Back fifteen years ago, it wasn't crash hot, but since renovations, I find it one of the most relaxing pubs in the area. The staff are wonderful and polite. The decor is up to date. I like it nevertheless.

Use to drink there in the early 70's, a great pub them days, everyone knew other, haven't been there for over 40 years, not the same Lakemba.

Lakemba is a hub of food different nationality multicultural food options and good things open till late

Poor service, management and facilities.
1) Check-in took way longer than it could have been and the manager gave us the wrong invoice.
2) When we entered the room, the bathroom floor was still wet and the room was not cleaned properly.
3) The shower was not working and toilet got clogged. We had to ask the staff several times to fix the issue but they said the plumber would only be in the next morning. When we asked them where we'd shower, they said they didn't know. Eventually, the manager let us shower in a separate room but this was very inconvenient for us. The hotel didn't offer any compensation for this poor experience.

While this is a budget hotel, I'd expect at LEAST functional facilities and staff who know what they're doing.

I called and booked the hotel, then they told me that they can give me $50 discount. However, when I came, they did not not gave me the discount and charged me the full amount. This is a scam.

Very poor service. No lift to the room, only staircase access. No iron or kettle in the room.

Room wasn't cleaned. Dirty bed sheets. Had to ask multiple times for toilet paper, the cleaner wouldn't give me any as she "didn't have enough" and then rolled her eyes at me when I stated the room needs toilet paper after giving me a roll.

Mele Is the barmaid, what a delightful young lady. Very friendly & helpful. We are not Moslems but went to Lakemba for the night markets it was very interesting & this pub is a great Watering hole.

The rooms are quiet spacious and comfy.
Pity the access to the room are by stairwell, also the management only allow only one visitor per room and if they found out, then they'll ask everyone to leave including the tenant.

The bottle shop is open till midnight except sunday so very handy if you are out late. Well priced as well for a hotel

This is a very nice hotel. It is near the lakemba train station. A lot of food outlet nearby so getting hungry is not an option here. My only issue and this is personal anyway is there's a bar and casino downstair that I dont like myself. Checking out is easy as well.

It's the only hotel in lakemba and the service right up there with the best ??'? tab gaming room TAB many TV'S and plenty restaurants just out side hotel great for social drinks and have a good night or day relaxing.

Every staff was friendly and nice with beer and game to play within hotel. Except the house keeper, he keeps on knocking before the check out time for us to leave.

Ask for the toilet tissue. Wait forever and they said they gonna send to the room. But nah! I went to asked again and the girl said want to send was already went out from the places. Then the other staff grab the toilet tissue from their public toilet and hand it to me. Been experiencing twice like this when you wait forever in the room because they said they will come. But nah. That is the way they want to escape from you. Think twice before choose this accomodation.

Rooms are fully renovated if that's what your looking for , but at the moment 13 /7 /21 the service and organisation of rooms is a joke ... you can't call cause no one answers ... once I got there I even suggested they divert the phones to some one who cares and they just looked at with a blank face .... phark sakes , with modern tech ...its not that hard people ...... I won't be going back ....EVER ... To hard to deal with
