Disappointing does not begin to describe my experience with this place this week.
I came here for a great meal 3 years ago, and this time I again researched extensively to find opening times, etc. over the past month, and even checked a few days ago, with a review from 3 weeks ago to increase my confidence in accuracy. Yet, I ride my bike over 150 km to end up at the pub (and town) on Sunday for tea - in the middle of no-where mind you - only to find an empty building (closed down?), with no indication of what was going on or why and no options to eat anywhere in town. Well, how bloody convenient!
It would have been easy to simply put a sign up on the door to say what was going on, but not even this was done. It would have been considerate to say something was going on on an official website or google, but this was not done. Not that this would have prevented my very difficult situation from occurring! And yet, I was here under very similar circumstances 3 years ago and it was a great place! What a shame...
I understand things happen, but surely you let the public know about any changes, right? Every source online says "open 7 days", so what do you expect people are going to think when they turn up there?!
