Great food at reasonable price, karaoke was lots of fun with other patrons aswell.

Maybe your chef needs to learn about all the different seafood that he serves.

Menu stated Lobseter on Saturday night, yet I received 1 1/2 Morten Bay Bugs.

Mentioned it to the lady when I received my meal and she just laughed and walked off.

Tonight was a disappointment. Ordered the Shepherds Pie and what I received was a mushy dish resembling pasta sauce with vegetables with little to no meat covered in mash potato. The chef needs to understand what a traditional shepherds pie is if are going to advertise it as such. If I wanted a pasta sauce I would have ordered pasta

The kitchen could do with improvement here. They seem to have a standard cooked chicken block which is thrown into multiple dishes.

I had what was described as a "chicken and vegetable pie" on the specials board. Now my idea of a pie is something cooked in a pastry crust. If you're going to serve a pot pie you should say so. But in this case what I got was a sad dish of the aforementioned chicken pieces swimming with a few vegetables in a cheesy sauce at the bottom of a pie dish and instead of anything resembling a pie crust on top there were two round pieces of what seemed to be filo like pastry just popped on top that shattered into a million flakes as soon as you put knife or fork to them.

The roast lamb was good I'm told but many of the accompanying vegetables were barely cooked at all.

Nice and clean . disappointed in my dish/order. Fish and chips, the portion would just about feed an infant. Next time, I'll order a parma.

Visited the Glenroy RSL last Thursday night and had a great meal in the Anzac Cove dining room. It was relaxed, very busy with a great old fashioned aussie vibe. The meals are reasonably priced with a huge variety, seniors menu and specials board. I hope to return again.

The food is very nice and quite filling

Staff are friendly and well mannered. The bistro staff like Scott who served us, is an absolute delightful young man

Average is how I would describe the venue. I ordered a steak and explained I was a celiac and rejected the bread roll etc only to discover that whilst I was ordering my drink they put some on my table anyway.

Great food at reasonable prices. Pretty busy always a good sign. Friendly staff. Clean dining room and amenities. Air con was a tiny bit too cold. I'll go back!!

Glenroy RSL is a very nostalgic place to visit. It has an old world charm and classic dishes are served there. It also has a reasonably quit atmosphere where you can have a drink and a chat. You can also gamble if you wish with the comfort of a free coffee. You can become a member and enjoy reduced prices on meals and a free meal and drink on your birthday. Lovely.

With full respect to our comrades I state Glenroy RSL is worth a look, worth a stay, worth a return and worth becoming a regular!!!

The service - fabulous workers who can handle it when there's lots of patrons

The drinks - standard to high end standard and spot on - this pub serves its customers well!

The food - gorgeous, textbook pub meals that do not lack.

The clientele - locals that know how to get the job done - there's even a pool table here and a game challenge will be heard!

The gaming - a lingering high energy in the room yet a peaceful calm while we swim this ocean

As someone who used to live near this venue I highly recommend Glenroy RSL - I still come back from other side of city!!!

Such a friendly greeting when arriving and staff are only too happy to assist with dinner seating arrangements with unannounced guest following after a funeral nearby. The whole building is very clean and tidy. The meals are very good and reasonably priced.

A little disappointed with meals. Had Nasi Goreng. Tasty, three large prawns but chicken pieces dry. My husband had chicken with cheesy sauce. Chicken also dry.

Went for dinner with a large group. Was one of the first to order in that group. Everyone received their meals and thought it was weird we didn't have ours. When we asked a staff member she asked in the kitchen. She told us they had lost our order ticket and walked off. We had to chase her up to find out what happened with our order. They lost our ticket so just never made our order. We had to ask for a refund, which the staff didn't know how to process. I asked for a follow up the next day from the manager and never received a call. Terrible customer service, can't comment on the food as we didn't get any.

The venue is to small for the location. Better off going anywhere else in the area. Well overdue for an upgrade. Food is fine service is fine just way to small for the people who arrive

Great food and friendly staff. I've been here many times. Never disappointed.

Staff were great, very friendly. The cleanliness of the restaurant however was extremely bad. The floor looked like it hadnt been vacuumed in weeks and the tablets were sticky with some covered in food bits. The food was ok, 50/50 based on what we ordered, some good some really bad. Im a supporter of RSLs in general but wont be returning here

Pokies is fun when you're winning. Cool place though with lots of machines. Nice place when you want to go for a punt.
