This review is on the food. Red vegetable curry with pumpkin, mushrooms and red onions and some slight spices is a disappointment. A half kilo of prawns, while slightly sweet prawns, would benefit from a crusty bread roll, and a small water to wash fingers after peeling the prawns. The small salad with the curry was without dressing, so really just lettuce, tomatoes, red capsicum and slices of red onions. The hotel is old school with a delightful front bar, and a memorial to Johnny Warren, a football legend. The hotel is worth a visit, but the restaurants lets it down.

A golden jewel amongst the green rolling hills. Lovely shady beer garden and love that its dog friendly. Food was great, beer was cold and even other local patrons were welcoming and polite. Have added this to our fav pubs list.

Lovely historical pub to stop for lunch! It had incredible gluten free options including a seperate fryer for the fish, calamari and chips. Everything was fresh and delicious!

Great little historical pub. We stopped in for lunch. I opted for the steak, chips and salad, with my fiance sticking with the rump with veg and potato chats. The food service was quick and both steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking. The veggies and salad were fresh and high quality.

If you love old pubs, classic pub food and some bonus football memorabilia, this pub is a must visit!! Lovely staff and hearty, delicious food - might just be the best pub chips I've ever had. Can't go past a $15 steak deal either! Spent a lot of time marvelling at the impressive Johnny Warren football collection too. Hidden gem!

Nice old style pub with plenty of memorabilia. Reschs and Guinness on tap, so gets extra marks. The place was pretty empty when we were there on a Friday afternoon between 15:00-16:00. Our group got the vibe we were an inconvenience to the young lass behind the bar, with no greeting to welcome, nor any thanks and pleasantries whatsoever. Perhaps she was having a bad day or just prefers locals over the out of towners. Either way it was jarring and a bit of a let down, after hearing great things about the place. We didn't have a chance to eat as we were in between services, however will time things better when we are next in the area, hopefully with some better hospitality.

Hubs and I stopped in there on Saturday for lunch, it was very quiet which was nice. The decorations were very Australian and relevant to the local area. Our meals came out quickly, the serving size was generous, fresh and hot. Recommend the calamari and chips.
The staff were very friendly and we will definitely be going there again.

If you love old pubs, this one is a gem! There is so much memorabilia and historical information inside this pub, you could stay for a week and still miss some detail. The bar staff, kitchen staff and the locals are awesome company while having a few sneaky wines with my hubby. A shout out to Katie who looked after us for hours while we escaped our hectic life, thank you for helping us enjoy our day! We also stayed out back at the Saleyards motel, very clean and comfortable. Great value for money. We will definitely be back!

Food was delicious and nicely priced. Three different eating areas, so plenty of seating. Recommended.

We are locals. We think the pub is an iconic establishment. Great for a drink, but the food is a major disappointment. The menu has not been changed in forever. So in summary, great atmosphere, great for a drink, but wouldn't eat there. Dare I say, it attracts the tourists, but not the locals.

You like old school pubs? Try this puppy out! It's over 150 years old... that's like super old. This pub is the OG, you know what I'm sayin? Can't get more of that old school charm than you can from Jamberoo Pub. Plenty of drink options, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Might be lacking on space, but makes up for it in character.

Great time. Lovely meal. Bangers and mash..... which did not disappoint. I usually stay away from pub bangers but these were superb.... not a smidgen of gristle.
From their website.... One of Jamberoo Pub's best features is its unique "Johnny Warren Museum".

Sunday rainy drive led to a great little pub, no reservations needed for a table for 4. Ordered at 5pm and food arrived 15mins later. Very happy with the experience and will be back for sure.

It feels like going into the past it is a very nice old pub. Food quality 12/10, full of flavour, juicy and really crunchy chips, the beer was great as well. I Got a barramundi burger and it was absolutely delicious, I don't think I can eat a beef burger anymore after this. Nice customer service with good live music and atmosphere.
