The dining room was barely quarter full yet we waited over 50 minutes for our meal to arrive. When we asked about them the young woman went to check and then came back to say we were the next ticket to be cooked. It was still another 10 minutes before we got our meals. We had to eat them in such a rush as we had to be somewhere else after dinner.

We all enjoyed our meal yesterday. Food , presentation and service was very good compared to our experience a month ago we debated whether we would go back. Happy we gave The Gokf House another chance. We will be back next month.

Beautiful venue with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The only downside for our large group was the acoustics in the Walker function room. The high ceiling and hardwood floor creates a beautiful space, however, it also makes the room quite loud and echoey. Conversation was quite difficult at times, particularly for some of our older guests. There was no background music, so it was purely the way sound carried in the room. With some sound-softening additions, this would be an outstanding space for group events. We will happily return.

We had a function there at the Golf House hotel following a Memorial Service and we could not fault them in any way.

It was in the late afternoon but nothing was a problem.

The food was great and plentiful and the bar service was excellent!

I can not thank the Golf House enough!!! After the funeral home forgot to organise the wake after the funeral, I rang the golf house and they quickly went into action. Organised platters bar service tables the works! This was all done in under half an hour!
Samantha you were so kid caring and understanding when I rang thank you so much for making it easier for us to talk to and arrange without judgment or any frustration. .
To all the staff including the legendary chef, thank you for your understanding, patience and support. Everyone has been wonderful. Xx
