Great service and atmosphere.
Terrific food. We had the beef Wellington from the specials board and it was superb ??'?.

Absolutely amazing service and food. We had oysters kilpatrick and Thai spring rolls as entrees, mains we had Chicken, avocado and creamy Prawns and seafood plate. It was all very fresh and not over cooked. After a few drinks we decided to have dessert and was not disappointed with the blackberry cheesecake and brownie sundae. Have found our new favourite pub in Bathurst for our next visit.

Fantastic food excellent service lovely atmosphere

A little disappointed with a quick wedges and sour cream. Wedges were to overcooked making them hard to eat. Had to leave some behind and as a rule, I never leave potato behind. Coffee machine not working. Although it was very clean and staff lovely.

We were asking around town where we could get the best pub steak.
Kings Hotel came up over and over.
We arrived on a Monday night expecting it to be quiet.
It was packed. There was a kids birthday party with around 30 people so it was super noisy.
The parents didn't supervise their kids so they ran around the restaurant.
The food was outstanding, well cooked and considering the amount of people there, did not take long to arrive.
Unfortunately we couldn't stand the noise and kids constantly moving around the tables.
We took out desserts home.
Overall it was a great eating experience, however, next time we will sit in the pub.

Very nice pub, would definitely stay there again. Our room was clean and quiet, despite the pub being really busy that night :) the staff members were all super lovely and would also highly recommend to eat there as the food was amazing!!! We had the potato and leek soup from the speciala and then the Surf&Turf with Cajun butter.

Excellent beer garden. Next time I'll stay for a feed too.

So on Saturday 6th March I wasn't in the mood for cooking but really felt like a steak.

Decided to go to The Kings Hotel(1st time) and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I ordered Surf & Turf which came with a Balmain Bug, the steak was cooked perfectly, charred on the outside and beautifully pink and moist, the mash was silky and well seasoned. Sorry I didn't get a photo.

The staff were really welcoming and friendly l, especially Shel, she was delightful and funny.

I'll be going back for sure to try the other GF menu items.

If you can't cook a medium rare steak you should rethink your career, ordered pepper sauce got mushroom , order mash & veg , got chips ,,,,,,,,

Booked a table for two, get there, and there is no table available.
So sat in the Bar, ordered a med steak, came with a heartbeat, and the Surf n turf was the wort I've ever ordered.
So disappointed ??

Pit stop on the way back from Dubbo. Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Despite being a party of 10, nothing was short of excellent. Wife and me shared surf n turf as well as a Guinness pie...both were great!

Midday visit while have a tyre repair done. Nice atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. Not many people here at the moment so service at the bar was instant. Changed quite a bit since I was last in here back when it had the horse shoe bar in the main area. Plenty of various seating arrangements to choose from. Small couples to large groups.

The service was amazing, the staff are extremely attentive to customer satisfaction with the beautiful food. The menu had a wide tantalising range, quite hard to choose cause it all looked amazing. Great food, service and a warm friendly atmosphere

Had a good pub lunch here. The schnitzel was excellent. Garlic bread is worth a pass. Friendly staff. Interior could use a coat of paint etc, but had a nice atmosphere and would visit again.

Had to wait over an hour to get food and it was cold and tough. Staff was nice about it but wasn't a vibe. Frothy tops were good though...

I have been to a fair share of pubs, however, my experience at the Kings Hotel is a memorable one. Every single person working here was incredibly friendly and so full of joy. I ordered the grilled fish with veg and mash and it was fantastic. The fish was cooked to perfection without that greasy ocean taste, the veggies chosen were a great match for the dish. The two ladies who were working in the bistro area were so kind, it really enhanced the experience! It also is on the quieter side without any loud music. Would 100% recommend this place for friends, families, or even dates!

Fantastic pub food, the grilled barramundi was nice and soft but didn't disintegrate on contact with the cutlery. There are a great selection of beers on tap, and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The atmosphere in the pub is very nice and family friendly.

Good food and service. Fairly busy so meals were just a bit slow but not a problem.

No longer a family orientated hotel. Went here with our kids on a Sunday a few months back and there was a play room for the kids which was great. Came here last night (also a Sunday), to be told three different answers as to why the play room was not open this time.

1. It opens at 6pm.
2. 615pm came, not open. Asked a staff member to open it, to be told, we don't open it any more.
3. Another staff member told me it doesn't open on weekends.

Only came here due to the play room as its handy. But won't be coming back.

Great pub had dinner here 1 night was very busy service ans food was good . Went again for drinks in the afternoon a day later loved it

Pork and chive dumplings amazing will definitely get again. Excellent service and a wide variety of yummy food options.

The food is consistent and delicious. Service is great with short waiting times on food. Great atmosphere.

My wife and I were there for dinner last Tuesday.
We have been before as we travel back to Newcastle.
A fantastic meal. We had the Barra and the Morrocon pasta.
Just so good that I am making the time to write a review.

Great place for a nice thick sirloin steak 5 stars service that's second to none well done

Bar staff awesome, super friendly.

Not very COVID-19 safe, no hand sanitizer to be seen, sign in not checked, staff handling loose utensils. Maybe the best pub in town as worn on the staff t-shirts but really not COVID-19 friendly.
