Popped in for dinner. We were able to snag one of the last tables without a reservation. Ordered via the QR code right on 5.30 pm, and our drinks and meals were delivered in under 10 minutes.
The Barramundi Fish Tacos were absolutely beautiful, and I would happily order again.
There is a female singer playing guitar, and her voice is AMAZING (13/09) Wonderful atmosphere while we eat.

We had a group of 40 booked in at the restaurant at the Glen Hotel. The wait staff were exceptional - special mention for Kenny (?) who patiently took all the orders, and had our group happy throughout the evening. The other staff were lovely too. Would recommend the Glen for gatherings in their beautiful semi-private dinner space, that made it special and private enough for our event. Thank you.

Haven't been here for a while so they have made a few changes, all positive. A few different dining places to choose from which are great. Food was good ðŸ' as well as the service. They even have a donut and coffee bar which is cool!

The staff at the Glen Hotel were exceptional! They were always accommodating and nothing was a problem. My son's 18th was held at the Lily Restaurant, they allowed me to arrive early to set the scene and the rest of the evening went exactly to plan. We came here for dinner and enjoyed it immensely from start to finish. The service was timed perfectly, we neither had to wait too long to be attended nor were rushed at all...and it was a fairly busy night. The entree of crispy pork belly was an amazing combination of flavours and cooked to perfection, and I especially enjoyed the monthly special for dessert, which was the poached pear. I ordered the gnocchi for the main course which was also quite good, and my husband really enjoyed his steak. The selection of beverages was also very good. Finally, we love the location, as we live in Logan and it's closer to go here for a nice evening than to the city. It has a nice atmosphere and we would definitely come here again.

I have been many times, and always enjoyed the meals and service. The venue is modern and the facilities are clean.
I ordered the brisket and a margarita cocktail. All I can say is, if I was about to be put on the electric chair, I'd die happy with my last meal choice! The meat was perfection, and the flavour in the jus was rich and delicious. Not one thing left on my plate. 😋

A beautiful way to spend my son's birthday with some friends and family.

A really lovely atmosphere and the play area is such a grab. The deck was setup very nicely and the live music was really nice; not overpowering and conversation could continue easily.

The food and drinks were delicious! Definitely looking forward to returning for another meal.

The few times I have been was good. This time was not. I ordered my lunch at 11.30 on the dot. After wait staff coming around trying to give me something I didn't order 3 times and seemed confused every time. A hour later I eventually got what I ordered after the table I was sitting with had well and truly finished all their food.

My partner and I ate at the Lily Restaurant at 6:30pm on a Friday night.

The venue was crazy busy, with people everywhere. Even with a packed venue, the staff were incredible. The wait staff and even the security guards were all extremely polite and helpful. Shoutout to Kerry in particular who served us throughout dinner.

Making a booking over the phone was a pleasant experience, staff went to great lengths to provide a wheelchair accessible table. Service was exceptional throughout the whole meal and drinks orders we placed. Food was well prepared and friendly staff

Came here for dinner, great food and service, I had the rump steak which was good quality meat, cooked perfectly (med rare) with nice charring on outside. Chips were great, mushrooms sauce was fairly good. Salt & pepper calamari was fresh, tender and perfectly cooked. Also a nice spacious venue with a good atmosphere . . . Definitely recommend this place!!!

We enjoyed the evening of the 160th birthday of the Glen Hotel. Service was excellent! Tamika (Mika) made us feel very special with her comments and constantly remembering our names. She was a joy! Food was lovely - all 3 of us had pizzas. Very fresh and tasty. To top it all off, as it was a special occasion for the Glen, there were even fireworks to finish the evening with. Very enjoyable night!

This venue makes for an excellent meeting place for leisure or business. Country setting in the daily hustle. There are different rooms on the restaurant side, so you can choose between a patio setting or maybe something a little more formal inside. Service is great. The restaurant is well kept and tidy. There is also the hotel on the opposite side. Great venue for a Sunday lunch or just a cup of tea and catch up.

There were 11 friends to diner on Friday night at the Lily Restaurant. The food was very good and enjoyed by all. The service from the young waitress that served our table was excellent. Not only was she efficient and polite but she also had a great personality and was easily able to engage with each of us. I will return to the Glen and certainly recommend to friends.

Tuesday night wood fired pizzas sitting outside in the court yard. Lovely ambience. Was not too crowded (probably because it was cold). Food came out promptly. Did not use the rooms but the venue was clean, tidy and well presented.

Been there couple of times before and was nice but yesterday we booked in the Lily room and was beautiful!
More like a restaurant than a pub... table service, good table and lovely atmosphere.
Pizza is the best and pizzachef Alessandro is amazing!
One of the best pizzas in Brisbane (I'm Italian so trust me!)

