Went here for Father's Day lunch trying to keep business local but unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired, we orders the Lamb open souvlaki which was so dry and had no flavour, the pepper sauce for the steak tasted like it had chemicals in it. The sodas were so flat they tasted like flavoured water and not much service, only when we had to line up with only one girl taking orders for the whole restaurant did someone behind mention they had a Father's Day special on with it written on a A4 piece of paper.
I asked where they got it and they said they found it on a table they passed by. This place looked good but sadly looks deceive.

I recently visited from interstate and unfortunately had a rather disappointing experience. The food was subpar, lacking both flavor and freshness, which made for a rather unsatisfying meal. To make matters worse, the pub had a stench that lingered from the pokies, turns out it was a bloke overdosing. a shame, as the atmosphere and service could have been promising. I hope they address these issues in the future, but as it stands, I cannot recommend this pub based on my recent experience.

Went on a recommendation from some friends. Very disappointed with service and food. Waited almost half an hour to be served despite almost no other customers, food took forever to come out and came cold. Questionable cleanliness for the venue, drinks felt overpriced. Won't be returning.

Awesome service, great food and most of all was cooked perfect and in a quick manner. Staff were extremely helpful and would definitely recommend to anyone local or interstate wanting more than just a club meal but a great dinner with beautiful atmosphere too.

We celebrated my father's 90th birthday at Kealba Hotel. I must say the functions manager Josie was amazing to deal with. She was very accommodating and gave us some wonderful ideas on selection of foods etc.
The day couldn't have run more perfectly with the staff, Tyrah and Sue ensuring that things run smoothly. Promptness and communication amongst the staff could not be faulted.
I personally would like to thank all the staff, and for Josie popping in on her day off, ensuring that things were on queue.
Would definitely highly recommend Kealba Hotel for a function. I know I will be back there.

What a great surprise booked dinner for kids because there is a great play area. We arrived and there was also entertainment "Hold the animals" kids had a fabulous time so did we.

Food and alcohol all great prices and not skimpy on pouring wine as most places are!!!

We have young children and adult children so Will definitely continue going back a favourite place for all the family.

Meals are always good ! some places can be hit or miss but we have come here 5 or 6 times fir a meal with family and friends and everyone has had a great meal. The kids area is good and the kids will spend alot of time in the playground which makes our dining experience easier because the kids are never board.

We had my daughter's christening and it was great for family event with kids. Spacious nappy change tables with toddler toilet, excellent playground, plenty of room around the table. Food was very good. Kids were entertained which made for a relaxing day for parents. Functions manager Josie was very accommodating and understood needs of our big Italian family. She also threw in some extras. Tyra was very thoughtful, pleasant and responsive on the day. Our guests were very pleased and all talked about coming there for future functions. Bistro serves great meals, we have seniors which are a good size.
Always served quickly and the meals are nearly always hot. Prompt service and the table is cleared in good time.
Not over expensive, like everything else prices are increasing. Booking is recommended.

There are things this place do well and there are things they need improvement on.

Upon arrival, we were told that our table did not show up on the system. We booked the Wednesday before over the phone. Thankfully they found us a table to accomodate all our guests.
The food is generally well done. Although, I received a cold meal. The attention to detail needs work. Granted, they get busy and probably are short staffed at times. To provide context we used the QR Code to order, perhaps it would be better to order at the counter to ensure details are correct.

In addition, both cubicles in the male toilets were blocked. I alerted management. Not their fault i suppose.

I hope that this feedback helps in some way.

If you have kids and are planning on coming here for the playground please ensure you stay in the playground with them at all times. My 6 year old daughter was told by a teenager that she is going to bash her and she physically went to hit my daughter. This place has gone downhill and not all but most of the people are completely feral looking. I seen plenty of kids just causing a nuisance and parents or managers doing nothing at all! I will never go back here. Soo many better bistros Sugar Gum etc. Would stay clear of this place!

Thank you Josie xxx Josie was the best host for my dad's wake recently. She was on the ball from the start, even called us the morning of the funeral just to let us know that she was in at work and she would be there every step of the way. The food was brought out in a timely manner and everything was hot! Josie constantly checked in with mum and I to make sure everything was ok, and even just to make sure we had eaten. I can honestly say she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran as we wanted it to 😘😘

Absolutely very pleased with the service in the Bistro tonight from Emma and Ivana. Those two ladies did not stop while we were there. As for Jesse what an amazing Bartender he was on the ball constantly. They were so busy looked understaffed but those 3 ran around like they had skates on. Great work guys.

I had my 60th Birthday on Saturday and I am very happy to say that the whole experience has been amazing. From the day of the booking Josie the event manager was very helpful and accommodating to our wishes in regards to the Menu and setting.
On the night the Meals were very generous and delicious .
The service was amazing and the staff very friendly to say the least.Overall I will definitely recommend Kealba hotel for a function or just a meal out.

