Our favourite place to go for ribs and atmosphere. Parking was a bit of an issue this time at peak lunch hour but luckily found a spot 2 streets away. The meal made up for it.

Great lovely atmosphere, packed on a Saturday need to book a table if U plan on eating there. Nice spot by the fireplace, great to warm up on a cold night food was good pub food .

Parking can be a pain. The meals in the restaurant were really good, the only downside was that as a group we had to order from the counter, table service would make it better.

I booked Maddie's online for the wrong day, but the staff there were very accommodating (once I finally found it through the maze of doors)! Nice atmosphere good service (although not table service) I always add extra sauces etc and they were willing to modify my order. Everything came out hot and fresh. The Full Rack of BBQ Pork Ribs were tender (not quite fall of the bone), the mild flavour was quite nice. All in all a great experience.

Have been here many times in the past. Went there for the takeaway menu that we've always loved and the quality has drastically decreased. The burgers were dry and the onion rings made me sad thinking of how good they used to be. I used to recommend to everyone and now I will tell to avoid.

Dinner at Maddie's Kingston Hotel on 25 September 2023. Had the 350g Angus and I must say. Absolutely cooked to perfection. Usually I order a pub steak and it's overdone. Great work. Staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. Keep up the great level of service and thanks for a great meal.

The outdoor seating was so beautiful and relaxing, and everything inside looked very clean.
Food was generous, reasonable pricing and absolutely delicious and fresh. Will come back here whenever I'm in town. Great customer service and service with a smile, loved it!

Food is good pub food with some nice options. Great beer range. Clean toilets and two seperate food areas which are really well presented. Nothing better on a cold winter night then tucked in there with good food and a nice drink

Love this pub 🍻 ambient lighting, filtered draught in tap. Great pool table set up and the food is delicious 🤤 outside area is amazing to sit, relax and dine. If you haven't already been here then do yourself a favor and head on over !!

A huge thank you to all the staff in Maddies/library today. We had a wonderful gathering of 15 people in the Library, for two 70s birthdays and were served and assisted perfectly. Customer service at its very best. Congratulations. Food was delicious too!

Food is always great prepared freshly. There was a slight mishap with the order but the staff quickly fixed it and gave free drinks. Very attentive and friendly staff

The food was absolutely atrocious, i ordered the steak sandwich and it was mostly rocket, a dry bit of chewy steak and the bread was harder than the stones they made the pyramids from. My mother got the Caesar salad it was thrown together they put huge slices of Parmesan in the middle, huge slices of chicken that belong on a burger, minimal dressing and it all tasted like it was cooked with the fish, decided to try a bite of my little brothers burger and was so disappointed it tasted like left overs from all the plates mashed together into a patty will never come back

Really nice food and service. However, there are a lack of gluten-free options available. I get that gluten-free isn't that big in such a small state, but there are definitely more people that could benefit from a larger variety. The staff are very cute, attractive and kind. Overall, great all around.

Less than a five minute walk from the Pinnacle Apartments. This place has a great restaurant. They have a great range of food. But....their takeaway is excellent. Walk in, drive in....eat there. 10/10 recommended the steak sandwich!!

This bar is a great spot to hang out and have fun with friends. The highlight is definitely the pool table, which is in great condition and adds a fun element to the experience. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, with plenty of seating options and a good selection of drinks. Prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and attentive. The only downside is that it can get quite crowded during peak hours, so be prepared for a bit of a wait for the pool table. Overall, a great choice for a fun night out with friends.

Had dinner Thursday night, the lady (skinny fair height) at the small bar was not so friendly. She was taking orders with no enthusiasm and she was making us uncomfortable. But the food was great. Loved it!

We had a great time. My Labrador, Bobbie, loved her steak and veg dog dish.
Our meals were great. The staff wonderful. It would be great if smaller portions were available.
It was our third or fourth ladies doing lunch, outing here, a great location.

Enjoyed a lovely meal in the beautiful beer garden. Found it as we're travelling with our dog so needed dog friendly. They even had a pet menu (steak or steak and veggies for $6.50). Surrounded by greenery and terrific atmosphere. One of our highlights.

We loved our meal, the service we received and the lovely outdoor setting. There is a choice of sitting under a verandah covered with greenery or inside with air-conditioning. The Hotel has a couple of restaurants to choose from. We ordered online from our table and the service was fast and friendly. Meal sizes were generous and my salmon was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The food here was very nice and was of good quality. The atmosphere was very comfortable and easy going. The staff were happy to change aspects of some of our orders. The only downside was that in one of the meals there was a bit of baking paper. The staff happily gave us a full refund for the dish with the baking paper so we could buy another or if we wanted something smaller as it was half eaten.

Maddies used to be good but suddenly the quality has tanked. The avocado chicken used to be amazing but now it's over cooked chicken on high heat. The salad that comes with it used to be great and so fresh! Now the salad is jut a few leaves a cherry tomato and bits of cucumber soaked in some sauce. The chips as well are just awful now. The service is also slow. It took over 30 minutes for the food to get served, meanwhile my friend who ordered from steakhouse got served super fast and food was great as usual.
Will definitely only get food from the steakhouse part of the bar and never going to Maddies!

Amazing steaks. The place has been refurbished and it looks great. No more cook your own steak however.
Suggest you book for a Saturday (or maybe Sunday) as the secret is out.

Been twice. Food great, atmosphere great, quick and professional service. Only issue is toilets are inadequate for such a large venue (only two stalls were available), resulting in a wait to use the facilities. Would happily return again.

Had lunch at The Grill. Really liked how the steaks were on display, so you could choose which cut you'd like. Service was great. Steaks cooked perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better pub lunch.

Absolutely sensational. The staff were great. All of them very accommodating fitted my wife and I in with no notice for the restaurant on a Friday night which was busy. Food was very good and the staff member came and confirmed our booking in the hotel. Thank you very much.

Have been going there since I was 17, now I am 66. Still a great place to meet friends and have a drink and food. Don't ever change. Lots of fond memories and lost friends

Beautiful outdoor area with lots of plants, fairy lights, and great outdoor furniture. Can bring along "your little mate" - they even have a catered menu for them! Good food at a reasonable price, too.
