Plenty of seating. Beers ice cold. The meals were lovely.

Waited an hour and 15 minutes for the food on a day with an average amount of people for a restaurant. Atmosphere was nice and you could sit inside, outside in the sun or outside in the shade. Food was edible, not much more but the prices were reasonable. Overall nothing super positive jumped out about the experience, wouldn't recommend.

The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. There was an arcade machine there so my kids were entertained. Definitely will be coming back.

Food was lovely, service was good but I was extremely disappointed in the hotel for charging $17 for a can of Canadian Club. So We won't be back. Absolutely no need for such greed.

The front of the hotel was nice,reminded me of an old school country pub.The bar area was neat and tidy & bar staff were friendly.I didn't spend too much time in the beer garden,it's mostly for people to have a cigarette with their drinks.We'll probably visit Kootingal hotel again next time we're in town.

I thought the meals were decently priced until we waited over an hour and a half for our meals. Then it came out barely even warm and wasn't even good to eat. The ladies at the bar were really nice and replaced our kids drinks who had saved them waiting for their food, but had ended up with bugs in them, even though we were sitting inside.

Good food , prices were good . Had a nice lunch with my kids and grandson . Bar staff polite and friendly . Would definitely go again . The service as really good as well

We went to the bistro which as always was great food. Staff were wonderful and I just never can say anything bad about it

We eat out here regularly, Andrew and his team do a fantastic job with meals and entertainment, the kids area out the back is great for the kids.

Went there for evening meal. Blue Rump & well done Scotch fillet were excellent. Twice cooked pork was disappointing.

Bistro meals are extremely overpriced,ordered reef & beef $44,& rump $37,steak was not cooked how it was ordered & Vegies were barely warm.
Looked like the locals reserved all the tables in the bistro,a reserved table for 2 were taking up a whole table for 6 & there was no where to sit only in the bar area on high tables.
This pub is very very overpriced & overrated,will not return.

Hubby and I both had an excellent meal here for lunch.
You could taste/see this was not mass-produced foods. This was handmade with care.
It's an old fashioned pub which is it's charm. Bar staff were friendly. Had a great visit and fully recommend.

Great food, cold beverages, friendly staff, a choice of indoor dining - or outside in a relaxed garden setting. We drive down from Bendemeer especially to dine at Kooty Pub. ?

Andrew and his staff are amazing. Always go above and beyond for their customers. Can't wait to go back for my next meal.

Good food with plenty of tables inside and out. On busy nights you should book your place

Even in lockdown this place really delivers. Our fathers day celebrations were great even though we couldn't eat out as a family we had best pizzas in Tamworth in our separate homes.

The Kooty Burger on the menu needs to reflect that the house made beef patty is actually a house made morrocan spice patty, with a hint on beef, just a hint. Totally In-edible.
The chicken burger also came out with the chicken still pink in the middle, no thankyou!

We greatly enjoy the pub food at Kooty, and we especially like the large outdoor slab tables.

I had the Kooty Burger which had the "house made burger patty" and was expecting locally farmed beef mince, for a real country beef burger. The patty was over filled with Moroccan spices and tasted more like a vegan patty you'd find in Newtown, Sydney. The bacon and egg on the burger was nice. My Mother in Law had a Chicken Burger which she didn't finish because it was a bit pink on the inside. Overall not too bad.

I picked this place because of the good reviews. I was travelling around the Tamworth area for 3 days and thought staying a few K's out of town would be okay. The good reviews are justified. The food is very nice and the room was simple and clean, which is all that I need...but the thing that really left an impression on me is that every staff member I saw or spoke to on the two nights I was there were genuinely friendly and helpful and in a good mood...to me...to the other patrons (locals) and to each other. They all just seemed to really like being there and doing what they do. Stay here!
