Had a beautiful country home cooked meal, great specials, food was amazing and large serves too. I wonderful Country pub experience with quick and friendly service and welcoming staff

Great place for dinner right in the heart of Forbes. The dining area has recently been renovated although I didn't think there was much wrong with the old version.
Nightly meal specials and a huge variety of menu options. The crispy chicken would have to be my new favourite!
Service is fast and efficient, meals came out quickly and well presented. Generous servings.
Very spacious and I think the new renovations have made it feel even more light and roomy.

What a great restaurant. The best I've been to in a long time. Recently renovated due to flood damage.

Great pub and absolutely massive! Staff were so friendly and all seemed to get along well with each other, must be a great spot to work. Beer cold and the crumb cutlets were tops. Should have got the three cutlets they were that good

Ok food, some vegan options, but check with the (helpful) staff, e.g. there is non vegan butter in the mash, but they correct it quickly

Ordered 2x Bowls of Chips @ $8 each, and received a very minimal amount. Portioning seems to be on the smaller size compared to the price that you pay for the meal....

Was rectified by staff to receive another plate with a few more chips than the previous amount. Staff are pleasant, food otherwise.

The chicken schnitzel was amazing and I have tried chicken schnitzel from Sydney to Wagga to Forbes and let me tell you it was on the top of the list!! ??'??

Had evening meal very disappointed with food it's all pre cooked, I ordered rump steak well done it was served to me in less than 5 minutes was not nice at alll, played some pool, good family atmosphere

Good pub grub, choices of Asian and European meals, Cheesy garlic bread great , very good Chicken Parmigiana. Drinks at reasonable prices.

I'm sure the food and beer is nice but DONT STAY THERE THE NIGHT.

I have bites and blisters all over my body due to BED BUGS!

Got a full refund and the management was very quick to agree that this should be the case.

I was informed (after my stay) they spray for bed bugs every month as they have had them before, but it obviously didn't work in room 2. The mattress was from the 1980s, the shower recess fills up as the drains are blocked and in general the place was dirty.

You can do better FORBES INN.

Originally tried to go to another venue however was told they were closing. Not being a local, I asked where I should go and I was suggested to go to the Forbes Inn. What a great suggestion. The staff were very friendly and there was lots of different seating areas. Gaming patrons were impressively catered for, being offered many complementary snacks and other food options. I ordered a Thai meal which was absolutely delicious, so delicious that I asked for a container to take the rest back to my motel. Only downfall is the furniture, chairs in one area where I sat were peeling and very unsightly. A refresh of the furniture would've given a 5 star.

Stopped in to do Saturday lunch, had the rump steak medium rare, with Dianne sauce chips and salad. Delicious, sauce fantastic, nice crispy chips, salad with capsicum, tomatoes, carrots, spinach and red cabbage, with a nice dressing. Large serves are worth the price. Yes, wait for food but worth it. Will return.

The pub is well done inside.
The staff are not great. They were quite rude especially too the older people in our group. I would not recommend this place at all.

A very popular dinner amongst locals. We came here as recommended by our motel reception. We were there just around seven, it was busy already and there were about 10 people ahead of us in the line. We were told food would take 45mins and yeah indeed took about that time. The food was great, both the chicken schnitzel and sirloin steak were delicious, cooked to perfection.

Very clean place. Great food. Great beer. Biggest pub ive ever seen. Worth checking out if you are in town. It looked like a casino.
