Just had Lunch here... Was so happy with the friendly welcoming service of staff in the restaurant.
I had the Creamy Basil pasta and a side salad... So fresh and delicious. My partner had the Aussie parmi, that was very nice too, but the chips weren't very nice. Apart from that I couldn't fault anything in the facility ??'?😍

Great place for a stop-over if travelling around southern Tasmania. Spacious room with good service and average cost.

I only write reviews if I am unhappy with product or very happy.

Turns out I'm unhappy - ordered takeaway Chicken Parmigiana and have to say it was the smallest Parmi I have seen in my life.

Could almost compare to a 5c coin.

Stayed 5 nights to visit relatives in the area. Huge room that could easily have a King sized bed, lounge and small dining table and chairs.
Immaculately clean and housekeeping were attentive and super friendly. Air-conditioning was good too.

Room equipped with fridge. Microwave, kettle, toaster, utensils, crockery, glasses, dishwashing liquid, wash cloth and teatowel. Extra towels, pillows and blankets too.

Bed satisfactory although a little firm. Two seater sofa bed, lounge chair and two standard chairs and huge TV.
Very happy with room. Not enough parking for all rooms but easy to park opposite side of carpark with provided parking permit.

Negatives: Fridge loud overnight. Traffic noisy early morning. Lots of tradies stsying so leaving early. Not a place to sleep in.
Requested an Upstairs, quiet room at an end. Got Room 2 downstairs with noisy, inconsiderate people above who's child was running around until 11.30pm and riding her scooter along the balcony. One night it started at 1.30am!

Would we stay here again - possibly. Not the businesses fault for inconsiderate and selfish people. But would be good if there was a contact at night for complaints.

Our room was large and spacious and really missed having a dining table and chairs.
It's pretty obvious that these apartments (which are completely separate from the hotel) are used for travelling tradesmen/salesmen etc.
Close to supermarkets and other shops. Horrible views of a water easement.
Not ideal for a tourist travelling around Tassie.

Good location, clean rooms, fantastic customer service. Lost a star due to rooms being not soundproofed.

Food was very average two girls that served us were excellent ??'?

I had dinner at restaurant last night, (13th December 2023).
I ordered and paid for my meal.
After eating my meal I left the restaurant. I was chased down by one of the staff, (named Tileah), who accused me of not paying for my meal. I returned to the counter and told them I had paid for my meal. The 2 young girls checked the till and again told me that I hadn't paid for my meal. I felt degraded and humiliated. I then produced the receipt I was given when I ordered and paid for my meal. I still was not believed. It wasn't until an adult came out and sorted the problem out after looking at my receipt and checking the till. I went to my room and wrote an abridged complaint to the management to which I still have not received a response.
I definitely won't be eating their again during the rest of my stay at the hotel.

On a positive note I can't fault the cleaning staff at the rooms. Very friendly and professional in their duties.

Central location in Kingston, large rooms, simple but adequate amenities. Great value, very quiet.

Very comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Our room #5 has a window which has a broken winder can't be closed and the fly screen is damaged. The refrigerator is a little noisy though the night, none of which would deter me from coming back.

Lovely clean room but no service not even reception . Bar fridge , tea and coffee facilities. Beds comfy. Comfortable armchairs. Could do with some I formation leaflets on what is in the area.

Didn't stay here ... just had a meal.
May I suggest some better, bigger signage directing patrons to the dining room toilets.... 😀

Our stay was ok. Family room was spacious, lots of room for the kids to run around. Rooms were clean, beds ok. Close to shops and a short drive to the beach. Disappointed by room servicing who failed to find/return items left in our room.

Just popped in for a family dinner.

The kids loved the play area while we waited for our meal.
The kids play area included a rock climbing wall, jungle gym, table tennis table, air hockey table and a floor to ceiling chalk board.

Food was competitively priced and every meal was delicious. Finally a pub that still charges pub meal prices!

We hadn't been in over 10 years, having been very disappointed last time we visited. Lots has changed since our previous visit, I'd highly recommend trying these guys out if you have not been for a while.

Nice place with all facilities in the room and around! Great and friendly staff, received support whenever needed. Highly recommend!

Food was not worth what they charge, my steak was disgusting, the fish my family members had was also disgusting tasting old and not "fresh" as claimed. One hell of a waste of money, will never be going back. Not to mention the menu, a cafe would have more options. The seafood basket was nice but for the size of it was not at all worth the $30.00 charged definitely DO NOT recommend this place for family food at all!

I stayed four nights in an upstairs room with a country vista. This hotel accommodation is a little gem and it's a separate dwelling to the pub. The huge rooms (1queen bed $ 1 single bed) are spotlessly clean (the cleaners do a fantastic job; I cannot fault the cleanliness) and the rooms are serviced daily. Bathrooms are modern and the carpet looks fairly new. The accommodation is located in a quiet area.
Channel Court shopping centre is an easy 600 metre walk from the hotel.
Lots of good eateries in the area.
Kingston Beach is 1.2 km away.
A good base for sightseeing.
I definitely recommend and will stay in the future.

If you like snitzel or parmy then you are in heaven... if you want something gf or a steak then you are very limited... food that everyone else had looked and was great... I had to contend with 2 choices... steak or gf pasta... went with the pasta and it was ok...

Nice enough pub with great staff and quality food. The motel rooms are huge. Nice modern bathroom. Couldn't ask for more.

Rooms are great for price. Service in pub isn't recommended. Walked in at 7:30 and refused to serve meals but on webpage says meals shut at 8. In the end we ended up getting served deep fried food only. Younger female was quite rude until manager come into play.
Pretty poor service considering we have been staying here for the past 3 weeks.

Excellent. I lost my wallet staff amazing. After multiple man looks all was good. Had a ripper feed. Pork...tender and juicy plus real mash n vegetables

Excellent service and lovely clean, spacious accommodation that was close to all shops and services . Spent 3 nights here as a base to explore Hobart and Huon Valley/Channel area . Staff were fantastic , very friendly and helpful .

Didn't have a meal there but the accommodation was modern, quiet and a good shower.

Tasty mains and desserts reported by all of our group. The new kids area has a climbing wall and air hockey tables and there is a small space with a chalkboard and toys for younger kids too. A great family space :)
