My friend and I both ordered rump steak with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
Service was great, the waitress was prompt and polite and the meal came quickly,
The steak was so tender it melted in the mouth, the mash was lovely and the vegetables were firm and for once, not over cooked.
Will definitely return!

ReaL nice hotel and restaurant. I've ordered a Block beef burger meal. Filled me up and didn't drain the bank account either.

Worse food ever.Travelled from Newcastle to try the new restaurant. Everything was over cooked, wings,snitzel, croquettes,pork belly. Wings etc out of a packet. Dipping sauce was also terrible and runny.

I didn't dine here so could not give a review for food but the accommodation was excellent! The whole hotel has been refurbished and they have done an excellent job. My Queen Deluxe room upstairs was facing the main road but there was very little traffic noise as the windows must be double glazed. The bathroom was very modern and the bed was super comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for accommodation. There is a very generous parking area with easy access

Excellent customer service,the room spacious,neat,tidy,modern. We did enjoy very much, close to transport, amenities and an affordable price. The food in the restaurant was nice and tasty.Highly recommend it

Great hotel! The room was very clean, fresh and beds were super comfy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had delicious food with generous servings and provided alternative milk coffee.

Restaurant looks beautiful, food presentation is good, the taste is just very average and quite missing some inspiration. We had the pokebowl and the chicken burger.
The standard room does not look like the pictures you first see when booking, it is also very dark inside the room. Good enough for 1 night.

November 12 king studio was near front entrance and main door clanged til late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. My daughter and family were in family suite with no air con in kids room and air con in main bedroom dripped all night! Window would not open and no lighting apart from two bedside lamps!

We had dinner downstairs in the adjoining Grand Hotel which was very convenient after traveling all day.

The hotel was extremely neat and tidy. It looked like it had been recently refurbished. The bed were comfortable and super well made - thanks to the Housekeeping team! This will be our go to place in the central coast.

Sorry guys, but had to give you 1 star for the fact that our room and bathroom and also my friends room had mold. Not cool. But maybe you don't know that mold is a serious health hazard? I could smell the damp, musty mold as soon as I walked in. The bathroom doesn't have enough ventilation and the smaller room with the skylight had serious condensation when we arrived late in the evening. No amount of painting over it is going to get rid of it either because I noticed there is water damage. Besides this extremely serious concern, the beds, towels, and other amenities were great.

I had lunch in their restaurant with a group of friends and most of us found the food tasty. My veal scallopini was not hot enough but tasted good. The smell of stale cigarette smell in restaurant was very strong, not good at all. Don't think I would go back again because of it sadly.

Good rooms for your basic needs, only issue was the front door, major gaps so anyone talking or yelling (in our case) you can hear everything they're saying loud and clear while trying to sleep. I must commend the cleaning man probably the highlight of the stay, genuine and helpful.

Was just passing through and found this neat little place in a good location; literally close to everything.

Room was clean and functional for me as I spent most of my time at work and just came back to sleep.

The onsite restaurant is a good convenience.

Would recommend.

The Grand Hotel ? Wyong is situated opposite the transport hub featuring trains ? buses ? & taxis ?. It is also a short walk ???? over the railway overpass to the entrance of Wyong racecourse. The Hotel itself his historic which suggests the charm of the past but @ the same time is fully modernised with recent renovations. It features a great dining room experience & a nice beer garden. Pool ? tables are available in a large & well appointed section of the main bar.Long term studio accommodation is available in new rooms. The staff are welcoming & friendly which all adds up to a very enjoyable experience ?.

Fantastic customer service. The bistro food was sensational!!! Accommodation was very clean and fresh. We will definitely be staying there again.
We accidentally left a phone there, and reception rang us and have posted it back to our house.

Highly recommended accommodation. Easy access with plenty of off street parking. The room and fixtures are modern and spotlessly clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. AC very quite and works well. All the staff are happy and helpful which really makes you feel welcome.

The continental breakfast was very nice and the cappuccino was even better.

Will definitely be staying here again. Well deserving of the five star rating.

For a 3? hotel this is a very good place to stay I got a great price..

The bed is a tad lumpy. Rooms somewhat small if you plan to entertain, however they are very cosy with everything you need..

Not value for money. Had a very poor experience here. Rooms are congested and not well cleaned. There was no housekeeping service in the days I stayed. We cut short the stay early. For what its worth, the staff were very polite and the location is easily accessible. Hence the 2 stars.

We brought two groups of 13 seniors to the Grand Hotel for lunch on Tuesday and Thursday this week. The all raved about their meals and the service. The menu had something for everyone. They were also impressed with how quick the meals came out. I was also grateful that they were able to accommodate the group of 13 on the Thursday since I forgot to book. Rooms are nice and spacious. The only thing I can pick was the lighting in the room is not sufficient. It only has a lamp for the entire room.

Had a very pleasant lunch here. Food and wine were great and the server was a delight not only did she look after us very well but she was cheerful with a witty sense of humour. Thank for an enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back soon

Went for lunch, the meals were huge and very delicious, the sticky date pudding was the best Ive ever had!! The waitstaff were so nice and accommodating couldnt have asked for better service... Totally recommending to all my friends

Not a bad place but just a couple things: lack of towel rack/holders in the bathroom and lack of proper lighting. With the only lights being the one in the toilet and a lamp light to light up the bedroom, it's pretty dim. Another small thing is the TV remote is not the right brand so a lot of the buttons don't work. But the room is tidy and bed is comfy. Nice desk and clothing compartment

The Room, and the Food excellent.Except no coffee avail In bar or pokey area after 8.15 pm!!! Not good and bar staff very untrained for wine, spirit suggestions?? Need proper training on products and services. Even though politeness is a good thing there should be more improvement in selling instead of watching TV at the end of bar
