Food is the usual "Flowers" fare with a few inexpensive lunch specials. Service is always good with friendly and efficient staff.

We came on the 2 4 1 deal... Meals were delicious,some of the steaks done more than others,but overall consist was such a busy night it was very yummy and friendly atmosphere...

Great place for good value lunch menu. Not too many places where you can have lunch for two plus drinks for under $40. Well done Hastings Hotel Wauchope.

Lunch today was absolutely beautiful. Thai beef salad had just enough Chilli. The lambs fry and Bacon was tender. Staff very friendly and courteous.

We stopped in for dinner and I had a really nice Thai beef salad. Staff were very efficient and friendly and the environment was family friendly.

Popped in for a meal tonight the 29th December 2022. Absolutely just the best Chicken Parmi I've had. There will be not a crumb left. Can't wait for the next trip through.

We researched places to eat in Wauhope and decided that this is where we would have lunch. The menu seemed good and well priced. When we went to order here was one person to take all the orders and get drinks. She had to leave the area 4 times to ask someone what to do regarding the till. I overheard her tell one customer four different answers to the same question, no wonder he was confused. One of our group ordered drinks at the main bar, only one option for sugar free Coke, only post mix machine orange juice and absolutely no sparkling mineral water. so we had no drinks. When we asked for water at the food ordering counter, they guy working there was clearly not impressed, rolled his eyes and got it without saying a word. Yes there were water tap on the bench but without glasses, pretty useless. To top everything off, we were told all orders from here on will be at least an hours wait. What? it wasn't that busy, most people had or were eating already so... needless to say we walked out.
We were later told by a local that we probably dodged a bullet as the food is mostly average at best.

Food was fantastic, service quick for food except at counter when you wanted a drink. Waitress could learn some manners. Eg what do you want and no acknowledgement when leaving when we thanked her.

Old fashioned country type pub in a nice little town. Spacious and tired inside, yet felt comfortable for us. Eclectic mix of patrons was interesting.
Beer was good, food was as expected, generous and certainly good value on a 2for1 night. Finding the door in was a challenge with most locked and no signs

We had the Tuesday $12 Rump Steak deal, we both had mash and veg, veg was cooked perfectly and not over done, broccolini was still so bright but not too crunchy. The Rump Steak Was perfectly medium rear closer to rear. And perfectly seasoned. The creamy garlic sauce was smooth and delicious.

Service was fantastic, the lady who served us was lovely.

Not a bad pub to have a drink and a slap. But if you plan to head at night, be prepared to wait in line to enter, (not always though) ...Otherwise, it seems clean and kept neat. You'll get service with a smile

Have enjoyed a few dinners in the bistro area. Food is always delicious, very filling, large meals, good prices and lots of options on the menu. Recommend booking as it can get busy. The Bistro area is really nice and updated but the other eating area could do with some work. The noise from the other eating area can get very loud it would be good if they put a self closing door to separate the two areas. They have some good meal deals on during the week.

What a great venue for a farewell lunch with friends. The staff were so wonderful, the specials for lunch so affordable and large in style. Food was top class. Easy to check in. Look forward to another visit.

I was there on Saturday the 24/4/2021 to catch up with family. The beer was flat and wouldn't hold its head the young girl behind the bar with the piercings was so rude. The bar stools are old and worn out. The place looks really run down compaired to the last time I was there about 12 months ago sad really it was a great pub

The beer was cold and the food was amazing. Had a great time....fabulous time. Great country hospitality.

Service was SO SLOW and it was meals coming out of the kitchen. We arrived at 6.30 pm and there were several tables waiting for service. An hour later, a table of 6 that had been sitting there for the whole hour, was served. It seems that the kitchen doesn't serve food out at regular intervals. Rather, nothing, nothing, nothing served and then 4 meals at a time. And not much more than that. Food is okay. Service is woeful..

Well worth the visit if you're travelling through or just live locally.

Unique owner who listens to customers and acts. Great food , reasonably priced. Great wine choice . Friendly service. Noise can be an issue , particularly if big night at the public bar and youve gone out to catch up, or a big crowd at one table. Maybe could open separate room off dining room .
