Be careful when booking for early or late checkin/checkouts. You would assume its accepted when they dont respond and even if asked they wont take their time to clarify and get back to you. Loud moith staff with serious need for proper customer service training.

I'd like to thank all the team at Figtree Hotel. Firstly we had a work Christmas part there,40 plus for lunch the meals were exceptional,service on point .We all ate together on time.Thankyou Chef.The bar staff handled each and every situation with the utmost professionalism.

Food was terrible and service ? Whats that.... the wait staff there was no customer service no hello or how are you, just popped the plate down and that was that...
Food presentation was good but the taste and flavour just wasn't there.
Solo singer was also too loud couldnt have a proper conversation with friends

I always come by for trivia on Tuesday nights with my mates and it is an absolute blast! Bree is hilarious and makes even losing fun!! Staff and the food are also fantastic; coming by is the highlight of the week

Been eating here for over 5 years. Basically order the same thing everytime...and I love it...well I loved it. The southern fried chicken burger was my go to. Now it was grosse. The chops over cooked. They changed the sauce on coleslaw and used a tiny chicken thigh cut in half. I nearly vomited as thigh meat is so strong in flavour I can't stand it. The price went up (which I get) but then to use a cheaper cut of meat aswell. So disappointing. I spoke to manager she basically made me feel like my opinion didn't matter because (and I quote) " No body else has complained". Maybe they are too scared to with that attitude. If something works don't change it.
They have lost loyal customers of over 5years. I will not be going back.

These rooms are en-suite which is an advantage.
Bring your own heater in winter as there is no air conditioning in the rooms

A big bonus for us is that dogs are OK outside on the covered veranda.

From arrival untill leaving i can only say FANTASTIC. Each and every staff member smiled and went above and beyond to help. The food was amazing the brisket you have to try gold srar bistro and service..

Went back to Figtree the other day and was kindly greeted by Ella. She was impeccable on floor being both efficient and effective. Would highly recommend and specifically having Ella as your waitress. Good work Ella!

10/10 experience was taken so well care of, specially from Ella. She took time to explain the menu in depth as well as recommended me her amazing cocktail. Was not disappointed and will be going back!!

This is on a difficult location right beside the four lane road but they've done a great job making it comfortable and welcoming. There are really nice outdoor areas and it's attractive inside. The staff were lovely. I didn't eat there but the meals looked mid-range price. There's plenty of car parking, especially out the back, which might be helpful for those with dogs and children, because it's safer away from the road and traffic. It looks as if, when not too busy (I was there on a weekday) kids and dogs (on leash) could run on the grass or the back under supervision.

One of my favourite pubs in Wollongong. The service is good and it is quick. It has some of the best pub food I have ever received in the region. Great job

It's an amazing place to hang out with family & friends. Quiet, indoor & outdoor option available. Foods are amazing, I got myself parmigiana and was taking my time to finish it. They do as per our request too since I don't eat pork and beef.
Overall, this is a place you want to spend some quality time with family and friends and have some alcohol or non alcohol drink.
Kids meal are available too.

Good place to hangout with your mates. We were looking for a place to grab lunch and this place was recommended. Service and food was great! Food arrived quickly and was fresh. Quantity was more than enough. Must go if you are around Wollongong!

Don't bother eating here . I live within walking distance and wish the food was good and keep giving them a chance but no more. We had the $38 rump steak, not only is it over priced for a rump but tasted terrible it was watery like it had been just been defrosted and not fresh. The chips tasted like fish probably because they oil hadn't be changed for a long time.

Good food beautiful venue and nice staff. Pokie room could benefit from some privacy shades around the machines. No one needs to hear people chew their ear off while trying to have a relaxing slap

My partner and I Really enjoyed the Nachos with beans we had for dinner. The staff were really good. Re the accomodation, my partner said "fire up the bulldozer and don't stop till you get to the sea." Must admit it was well priced for a last minute booking on a Friday afternoon

Good quality, if small menu. Nice variety of drinks on tap although it gets pretty busy and a bit noisy on a Friday night.

Food was under average. Atmosphere was good until you get hit by female/male hustler which are friends with bartenders and managers (I've seen they are known each other's )looking for free drinks and what ever they can get more.rooms are under average as well as expensive.

Great night had by all, seems to be a very popular place.

The place is great. But since they changed the menu, I find it their vegan food options is not as good as it was on the previous menu back in February 2021. Besides that, I am happy with everything else.

They have live music every Saturday.

(I am vegan due to my health problems not by choice).

Beds are really bad. We had an awful night. Continuous noise of a fan just outside the room. Not really clean too (coins on the table and a soap open in the shower...). Looks very old and is very not comfy for the price. Definitely do not recommend to stay at the hotel.
Can't speak for the restaurant and bar as we didn't try but looked nice.

Very basic accommodation but was clean and tidy,little attention to detail though as the bed itself was falling apart,every screw that held it together was either loose or ready to fall out,made it a noisy night every time either of us moved. Got up in the morning and went to make a cup of coffee for both of us to find that there was only 1 cup in the room, did not think it was a problem as we were told there was a kitchen we could use ,low and behold there were no cups in the kitchen,just a microwave.A little more care could be taken when looking after guests

I know it's cheap but a single bed, fridge on the floor and a wobbly pedestal fan no a/C. Basic is an understatement.at $94 per night I will spend an extra 20-30 to enjoy some creature comforts.

Figtree Hotel was a nice casual spot to have dinner. We unfortunately arrived late but the staff were understanding. The noise and view of the carpark from the balcony was a little distracting when trying to have dinner. Food was really good & staff were friendly.

Such a clean venue and the meal sizes were quite large... actually almost too large for my partner and I.Gaming area was clean with updated games. And staff were accommodating.

The newly Renovated Figtree Hotel has a nice meals area suitable for Families, Groups or a couples intimate dinner. The Pizzas, Nachos, steaks, salads & Parmigiana are all nice. There is a TAB and way too many Poker machines.

Good selection of tap beers. Friendly staff. Plenty of security staff on hand so you feel safe. The few unruly patrons I saw were dealt with professionally and efficiently. Food menu looked great and I certainly will try it next time.
