Great place to take the family, but unfortunately our food was terrible 31/07/24 the chicken Kiev was that dark with a light burnt flavour and hard to cut, looked like it had been reheated in the deep fat fryer, the salmon wasn't any better, the outside was very dry, we also bought a jug of soft drink, $24.00 that is ridiculous price for post mix, the grand kids meals were good.... Loved the atmosphere, the staff were really good too and the kids enjoyed the play area, just need to fix the food... in hindsight we should of sent the meals back

Went for dinner with friends and all our children and I must say this play space was top tier. We barely saw our kids for the whole hour and a half. There's a little chill space with TV if they want some quiet time, big slides, climbing frames, monkey bars etc. it was fabulous!
The meals were also great and well priced.

The service was very friendly and professional. Liv was very nice to my family as was all the other staff members. The food was a hit and the place itself is so cosy and relaxing we went back the following day.

Amazing food, but be prepared to wait for it. Kids meals out super quick but quite a wait on other meals. Kids love the ice cream bar.

We really had a great time here. We didn't have a table booked, but the staff where amazing and got us a table. The kids had so much fun playing while we got to eat. The dessert wow was good. Food was amazing and great fair prices. Hubby enjoyed his stake.

Great family, friendly venue for a bite to eat. Large carpark. Baby friendly change table facilities. Bistro style food, order at the counter and they will bring to your table. There is a large play area for the kids with different sections rated for different ages, as well as a large screen TV and paid games. Food I recommend would be the gnocchi, risotto and kids fish and chips.

I should have read the reviews before coming here! Absolutely do not recommend it for large bookings. They gave us less seats than I booked for, and were incredibly rude and unhelpful when we asked for more (even though there were empty tables around us). Food was alright, but hard to enjoy it when there wasn't enough seats for everyone and we had to have children sitting on our laps or rush to finish our food so we could stand up and let someone else have a seat. Not impressed at all and will be going elsewhere for future family events.

I had a really good time on the weekend my my wife and 2 small kids. Great place to bring them. Food was pretty good. Better than I expected and the kids loved it. My wife didn't like how ever all the arcade machines. Kids just want money to gamble on them. I didn't think they where bad though. Would come back and recommend

Very surprising experience. Ordered the $22 Aussie Parmi, not expecting anything good at all. Turned out to be of a standard portion which would probably average $28+ anywhere else.

Any positives are severely outweighed by the fact that the pokies are clearly visible to every child exiting the playground!
Children don't understand that the lights and sounds are not meant for them. Is this the owners way of establishing future clientele?
A simple partition would fix the issue but I'm reliably told the owners steadfastly refuse to put one up (or move one 3 metres to the left in this case)
It's morally irresponsible to expose children to gambling at such an early age and I would implore the management and board of directors (pictured) to remedy this situation ASAP.

Good spot to take the kids. Great playground, good kids food & snacks. For the adults Pokies, food drinks etc.

Ribs was tough and bland, odd BBQ sauce. It is also dry without sauce on top, like the American style.
Could not finish the meal.

The oysters were not fresh as the waitress told us at the counter that they were.

A jug of a soft drink will cost you $20 and above.

On the plus side worth going for the kids.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Asked for a table close to the playground for my child and bang, we are right beside the door, which was great. The food was finger licking good and well priced for the serve you received. Definitely be coming back next time we are down here.
Not to mention the staff as well all were smiling and very friendly and accommodating.

Been here a few times now so it's time for a review. I've tried a Parma, variety of steaks, ceasar salad, along with different sides. All seemed to lack something, the Black Angus 400g rump, dry, overseasoned with salt and pepper, even cooked medium rare it was tough both times I tried it. Accompanied by a small lackluster salad with a sour salad dressing, a oddly rough textured garlic butter that tasted like it was in the clearance section of your local IGA deli, and chips so plain that I'd rather have a side of maccas fries...

The ceasar salad isn't much better. Although the chicken isnt bad it's ruined by a yet again sour tangy salad dressing. Wiltered lettuce and a sparing handful of croutons.

The Chicken Parmigiana was mostly standard, but quite dry topped what looks like crushed tomato's more than a sauce, biting into tomato skin with your chicken isn't exactly pleasant...

Overall I'd rate this restaurant/pub a 2 out of 5. There are much better places to go for are both cheaper and serve tastier and better quality meals. The whole bistro is also very loud when it's full bad navigating the crowd of people at tables right next to the bar and the kitchen is too much sometimes.

What a great ppub and restaurant. So the kids play ground is very neat, tidy and clean, there is a movie room type set up that kids can chill in with bean bags and chairs, there is some pay for games up stairs and also some pay game claw machines, which are a tad annoying because the kids keep asking but still look fun. The huge climbing ropes and slide are a favourite. The food was delicious and huge...$27 for a parma is expensive it was expensive real chicken breast and huge.
So we'll worth it. The chicken ceaser salad was soooooo good. The venue itself has awesome tables with TV's at the end, I attached a photo, its seriouslyover cool, either kids shows to make mum n dads night easier or a footy game to watch with mates and beer.. very cool and something iv not seen before. I would say this place would suit almost anyone . Then there is the icecream bar that you can choose your toppings. I t s great because if you just want a little bit of f I c e cream then you serve yourself just a little bit of it. The kids loved it.

A wonderful venue for a family celebration or dinner with friends. We were there for a 7 th birthday lunch with the family. Buckley's was packed with happy families doing the same thing this Sunday. Its so family friendly with the best activities I've ever seen for kids of all ages.
The Menu was small but had all the favourites on there. The serves were large every thing was bulked up with fries though. The ice cream bar is a huge hit where you get to make your own concoction and then pay by weight. They turned out to be roughly $8 each.
The seating at the bistro is varied with different sections. The booth tables with the tv screens were popular with the people that meed that. There was a 2 hour limit on dining during covid restricted covid rules. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. There were huge function rooms available and a large gaming and small TAB. Dined into Buckleys tonight from 3pm to 6pm we had tea at 5, used the playground, had coffee and cake and then dinner later on. Meal was very nice, no complaints with that. Although, the meals are huge and there comes my first opinion. If you offer such large meals please allow for a take home option. 1. You have a takeaway menu so why is it an in house policy to not offer doggy bags? 2. If I wanted to take home dessert would that have been a flag out no also?My second complaint/opinion is that majority of the staff you had on the roster for lunch/dinner on the 24/04/21 were soooooo inattentive. They were either pre occupied with how busy it was or they were just plain rude. Yes you had a kids party on and you had to clean up from it which may have set you back, but if thats the case get better stuff who can handle a bit of pressure as well as maintaining a smile and politeness or employ an extra staff member to help with partys.Love Buckleys for what they offer families and the food is always nice but today really baffled me and I wont be going back in a hurry sorry, Ill try other places before thinking of here first.

Food came out very quickly for a day that was booked out with parties. Parmis were delicious. We were served by a new staff member who did an outstanding job under the pressure of the busy lunch rush. I love this place

First time back since reopening, had a great meal with family.sat outside in alfresco area. The heating worked well.

Lovely decor, excellent bistro/menu, friendly, efficient service, and plenty of large screen television, including a huge TV wall. Great night out.

I love going to Buckley's food is delicious and deserts mmmmm also delicious and kids playground that's just opened new is amazing my grandson loves it at Buckley's best ever I recommend Buckley's good for the whole family