This was a fantastic place to eat! The pizzas are fantastic and the food came out really quickly. There's a great playground for the kids and the atmosphere was warm and casual. My son absolutely loved the ice cream choices too. We will definitely be back.

it's nice for party and big group gatherings with kids. However, too noisy and crowded for any quiet chat or catch up with friends. One could hardly hear the others.

However, the food is a bit over priced, a plate of carbonara pasta cost $29 which nothing to rave for and.....taste so so and my partner ordered a fried chicken burger, it was just average!

So, i won't go there unless friends wanted to go!

Awesome family restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed every plate of food except for the lobster and prawn sliders. They could do better with that. The service from everyone was top notch, food and drinks came in a timely manner but then if we wanted dessert we had to go order from the ice cream bar ourselves. Thought that was a bit inconvenient and could be handled better. Other than that it was absolutely great!! 😊

I'm not normally one to complain and I always enjoy myself but cutting off a 55 year old lady from drinking for no reason and if I don't drink your glass of water I'm getting you removed from the premises. Look around little power head kid you have no customers. It used to be a good no problem bar my kid has worked at now they just power head little upstarts. Good luck keeping your job if no customers girl.

It was very nice in the Lilly room.
The only thing that was a downer was one of the guests didn't enjoy her Gnocchi and she eats it a lot, she said it wasn't very nice and also it did come out before our garlic breads, a main shouldn't come out before your appetisers . Just something to look at for you guys.
But overall a wonderful night was had by all. Please pass onto your staff what a great job they did. Thanks

I attended a birthday lunch. The food and service were great. But the reason I'm writing this review, and giving 5 stars, is the zero alcohol drinks offered. I've never seen such a selection. The strawberry daiquiri and the passion fruit mojito were fabulous! Beautifully made and delightfully garnished with dried lemon and flowers! My husband enjoyed the Heineken Zero. Well done on so thoughtfully catering for non-drinkers.

Fabulous food as always.
The wood fired pizza is amazing - even the gluten-free base.
Ribs are fab and excellent value for money on ribs night.
Service is almost always great.
Very happy to see live musicians coming back to the deck too.

Possibly the most successful pub in Queensland. Always packed but they are obviously doing something right. Huge venue but great place to go if you're with a small or large crowd. Not the place for a quiet night out. Always looks immaculate and like the owners care.

Can recommend the 180g rib eye fillet here.

The salt and pepper squid was incredible and cooked perfectly. The wait staff did get a little annoyed that our table ordered staggeringly, and by the time the last person came up they were a little snappy.

The outdoor seating area had a great ambiance to it, with some fairy lights and lots of tables and seating.

We went here for a family catch up on a Thursday night, which happens to be Rib night, the boys at our table got the huge serving of ribs. Which came with sauce, salad and chips. I got a pizza, a burger was ordered too. All of which was delicious and massive servings. This place is awesome for families with young kids as there is a pretty fun looking place area. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I've been here twice now, and both times have been so great!! I've received my food and drinks within 5 minutes of my order. The seating areas are all lovely with options for shaded or sunny. The kids playground is amazing. I've only been for breakfast, but I'm definitely going to come back for lunch and dinner! I really appreciate the effort that the staff take for it to be adult and child friendly. A++++

Only had good experiences with The Glen. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant has many areas and the kid section is the best. If you call in advance and book a table close to the kid's playground, you're set to enjoy your night out.
Food was always good. Did not have anything to complain about. Had pizza most times which was a good bet and the burgers were spot on too. Tasty, good looking and making you want more. If you're really hungry, probably go with pizza. It's big enough. Plenty of drinks to choose from and price wise is like any other place. Not cheap and definitely don't have to sell a kidney to get a drink. A place to come back anytime. Keep up the good work people at The Glen!

Family gathering for birthday. Most central to us spread across BrisVegas. Location and construction work (perhaps due to recent floods) only bad points.

Service great, food amazing, everyone loved their meals, kids area close and imaginative.

Can also accommodate functions, business needs and accommodation. Would go back for the food.

It's was ok. Good area for kids to play, a couple or bars to choose from and wide mid range food menu. Has its own pizzeria and dessert bar which are nice touches. Good set up for families however I wasn't blown away by value or atmosphere. 3.5 out of 5 🍻

The service was awesome. Waiters and waitress were super friendly. The food was fabulous, we had salmon and chicken,really juicy. Say no more, we will come back again!

The venue itself is very well laid out. Didn't really have much time to explore the place a bit more but the service the quick and the food was tasty as expected. Good parking space, welcoming sitting area and a little playground for the kids..

