Food was phenomenal, was a busy night as there was a live band playing so took a little while but was well worth the wait. Everybody completely finished their plates and full of compliments. Highly recommended.

Finally got to their legendary Mongrel challenge with the competitive eating crew. I went for Fish burger which I fell in love with the moment I set my eyes on it and I said I really want to sink my teeth into it. This I was told is a seasonal special.
I was blown away by the freshness of the fish by how flaky it was, the burger buns was nice and soft and the salad was fresh. I enjoyed every moment doing this challenge. Thank you to the team for their hospitality.
They have the most artsy toilet seat too!
I love to come back and take on their next seasonal special.

This charming old hotel was our halfway stop for lunch on the trip back to sunny Coast from Rockhampton. It was quite busy but our wait for our meals wasn\'t too long. We sat out in the carriage way on the high top tables with a lovely breeze. I really liked the curry of the day by their nepalese chef. Drinks were reasonable prices too. Will definitely be our stop next trip!

Suddenly as I entered the door the chef served up a (PETER\'S CLASSIC CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM) for a great deal too! But as I went to take a bite a very hungry caterpillar snatched the ice cream from my hand, and soon enough he had finished it in one bite! So I asked for a new one. But it was too late the very hungry caterpillar had already eaten them all!

Staff and management are super friendly. Atmosphere is great. Facilities are awesome amd clean. Drinks very well priced especially spirits. I was travelling from Brisbane to Yeppoon so I\'ll definitely stop again on my way back through.
