Absolute must to visit if you're in the area. The food was incredible and I would highly recommend the steak, but everything our group ordered was delicious. A great selection of beers and wines as well and awesome staff. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, overlooking the famous Selleck's beach. They also have a great outdoor grass area with chairs and picnic blankets when the weather is nice. We loved heading there for a casual drink after our lunch. Dogs were welcome outside too. Awesome view, food was fantastic but the service was not up to the same level as everything else. Some people were fantastic but others couldn't manage bringing cutlery to the table. So a mixed bag. Still highly recommend a visit.

Have been wanting to come here for 20 years!! Lovely location, delicious food, friendly service. The pork and lamb were melt in your mouth and full of flavour. Will definitely return and recommend

We have come here for a few times now. The food is generally quite good, the service can vary though. Do expect to wait a little bit longer, but I would say within reasonable range. Amazing view, worth a go :)

Several of us went for dinner. Food was ok and there was enough of it. Nothing stood out though. Many wines to choose from but they seemed a bit pricey. Beer selection was pretty much the same as anywhere else which I have to say is a bit disappointing given the availability of local brewers. Food service wasn't overly quick but was within an acceptable time. Building itself and facilities were fine and warm. Only gripe is that there was a specials board on the wall which we only saw on our way out. Overall cost was fair for what we had. Would I go back? Yes.

Really disappointing.. I wanted to support local and happy to pay extra for the view & location but will not be going again...this is the seconded time the Victory has been sub standard...I would never complain the first time everyone gets a second chance....
We were Put on a table that was practically on the bar got pushed & shoved by everyone at the bar... schnitzels both chicken and beef were average..: salad was too big nearly half the plate.. waitress had a face like she just lost her best friend. Overall really really disappointing food & service were both very lack lustre

I dined there on Sunday with a large group of people for a birthday. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal. I would have given 5 stars but it took over an hour from ordering to receiving our meals. When we questioned the delay we were told it was because they were fully booked. Because of Covid restrictions the hotel was only allowed 50 per cent capacity so I would hate to think how long we would have waited at full capacity. Bookings were required in advance so staffing should have reflected the bookings. Also many patrons did not scan in and no one was asked to by staff. This I find in our current situation deplorable.

Fantastic food and service and I can say the best burgers I have ever had. Love the location and friendly staff.

Where to start!!! Fantastic service a bit of a wait between starter and main but they were packed so to be expected... Well worth the wait!

Antipasto platter starter was enough for both my wife and I without leaving us feeling full. My wife had duck leg ragout. Fantastic rich full of flavour.

I had salt and pepper squid (mains size).but with veg instead of salad. Still with chips?.
Squid cooked perfectly. seasoning subtle without being in your face. Delicious and tender.
Chips. Not so many that you filled up on them and thin cut so the quantity given was just enough for the overall serving size. So unusual but perfect.

Vegetables. What can I say. Never have I had such a delicious serve of veg. Instead of the usual corn tomato lettuce etc (varies by restaurant but always similar) . It was instead a beautiful serve of blanched snow peas, kale, broccoli chives and beans.

This meal deserved 5 stars... Too bad I couldn't fit anymore in or I would have tried the desert special. Gingerbread pudding..... *Dreamy face*. Oh well. Next time. And there will DEFINITELY be a next time.

It has been sometime since last visited the Victory, but sadly my expectations were let down. Certainly it's a unique location and the vista is it's draw card but the menu and quality of food is very basic pub fare.
Food & wine are pricey, and fare far from being value for money but it's not the food your paying for, it's the location. Wine choice is comprehensive & well stocked , likewise with ales on tap.Staff are friendly and attentive.
Would I rush back to visit? I'm affraid to say I might give it sometime.

Great view and great food for resumable price. Can't beat that! It was my second time but waiters never mentioned about specials meals on the wall. It would be good to up skill the service.