From the minute you walk through the doors, the hospitality and service is warm, friendly and attentive making you feel right at home. Room was gorgeous, with a special touch for our birthday celebration. Enjoyed late lunch and more fabulous hospitality at dinner with a stop off at the well equipped spa inbetween. The owner is a breath of fresh air with his warm hearty laugh and attention to detail. The staff are like one happy family and you are made to feel comfy and welcome from the beginning of your stay till the very last. Can't wait to return!

Had high hopes with the reviews provided but boy were we disappointed! We had made a reservation for a large group for a special occasion. We had arrived to then be told someone was at our table so had to wait for it to be available.. to later find out that we only had one table for us to gather around as they had seated other guests at the other tables that were supposed to be reserved.
As more of us arrived they added an extra little table as we couldn't physically fit on the one provided. Luckily for us the amount of people we originally booked for didn't all show, so after the additional table it was bearable.
The online ordering system is so flawed. The idea behind the QR code is cute and most meals arrived however a couple were marked as delivered to table but never made it to the table, leaving some of us to eat after others had. When some ordered drinks they had a staff member come over and double check our table to see if it were delivered.
Staff didn't seem to care, weren't apologetic or quick to deal with any situation we faced. Not sure if this is due to the lack of training or experience but enthusiasm and empathy would have put light on the situation.
In the end the food tasted pretty good, however since eating a number of our group have spent the remaining of the evening in the bathroom.
I hope to think this isn't an experience anyone else has been through. I personally don't recommend this venue for large events, especially special ones as it was most unorganised.

My partner and I dined in last Wednesday, and were absolutely delighted with the service we received throughout the night by each staff member! Especially by a staff member of the name Daniel who was a very happy, energetic, cheerful worker (who also knew how to make a great cocktail) his service throughout the night made mine and my partners evening! He definitely deserves recognition for his outstanding efforts!!! My partner and I will definitely be back, and hope to see him around!!!!!

We booked a table for 20 people and an extra 12 people called the day before to come, I called and spoke with Michelle who was amazing and told me to leave it with her.

The day of event was amazing I was introduced to Michelle my saving grace and was showed our tables this great lady was able to get us all in all 32 of us and more came after that too, we where introduced to a waitress called Kylie, nothing was roo much for this lovely lady, very helpful orders done with ease, cleaned tables quickly, she is an amazing waitress guys give that lady a pay rise she is worth it, I work in customer service and she is one of the best I've seen in many a year.

Cannot praise you guys enough for making my husbands birthday special, anyone that sees this post please make sure you book the glen for any parties they where fantastic food was great to boot. Well done chefs.

Stayed 3 nights. Clean, spacious rooms. Awesome salt water pool & gym. Close to freeways. Breakfast cafe, great food & coffee. House keeping staff a credit to The Glen. They found a ring which Id lost. Front of house staff are helpful, friendly and approachable.
We'll definitely be back to stay whenever we're in Brisbane again.

Was a really nice stay, lovely accommodation and friendly staff. Couldn't recommend this place enough. The restaurant/bar was also really nice and spacious and had these Water Dragons running around all over the place, during the day. Was a cool bonus.

Quite pricey and very crowded this time of the year.Make sure you book ahead if you want to sit in a particular area. Otherwise head to the area below the smoking area and there is usually a good chance of getting a table.Accessibility parking, toilets and seating is provided.Weddings are beautiful here in the gardens.Apart from the price of food - more restaurant prices than pub prices - is a great place to go to for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Food was excellent, good service and wonderful staff HOWEVER the choice of table when I made the reservation was very, very poor. Besides the table being too small for the 4 of us it was like we were sent to the naughty corner! The restaurant wasn't even full so I don't understand why we were given that specific table next to the waiter's working station?! I regret not requesting another table then, as soon as we arrived, but given that it was quite early I thought the restaurant was going to be full in no time.

Wasnt expecting much when I booked a weekend stay for some quiet time to attend an online course. I was pleasantly surprised by how new the rooms were. This hotel even has a small pool for lap swimming and a mini gym. Raj was really helpful and friendly. Somebody give this gentleman an award for best employee.

Table booking mixup had us waiting for over 45 minutes to be seated. The staff however did a great job attending to us the whole time and when we did get our table the quality of the food spoke for itself. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming and the food was amazing but the real winner here are the staff! They clearly love working here and that shines through to brilliant service. Good work The Glen Hotel!

Great steak with the super tender city rib fillet. The staff were also reals nice and helpful. 6 stars for them. The kid area is also quite enjoyed by the kid and kids. And they got the beer so all in all very good and excellent and good

Great food and vibe. We sat outside which was perfect. They have really good pizzas which they make in front of you. The portions are generous. They also have an extensive wine list for those who love wine.

very enjoyable couple of hours. great staff. and won $250 on the pokies. a great night. on this night we had ribs. absolutely tender and delicious.
a week later. calamari was gorgeous. but ribs were sad to say, tough and inedible.
