I had have lots of steak till now but this steak, with chips, salad, and mushroom sauce, was beyond amazing! Juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor, every bite was a taste sensation. The crispy chips, fresh salad, and rich mushroom sauce just took it to the next level. A meal I won't soon forget. Pub is not that fancy but they got their own brewery inside the venue . menu is quite expensive but worth every penny .

We meet here monthly for a men's group and really appreciate the great service and the atmosphere, which is very much heritage and old school. That said the is solid pub fare and the in house brews are really good!

I was walking around the area on a Monday afternoon, and decided to stop in here for a chicken schnitzel. Sensible choice! I found a nice seat by a large open window where I watched the world go by. I'll be honest, I've eaten schnitties all around the place, and this particular one was fantastic. The chicken was thick and the crumbing had a nice crunch. The salad had a nice mix, with a flavoursome dressing. The chips were crispy and hot - the chips can make or break a schnitty, and these were memorable. Mushroom gravy could be a little bit thicker for me, but I like thick gravy. Of course you get thirsty with such a meal, so I decided to try their Paddington Pale Ale which the gentleman behind the bar said was brewed on-site. Nice flavour, nice work! Had a pleasant chat with the friendly chef and told him I really enjoyed his work. There were some tradies doing work in the back, but it didn't bother me!

An excellent spot for some pregame snacking when you're getting ready to hit the arena for some Footy or other sport. Try the nachos, one of my meds also enjoyed the Wagyu burger.

On a hot and dusty day, stop by for a crispy fish, possibly flathead filets with crunchy chips. Served with a little slaw and salad. A slice of lemon and a sprinkle of sliced red chilli. Oh, and a small tartare . Essential for the crisp fish. Very nice indeed. Or you could stop by when the weather's bad. Plenty of beers to choose from.

Hosted a 21st here recently and could not have been more pleased. The venue, atmosphere, food, drinks and staff were all amazing. Special shout out to Rory who was brilliant. Thankyou Imperial, would highly recommended

My god this place has gone downhill. Came last night before a World Cup soccer game. The pub was reasonably busy. Ordered drinks and then went to order food. Total nightmare around the kitchen, buzzers going off and food not ready. Waited 40 minutes for a plate of nachos. The real kicker though was I noticed no tables were being cleared so I cleared one myself for us to sit at. Took the food plates inside then the schooner glasses. I signalled to a bartender from the back of the bar who was not doing anything and she reluctantly walked over to me. I asked her if we could have our table wiped down and she then wet a chux cloth with water and said "sorry" handing it to me to clean myself... a very confusing experience. Won't be heading back anytime soon.

Not a bad little pub. Meals are decently priced for the area, probably a little to fancy for a pub in my opinion, but they are made well and taste good. There are plenty of beers on tap from the staples to the most common craft beers. Beer prices are in line for the area. Plenty of seating in the front bar also has an alfresco area out the front if that's your thing. Nice industrial feel to the place, appears clean, and the staff are pleasant enough.

Went there for Roast and Red on Sunday. Sunday Lunch special. As always beautifully cooked. Loads of veggies. Superb. Wasn't our first time. Gets better all the time.

We hosted our Christmas party/lunch at the Imperial. The space had character and comfortably fit our group of 100 cyber specialists (the bank we work for still required some level of social distancing). We had the upstairs function room to ourselves, with plenty of seating, our own bar and loads of natural light. We had organised an 'amazing race' before the event and were able to show the shots on the pub's big function area screen, which was a bonus. The food was great, the service friendly and the pub catered for people with dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose intolerant). It was our first Christmas party as a team post Covid. Thanks Amee and the team for being such superb hosts. We'll be back.

Great little pub near the Chauval Cinema and Town Hall to grab a bite to eat either before or after a show or movie. The food is great. We had the pulled pork nachos which was delicious. Definitely returning to have a Sunday roast.

Nice Paddo pub, great for family get-together. Suits kids and adults alike.

Love this pub, one of my favourites! The staff are friendly and fantastic, the managers are super helpful and always help out with any problems. Great rustic, Aussie pub feel, none like it in the area. Also the new kitchen menu is a great addition.

Food only ok.. But have to say the relatively recent interiors revamp is looking terribly tired and dirty! We were there for lunch, and the floors are worn and dusty. The table tops are sticky, so we moved to another table, after it was wiped down, and another sticky table. Every flat surface is covered in dust. All seating run down. Sorry really wanted to like it.

Poor service poorly or I'll trained staff ...ice cream top beers....kid doin laps of the bar on a scooter...it's the publicans kid of course...it's an acquired taste.the pub so not sure how long to warm to the dump but to each their own

Worst steak Ive ever been served. Paid $55 for a dry aged scotch fillet. Their most expensive steak. What was served up was so poor I had to photograph it after one bite. No wonder the wait staff dont ask if you enjoyed your meal!

We held our 2019 work Christmas Party at the upstairs of the Imperial Hotel and it was fantastic value for money. The food was great, and the staff were amazing to work with before the event and on the night. Would definitely recommend this venue for functions.

Whilst visiting from the U.K. I stumbled upon this place and to be honest my best meal in Oz for 12 dollars. I had locally reared pork cooked to perfection and served with a rich gravy and roasted veg.
