The overcooked recently thawed steak came covered in chimichurri which wasn't advertised but seemed to conflict with my chosen Mushroom Sauce. Pops satay beef was apparently very tough. We walked out and went home. 2 star service because the barkeep had the decency to follow us and offer a refund. Next time bring cash and we will accept, but it wasn't worth the walk back. Thanks.

Recommend for functions, lunch and dinner!! Amazing, quick response communication with Jim and the restaurant/bar staff, we held a baby shower there and it was all so seamless with their help. The bistro upstairs, Amici served such delicious food, it was a hit with everyone.

The 2nd floor is always weirdly empty every time we come. The food is always really good and the staff are really considerate. (They even brought us extra napkins and a bowl for the mussels I ordered!).

The mussels and garlic bread are surprisingly good too. It was the special for the day.

Ordered pumkin arancini but after ordering told wasn't available, ordered Scotch fillet steak and paid but then also told not available and settled for a buger with chips I will say too much sauce without asking preference ( prob could of told the girls prior to our order but, it is what it is) .. my entrè salt and pepper squid was amazing and the prawns another guest at my table forgot to order then the cook made them complimentary was also ??'? amazing.. two young girls serving us seemed very nervous as the cook was flusted and venting at them here n there when we first ordered ..admittedly we were there 8pm on a Friday night still found it bizarre to overhear such a commotion.

We went to Dukes Bar and Grill as a surprise dinner for my brothers birthday. Wow!! It sure was a pleasant surprise indeed.

The food was delicious. So many tasty option to choose from, but I went for the special of the day (Mussels cooked in a nice spicy tomato sauce, served with garlic bread), which was just as good as when my mum makes it ?
The entrees are delicious, we got the halloumi, salt and pepper squid and Garlic prawns (which is the best). The Chipotle pork ribs is also a must try ?

The service was lovely too. We were looked after really well, kind staff. But what stood out was when I changed my mind on the order after paying and muddled up 1 item which I left out, the chef looked after us and made sure we still got to try it (the garlic prawns). I must come back to try the rest of the menu.

Really great place, with amazing food, and chilled vibes, to hang after a long days work. It is truly a hidden gem in Kogarah.

Duke's grill upstairs is fantastic. It has a great pub menu with tasty dishes. The service is great from all staff. Be sure to check out the weekly specials.

Such a great venue ? welcoming staff and delicious food which is great value ? we've eaten here quite a few times and the Tuesday steak night is perfect ??'?the steaks are AWESOME and always perfectly cooked ? also tried the grilled salmon which was delish as was the curried salmon salad which was on their specials. Couldn't recommend highly enough ?

I have been going to Kogarah Hotel for few years and it has been a good experience until last week. Team served an expired beer and upon noticing we were told that "if anything happens to you, please see us". The explanation for serving an expired behaviour was illogical. They tried to justify that even after expiry it doesn't mean that beer cannot be sold!!
I would always doubt the quality now onwards and may not visit unless there is no option.

Great local pub, friendly staff . The bistro is hidden away from the main pub , located upstairs. The food is always really enjoyable (pork ribs, chicken wings are divine , must try their pasta - its like from one of those fancy Italian restaurant) . What i like the most of this place is, you can have a comfortable dinner and a couple of beers with friends and family (can actually talk and hear each other) , it's got a very relaxed vibe. Excellent spot as it's right across Kogarah station if don't want to drive.

Being an older retired guy, I enjoy a glass of wine in the early afternoon when in the area. However I don't like getting strange looks from the female bar manager. Other older men are also there on their own, but don't get the same treatment. On one occasion, she stood at the bar and stared at me! To me, that's the height of rudeness.

Seems they are currently renovating, but never the less, the staff are super friendly and they have decent prices & selections on tap beer!

Takeaway closes at 11pm it says, I arrived at 10:58pm and the Bottleshop lights are off, and the automatic doors are'nt opening, looked around, walked in and was told by Manager that she had already taken the till, and it turned to 11pm by then, I mean close at 11pm, not at 1058pm, it takes a minute to make purchase with a card, seriously lazy by staff, bottleshop look like it had been closed at 1055, why advertise and waste people's time, takeaway is closed 1055pm, if your staff are lazy.

Has a small meat raffle on Thursdays and Fridays. Food was great, and theres regular drink specials.

It has a decent sized bar area to separate the gaming lounge and there's a pool table. The staff are really friendly and they have a bottle shop too.

Kogarah hotel is a nice place very good hotel free BBQ and $5 drinks every Saturday and Sunday which is very good

We used to come here a lot before, used to get good service but today i really had a bad experience with one of the lady, we got charged for the soft drinks and also she was really rude. Girl you really need to improve your customer handling skills rather than showing your attitude and fake smile. Thankss small advice for you yayyyy????

Pretty tidy little pub, if you've moved to the area or just passing through you should pop in for a game of pool with a few cold ones or just kick back and watch the footy. Cosy place. 4 ?

Nice & small multi level pub close to Jubilee stadium for some pre game drinks! Good drinks selection & friendly staff too. Nice outdoor area located on the top floor!

The food is terrible!

Tried the food twice, never again!

The first time I ordered a Thai beef salad and the meat was so tough my jaw nearly broke and it had enough chilli to kill an army.

The second time I tried the wedges and they were full of oil. Something went wrong with the frying process... About an hour later I felt so sick that I vomited.

The food isn't cheap either.

So we ask to change with the spicy one. After ten minutes, we did not get our food so we tried to talk to the chef if they don't want to serve us anymore then give us the money back because we did not have it. Well, the chef was shouting and very angry with us. End up the chef came to our table and took the picture of the face without any permission. We ask him why he took the picture, he was lying that he did not ( but there are no other customers in the restaurant only us and the camera was facing us). We were trying to get the right food which we order and it deserves the price. And we don't know what the chef will do with the pictures.

One of our local venues which has many choices, prices are good staff always friendly. We have been eating at this restaurant for many years & it's been consistently good. Menu items have changed but there's always something to please everyone.
