Stayed over night as we where travelling further,great location close to Bowling club, clean tidy room.

Took 34 people to Lightning ridge and we stayed here to 6 nights. Very clean rooms, great service and the kitchen room was a hit with a home cooked breakfast every morning.

We loved our stay at this motel. Our room was so big and very well equipped and furnished. It is a short walking distance to pubs and cafes.

Carol and her team were very professional, helpful, and an absolute crack up. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back.

Old fashioned accommodation in the NSW Outback. A comfortable stay. My accommodation was 'neat as a pin'.

I like staying there and it was great and staff were great they had a no pet rule my cats were toy cats and they were support workers in cat form

Stayed here a number of times now. Each time I've experienced extremely helpful staff. Nothing is too hard. We flew in so didn't have a car but we were helped out beyond expectations with regard to our requests. Thanks to Amber, Julie and Carol for your help and happy natures. I'll be back again one day.

Room made up each morning. Had breakfast in breakfast room at motel. Excellent. Had to have dinner at the Bowling Club across the road.On a coach.

Everything about this motel was above average. Rooms, staff, meals, location, price. If you want accommodation in Lightning Ridge, this is the place.

Staff here were very friendly, welcoming, and excited to share with us the highlights of town and the best times to visit certain areas.
The rooms were standard but clean and comfortable. It is very easy to walk to where we want but also to take a car for trips further out.

Huge room and had everything we needed. Friendly staff and ideal location. We also loved the pool. Thank you!

The lady (Receptionist) is Senior, but she is a very nice person. Rooms are actualy good, but that depends on which one you choose.

I booked number 12 and 14, both are very comfortable for me.
- They have a hair dryer which is a plus for me !
- Complimentaries are nice, and we got fresh milks.. sweet.
- Breaky are also nice, the uncle are really polite and helpful, unfortunately they ran out of lamb chops that time but the bacon egg toast are very nice along with good coffee.
- They have swimming pool also, but havent tried since work calls in early morning.
- bathroom are nice, they provide towels for face, sweat and body.
- The room i booked has 3 bedrooms which also very nice, and the walls are quite solid (unless you are having a wild night)

This is a small town, but they deliver a good service. Good luck for you guys !

Very comfortable beds.. A little pricey for what you get.. May be Some complimentary biscuits and fresh milk would be nice to have a good coffee/tea would compensate for the price of your rooms..
Location is perfect for anyone who wishes to go to the bowling club for a few drinks and a meal which is directly across the road from the motel..
And very convenient that you can have fresh towels at check-in if your planning a to go out to the bore baths..

Our room was disability friendly. Walking distance to most town points of interest. Large bowls club across road. Membership offers discounts on accommodation costs.

Facilities were clean and spacious. Nice and warm as well during the winter. Great location too.

Nice Motel good size rooms, really nice management and just across the road from the club for great meals. In the centre of town close to all shops.

Worst customer service, rude reception staff. Rooms need an update. Bed were so uncomfortable and bathrooms had mould and the body wash was so stinky. Sheets didnt seem like they were washed for months. Too noisy. Awful overall experience.

This motel far exceeded our expectations of a motel in this remote region.

Cleanliness, decor and friendliness of staff was faultless

Gross chain smoking neighbours. Closed room stank of cigarettes from the 4 people in the next two rooms chain smoking on the bench outside our window for three days in (I vape). Weird long dorm room with 5 beds upstairs for two. Clean enough. Avoid the breakfast buffet...maybe avoid the hotel altogether.

Pretty much exactly what you expect from a small town motel. Definitely could have been cleaner (toilet and sink were gross and stained) but nothing particularly off-putting. Good location, easy walking distance to everything and bowls club across the road which gets you a discount on your motel if you become a member.

Need to know about Lightning Ridge? Stay here and ask the lovely owner. She gave us a discount if you go over the road and join the bowls club. We have no memory of the evening. Must have been good.

Nothing too flash but does the job with basic serviceable facilities. Tied in with the huge Bowlo across the road which appears to be the Ridge's focal point so extra benefits too.

I couldn't rate this place high enough. Carol and her minions go above and beyond to keep their guests happy. Great place to stay. Loved it.
