I had a pint of Peroni beer which I mistakenly placed on wobbly beer coaster. So I broke it on the table spilting it into my iPad Pro and iPhone. It never happened before. Thankfully staff was nice and help cleaning up the mess. Sorry bout this.

Pretty good joint with some great friendly service and fantastic food! The cocktails aren't too bad either!

The Change to the Gymea Hotel in the last year has been amazing. Staff are friendly and reacting positively with new Licensee and Managers. Becoming a great local Pub again.

The pub is looking old and worn out. Needs holes in the walls fixed, repainting, refreshed carpets etc

Thanks for replying, being there on a Saturday night the DJ with retro music got everyone up onto dance floor. Atmosphere was good, food was good, staff were fine always on the move clearing tables serving food and were polite and curtious.

I know it takes some work and organisation to upgrade facilities, keep it going and the pub will be better for it.

Gymea pub is a great friendly local vineyard pub. Great for a beer after work and even better on a Saturday avo for a bet on the tab, a good feed and a slap in the pokies. Awesome outdoor area with a beer and lots of heaters to keep you going on those cold nights. Great service with Good happy go lucky staff who are always down for a yarn.

A nice suburban hotel. Staff were friendly and professional. The bistro was pretty good.

I regularly visit here and the service and vibe is always amazing!!! Very welcoming and family friendly, a place for everyone. Can have the standard steak or parmi but the weekly specials are always an enjoyed excitement. A home meal away from home, minus the clean up ? don't forget the Friday night entertainment after a long week of work with a cold one ?

Thanks to Gary and Miles for their friendly service and beautiful cocktails. The live music in the beer garden was also amazing. It was a family friendly environment with a relaxing nature all around.

Used to live here. It was good then. Unfortunately I can do a better steak at home. I pay you top dollar to get a better steak. Medium is red/pink. I got tough, dry and brown. Could hardly cut it. Customer service was also lacking. Man you sure gone down hill! Sadly

Love your steak meals but decided to order the beef cheeks special tonight - to say it wasn't special is a understatement- flavourless water gravy with a small poor cut of meat that had a nice surprise when cut into... cold in the centre ...more microwaved than slow cooked ...shame cause staff are good and I love the place ... may not be back to eat as I had to buy salt and vinegar chips that I bought from the bar to try and remove the taste of the beef cheeks post meal ?

Wouldn't accept the entertainment book correctly and even the manager was unhelpful. If you don't want to have it and honor it correctly don't go in it. Food was ok but service was average and the prices were too high for the quality. Won't be going back even if they were to have a discount again.

I recently tried the seafood platter with a friend at Gymea hotel and was very impressed with the high quality and freshness of the seafood, generous servings, friendly staff and well laid out beer garden with comfortable seating, screens if you like sport and great lighting. The value for money is incredible. I can't think of anywhere else in Sydney where you can enjoy a seafood tower for $90 and $10 cocktails! The specials menu looked great as well. There was a great live band and people were up dancing. What a find !

We had a nice, quiet lunch here last weekend. The place was empty, with only a few diners. When we walked in, their friendly staff greeted us and were keen to make us feel welcome, which is always a nice.

The tables had a barcode so we could scan through the menu and order on our phones. I hate to say it, but I love doing this as it's so convenient and it's the best when you have a fussy toddler clinging on to you.

The steak menu was a little pricey for a local pub, but they did a great job with cooking it. Our recommendation would be the seafood platter! At $90, it's absolutely a big bang for your dollar!

You get a mouthwatering tower of fish, chips, prawns, oysters, crab legs, and bugs. Why are they called bugs? that doesn't sound appealing, but they were delicious here!

When we went for a little walk around, we saw they had carpark on their site. How convenient! We'll definitely be back! Also loved how every single staff was helpful, attentive and seem to enjoy their job!

Nachos with cheese melt from a bottle my be easier to flog out of the kitchen.
But I prefer you put the price up enough to do it old school.

I was there at lunchtime today, had the $15 steak with chips & salad as one of the weekday specials. Like most pubs that was ok, but was surprised that a standard beer ordered at the same time came to $9.20. I asked the barman if that was right, and confirmed. While I was waiting I checked the beer prices from the QR code app on the table, and saw the price (150 lashes) is $7.20. I can only assume they're slipping in a $2 surcharge on the beer for the lunch 'special' if you aren't paying attention, which is not on. Beware.

What a fantastic venue, very comfortable relaxed atmosphere to meet friends and fsmily. Very well established set up & great for all types of entertainment, watch your favourite stops and live events, sports bar has heaps of screens and the restaurant/ bistro is fantastic and great value. Right up there as the best pub in the Shire.

Head chef is producing some great food at the moment. Great place to have dinner and a beer

EDIT: I came back and gave it another go! Bumped up my review from 3* to 4*. Great lunch spot when you can get a spot in the beer garden on a warm day when the cricket is on. Hawaiian parmi did the job - great price.

Just amazing, so so happy with our experience on Tuesday night... The manager & the gaming attendant on Tuesday night were so friendly, really happy with my experience! My friend had her drinks spilt by someone on her top & they replaced her drink for free & also gave her a top to wear! Cannot recommend them enough, thank you so much for your help! We will definitely be back

Omg is used my favourite place to go and today I wouldnt believe I what I have been serve The garlic bread is was sloppy and the parmigiana is was so small. The chips taste old. I cant believe it. The ladys look rough no customer service whatsoever. To have is good. Food is horrible

I don't like that you can't take away food you've paid for.

It's not a bad pub. But at a pub you expect a good bangers and mash sausage. The sausage was worse than Coles/Woolworths basic sausages. I wonder if it had any meat in it. And another downside was the the outside area where they put the kids is right next to the outside smoking area... The kids were inhaling secondary smoke all night
