We had a really excellent time here for a weekend trip to Canungra, our room was clean and tidy. We were moved from our first room to a smaller room due to a mix up but it was still a nice space to spend the evening. Dinner was lovely.

There was a little bit of disruption until 1am with a rowdy 21st birthday party that came upstairs and played music loudly and shouted, but thankfully they stopped after another guest asked them to settle down.

Would definitely stay again!

Just spent two nights here and all I can say is bloody fantastic. Now when you book you need to remember it's a pub and a bloody good one at that. Yes you get a bit of chiller noise and the birds chirp in the mornings but as far as far as great accomodation goes this is up there. The team are great when you check in. Go down for a couple of beers and very clean and tidy at the bar and great service. All in all absolutely fantastic.

Pretty disappointing we had to ask the waitress 3 times for cutlery for our table on Sunday, we chose to sit outside in the beer garden, didnt realise there was a Beer Garden surcharge plus sunday surcharge, then credit card surcharge and when we got our beers which were noticably warm. Pretty disappointing for a country pub.

Big shout out to the staff today, as I\'m slightly disable due to a recent operation, the two girls from the beer garden bar could see that I was struggling they quickly came to my rescue and told me to sit down at a table, then ask me what would I like to drink and eat, so i gave them my key card and enjoyed.
Great service and atmosphere, certainly will be back.

This was the first time we have been to the hotel. I was quite disgusted to find the lady in a chefs uniform taking lunch orders to be continuously wiping her hand up her nose and on her shirt then pants.

When it came time to taking our order we had another young lady do so. Order was placed, I asked the lady what dressing was on the salad and she advised it was balsamic, I asked if I could have extra on the side. We went to line up at the bar to purchase drinks when the same lady in the chef uniform continued to pick and wipe her nose on her hand and rub it on her clothing as she walked past the bar, I was rather sickened by this.

When our meals arrived the chips were cold and hard, the schnitzel was extremely overcooked. I tasted the salad and the side dressing and it was no balsamic, I am actually unsure what it was but it tasted horrible. The kids didn't eat their meals as their fish and nuggets were barely cooked and the batter was sticky. One of the French Parmi's order was without salad and was given with salad to which the staff member said "oh sorry, here".

Meals were removed from the table as staff wanted to clear them, not one mention as to why 4 meals were barely eaten. The amount of money spent and the quality of food and the hygiene at the hotel is not acceptable. Not one greeting when we arrived to be seated at the hotel as we had never been before nor even a greeting went to place the order.

As we were finishing up and about to leave we also notice the roof above us was covered with water damage and mould! Absolutely disgusting.