Our family went for dinner on a busy Saturday night but didn't book. The lady in charge was so nice and found us a table. (So grateful, as we were all exhausted from moving our daughter into her home). The food was outstanding! Definitely not your standard pub food! 2 of us had the seafood platter...omg! Fresh and succulent and a lovely fresh salad. My hubby had the parmi and it was one of the best he has had. Well done Kealba Hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Recently had a Wake for my brother in a private section of the bistro. Everything was exceptional. Josie who was the organiser guided us through a difficult time with her expertise. The venue was amazing and all staff we encountered where only to willing to help. The food platters were of a very high standard. l could not fault any part of the event. THANKYOU all

Made a reservation in advance. Waited a while to be seated on a 4 person table for a reservation of 5 people. Food was terrible. Soft drink taps weren't working so limited drink choices. Service was terrible. When I saw a staff member approached my child in the play ground and clearly being angry towards him i went over to see what was happening. She was scolding him for taking a video of his brother then demanded to go through his phone, check the videos and delete them. I explained to her that it was inappropriate for her to demand to look through my child's phone and especially without a parent present. There is no signage saying no photos or videos. She was unapologetic my son was shaken as he didn't think he had done anything wrong filming his own brother then being intimidated by an unknown adult to show his phone gallery. Manager didn't offer an apology for how the situation was handled. Absolutely terrible on every aspect. Will stick to sugargum or deer Park hotel where both food and service are great.

The bistro is always a winner when you have children as there is a large play area to keep them entertained. The food is always delicious and generous in size. Ordering is quick and easy and food comes out quickly also.

Had dinner there last night, food was amazing and accommodated such a large group of people. Kids playground was great and keep them entertained for hours. Sports Bar has massive screens which show all live sports up until 5am. Would definitely recommend!!

Attended the Kealba Hotel today for a birthday. . It was a great day. Service was great, considering how busy it was. Food was delicious. Kds room looked lots of fun, kept my children entertained. Jodie was amazing. She went above and beyond to accommodate the late booking. Will definitely be back.

Weekday dinner close to home. A Kid's menu and play area are always nice to give the adults time to relax over their meal.
The food and service were good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Nothing to complain about.

Very busy Sunday. Great family environment and very children friendly.
Staff were very helpful and attentive.

All our food came in sensible time and was cooked well. Had a small issue with my wife's dish but was resolved without a problem. My full appreciation of the guy calling on the pass at the kitchen. Very professional and completely in the zone. Resolved immediately and without an issue. Was made to feel comfortable and that is crucial.

Will I go back? Absolutely!

Had my daughters 21st Birthday lunch. Almost 60 people. Food was delicious. Staff very friendly and special thank you to Joyce for all her help. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend

Food was great. One staff member was less than accommodating. Even when asking if there was a specific flavour of ice cream for the kids which wasn't displayed. Made us choose from available flavours and after we were served proceeded to get the flavour we wanted out from storage. Poor form!

Food was decent, Staff were awesome, Beer was cold, Cocktails were decent and the Pokies paid out. Can't complain about anything. The best feature by far is the ability to order from the table through the QR code provided.

We booked the function area on Sunday 17th July for my sons Holy Communion. I was in touch with the event manager Josie. She was fantastic to say the least from start to finish we were very happy and so were our guests. The food was fresh and delicious so compliments to the chef as well. Highly recommend this venue, clean and still new, lovely staff and great for the kiddies as well.

I have never been happier with a venue for my Child's birthday party. From start to finish, it was so easy and carefree and Josie... what a gem, just a beautiful person who really gave my son the most special birthday party. I was here with my family to celebrate my niece's birthday . The bistro is quite spacious and my kids loved the playground . The staff is so friendly especially the blonde hair girl Emma she is a gun keep up the good work .The food was alright but the steak I ordered was over cooked and I hope they include more varieties in the menu . The bouncer who welcomed us at the front entrance is so polite and friendly even though he looks intimidating with his tattoos and massive muscles he is very down to earth but I wouldn't mess with him still 🤣 . Overall very good service .

Josie greeted us (and all other customers) with a beautiful smile, such a lovely friendly person, her energy is contagious. All staff were so helpful, excellent customer service by all in there, just a lovely group of people! We had a small issue with one of our meals and the staff were instantly helping and made everything better. Great food, excellent customer service, definetly recommend this place.

We had a medical incident while having lunch. Fabulous reaction by staff. Josie so caring. Assistant Manager Emily thank you for dealing with our meals. Our friend had to be transported we were offered a refund on our meals or they recooked them fresh thank you service from the heart.

Enjoyed a meal in the bistro, pleasant service, nice ambience and overall good experience. Would head back without hesitation. Menu should cater to most appetites, plenty of cakes from the desert bar.

What can I say about it If you like a drink and a game it's the place for you or even 😏 for me the car park is decent and can be fun in itself sometimes 🤪 I'm out good day my fine peoples

Absolutely beautiful meal could not fault it. The steak was so tender and the parma was nice as well. Emma you are a beautiful young lady. We will be back for sure very soon.

A range gluten free options available but specify gluten free regularly when ordering. A popular, busy place on the Saturday night we went. Service good, food good.

A suburban pub that has everything you want at a suburban pub. Pretty good bistro with playground for kids n decent pub fare. A big sports bar for all your sports and racing needs. A pokies area. And pub priced drinks. Rough clientele, some shady cats around for sure, but a really decent pub for the area.

The atmosphere is pleasant with a nice cage to keep the kiddies away from diners. The wait staff were very polite and attentive to our tables needs and requirements. They were always found easily rather than hiding away in the kitchen. The food was delightful and tasty. Variety was a little lacking though and some meals came out slower than the rest leaving two diners watching others eat as they waited (the reason for the 4 star instead of 5). Other than that, a wonderful place to take the family for a meal, a bet if they wish, and have a good time.
