or playspace with toys available.
Worth a visit for a crowd.
