Play Pokies at The Buckley's Entertainment Centre

The most amazing playground for kids! Food & drink menu is great, some food is a bit of a miss but the kids are so entertained & the ice cream bar is a big hit.

We went out for dinner (which we don't get to do very often) and thought we'd give Buckley's another chance as it's been a while since our last... experience. We shouldn't have bothered. The meals cost what you'd expect to pay now-a-days, but I can't say we got anywhere near what you'd expect for the price. I've added a photo of the wedges (pleural, technically) that my chicken was served with. I'm calling it 2.5 wedges. I know businesses have to make money, but when you order a meal that is essentially a piece of chicken, some wedges and some lettuce - I don't think it's a big ask to at least have the number of wedges be more than a 3 year-old can count on one hand. I will say they didn't skimp on the lettuce though, so credit where credit's due. The biggest disappointment of the evening was probably when we sent the plate back expecting a, 'Sorry, here's some more wedges - enjoy your meal,' but instead we're told the 'chef' said that's how the meal is served. Even though I haven't worked in hospitality since I was a teenager, I'd have been embarrassed to have served this up and then not apologised. The chances of me going back there are, as the old saying goes, 'Both on Bourke Street'.

Great place to take the family, but unfortunately our food was terrible 31/07/24 the chicken Kiev was that dark with a light burnt flavour and hard to cut, looked like it had been reheated in the deep fat fryer, the salmon wasn't any better, the outside was very dry, we also bought a jug of soft drink, .00 that is ridiculous price for post mix, the grand kids meals were good.... Loved the atmosphere, the staff were really good too and the kids enjoyed the play area, just need to fix the food... in hindsight we should of sent the meals back

Hubby was impressed by it when he ate it with a friend and brought me there to try ❤️ love is sharing good food right 😘

Went for dinner with friends and all our children and I must say this play space was top tier. We barely saw our kids for the whole hour and a half. There's a little chill space with TV if they want some quiet time, big slides, climbing frames, monkey bars etc. it was fabulous!
The meals were also great and well priced.
