What a gem of a find while travelling through. Beautiful area for parties with undercovered deck over looking the river.

Chinese was scrummy and served by a family owned restaurant with all communicating and shared recommendations that I asked for.

This has some serious potential to be the best club in the district. It appears to be run by warm welcoming and most importantly competent staff. Especially a blonde lady who didn't stop. If not serving she was cleaning or organising next events. 2 other ladies on Saturday night were on the ball. Confident and friendly.

There appeared to be a pool competition going on and seemed friendly yet serious competitors.

As a single travelling 50 yr old it was a great find. Definitely recommend ??'???'???'???'???'???'???'?

Terrible Fish and Chips dinner last night at Restaurant.... told it was served with salad .... no salad and served - thrown on a plate .... $38 for 2 meals .... 3 pieces of fish with huge pile of chips... never again.

Great place to eat and play lawn bowls

We found this lovely little club by accident as there is a sneaky little pathway (approx 50m) from the Town and Country motel where we were staying straight into the club. Too easy. Small, fully equipped club, very friendly with really, really great bistro food.

Great atmosphere. Good Bistro food. Fantastic staff and most of all good choice of nice cold beers.

We park across the bridge at Forbes in free camping spot for vans and always go to Forbes bowling club for a beautiful Chinese meal the best weve tasted we can never eat it all( and finish up with Chinese for our next day in van )they have Australian food too open 11.30-3 and 5-9 tonight Thursday not sure if weekends same times the girls are lovely and chefs amazing we suggested they place their board thats inside out on steps outside so all us caravaners and locals see that they are there please go and enjoy their great food we paid $14.50 each item and that would have fed two people it was absolutely delicious well done Forbes (I think the bar staff there tonight was a not very welcoming though just saying)

We visited the club recently for lunch.
The service provided by the barman Shannan was outstanding.
We sat in the TAB area, had lunch, a drink and gambled on a couple of races.
Shannon turned the heater on for us with out us asking, checked if we were warm enough.
He informed us about procedure to order our lunch also charged a phone for us with out hesitation.
We observed Shannon also giving a lady information re the clubs facilities to hold a wake for her father. What a caring guy.
We will certainly call in again next time we are in Forbes.
