Old fashioned pub. Cold beer and friendly service.

Friendly staff hotel in a great location very noisy the facilities not clean (and not enough 10 lockable toilet for 30 or 40 people) the beds were uncomfortable.

The rooms are clean and the staff are very freindly pub rooms at pub rates.

Best pub in town clean rooms and cold beer . The owner can be a bit rude but the rest of the staff make up for him . Well worth a visit .

Travelling through on a business trip I stopped late night for a room, I'm not sure how often females stay here independently but the staff were both friendly and helpful.
Going out of their way to find a suitable room for me. The effort didn't go unnoticed thanks so much.

Ordered lunch, $15 for a 2 course deal (lunch and desert).

Waited for about 1/2 hr and still no lunch. Decided to enquire about our lunches and the chef didnt know it was ordered as there were two people operating and the other did not inform the chef.
Anyway, chef got onto it and prety quickly our lunches arrived and they were great!

Halfway thru the chef came out and asked if everything was ok and to offer his most sincere apologies and offered us $5 each meal refund !
We said dont worry, the gesture was enough.
Then deserts came out and they were great too.
Pretty hard to go past a good meal and desert for $15 !

Well done fellas and apology accepted. We will go back!

I have taken my family here many times for lunch, and I am never disappointed. I am now a member of the staff here. I work behind the bar and in the kitchen. Bart and Gale are the owners, and they are lovely. The staff are all new, and all very friendly. The locals are polite and always up for a chat! The food is fresh, and the beers are cold!
