A recent culinary adventure to the Highbury Hotel was another great and fun night. The food ranged from excellent to outstanding. My chicken schnitzel, crumbed with panko breadcrumbs, was honestly the best and most succulent chicken schnitzel that I have ever had!
The bistro restaurant is a huge open room that lacks atmosphere. It does become noisy when crowded. There is no table service provided and patrons go to the front counter to order meals and drinks. The food prices are about average for pub meals.
However, the winner on the night was the quality of the food presented and the flavours that the food contained. The food overall was excellent!
