Ordered the surf and turf lunchtime Wednesday...so it wasn't busy ...1st off it came out in cardboard box...2nd chips were definitely over cooked and not crisp..3rdly steak was chewy and small cut of meat....4thly two prawns and two sea scallop very small and not worth $36.00 non members price...not sure about Chinese food...but I wouldn't waste my money or time coming back!!

Karuah RSL took me back in time with a delicious prawn cocktail and crispy skinned chicken, followed by a Golden Dream cocktail for dessert. Food absolutely delicious and staff superb.

Great spot to stop for lunch on a road trip. We made the mistake of going to Twin Servos on our way out of Sydney so stop here on the way back. Very clean place. Plenty of parking. Playground on site. Two separate restaurants. Large choice of beer and basic wine. Plenty of space to sit and a great atmosphere

Great feed after a long day on the road. If you're chasing a pub feed you can't go wrong. Possibly one of the best chicken schnitzel's that I've ever had. 4x happy customers at our table. Food was good, beers were cold, staff were super friendly.??

Our go to stop off for lunch when travelling from Port Macquarie to Sydney. Excellent Chinese meals which ate always tasty, generous in portion and great value, particularly the lunch specials. So good are the meals that I am a life member of the club.

Went there for dinner in the restaurant and they forgot my order. I was trying to be polite as they looked busy due to the meat raffle going on. Asked a waitress to check on my order and she also forgot to let me know. Asked for the restaurant manager and he could not even find my order I demanded my money back. Walked out of there very hungry and had to go to Medowie for dinner. So disappointing considering it's local. Won't be ever eating there or recommending it to anyone.

Stopped in for lunch on our way home to Sydney. Friendly staff, lovely little club & really enjoyed our Chinese feed. Will definitely stop there again.

Air conditioning was delightful on a very hot day. Nice Decor and friendly service. However for $16 beef burger lunch, it was less than inviting, as per leftovers on my partner's plate.

Fantastic Asian food! Some of the best with reasonable prices! We had spring rolls which were perfect, honey chicken and Singapore noodles. Would definitely recommend. Friendly, helpful staff too.

This little club surprised us. Especially the food.
It was amazing Ching Tucker...like amazing!
It had a small but still very decent outdoor gaming area, the restaurant was able to buzz us and the drinks were cold and refreshing.
It was even more of a surprise cause the club didn't look like much from the outside but we risked it for a biscuit and were rewarded well.
It was clean and tidy with friendly staff however it could do with a modernisation.

Well done to the little club at Karuah.

This place was BUZZING with people wanting to eat out on a Friday night. We were seated quite quickly despite the fact we hadn't booked. Service was friendly and fast with a varied menu. I had a seafood basket with chips n salad and despite the fact I can't taste right now due to having had Covid, it was very nice given everything was hot and crunchy. My partner had a steak which was cooked correctly to order. We'll be back at least once more, only being here in Karuah 2 weeks. Thanks for the heads up Stuart McPherson, we drank to your memory. Sorry we missed you!

Loved the Chinese food here! Three nights in a row, so tasty and fresh. Downside was the noise when they were calling the raffles, was deafening and sadly, there wasn't the option to escape it.

We stopped there on the way to Sydney and had such a fantastic lunch!
Cheap beverages, fresh seafood, really nice staff. Wonderful RSL that we will be visiting again for sure ??

A great RSL. For dinner we had local oysters (delicious)and a crispy chicken special rice with ginger.

Very friendly exceptional clean, staff well mannered. The restaurant well priced and really good meals yes I will be back.

Even during trying covid restrictions I found the staff to be very helpful.

Went to RSL Karuah because one of my workmates said the Chinese food there is nice. So we went there for lunch. The receptionist was friendly, 5?? for her.

The senior cashier lady at Bridgeview Restaurant was friendly and informative, 5?? for her too.

The 3?? rating is for the food.
We ordered:
1. Hot and sour soup - the ingredients, look and tasted so different compare to Hot and Sour from other Chinese Resto. It has few tiny shrimps in it and thinly slices of onion and carrots. I only ate those tiny shrimps and left the rest.
2. Fried wontons (forgot to take the photo). Crispy fried wonton skin filled with something chewy in it.
3. Spicy salt fried chicken wings.
4. Lunch special King prawns omelette with special fried rice.
5. Steak with vegs and chips.
6. Chicken parmigiana with vegs and chips.
7. Kids' fish and chips.
8. Fish burger with chips.
9. 2 portions of Fried ice cream.
10. 2 portions of Banana fritters with ice cream.

Overall the food are not as good, but they are cheap and good portion.

The only Highlight (delicious and great) is Banana fritters. Sweet banana covered in super crispy batter with light caramel syrup topping, served with ice cream.

I don't think we'll go back just for the banana fritters.

If you are looking for cheap foods with good portions, and don't mind the taste, this might be the right place for you.

Reception needs a bit of warmth and should not be selective on people coming in . Restaurant is OK, as usual busy on Saturday night, young man that works there is efficient.

Great club. Just been renovated. Very sparious. Lots of choices for food. All at reasonable prices. Lunchtime specials. Plenty of parking.

A good place to go, relax and have a drink or two. If you are there for food be ready for a low quality food especially if you are vegan. They have vegan menu and they served all those dishes with eggs in it. When we told them there is a staff advising us that we need to say vegan with no eggs as eggs is vegan!!!! Came to know about a new definition of vegan and a very unwelcome advice.
