Amazing T bone chips and salad plus the iciest beer I've had in ages. The locals said it was a good feed and they aren't .

Stayed there for work last week, excellent value and very friendly staff, I will be back ??'?.

I didn't stay a night unfortunately as there wasn't much info on the internet. After speaking with Jason I missed out on a good stay. This pub has a great friendly atmosphere. The beers are cold and correctly poured. The staff are very friendly and answer questions and take time to chat when they have time. I had a chicken snitzel and id say it was the best if even had. Apparently they prepare it themselves and it doesn't go soggy as it cools down like the oil filled ones do. Vegs were great especially the tasty mashed spuds. It's good to see small town pubs still offering great service and creating a friendly environment. Highly recommended and I'll stay on my next visit.

What a wonderful stay! I stayed for 2 weeks while working here in Quirindi. Room was nice, food was excellent and the pub was darling! Mel from the bar even let me do my washing there even though she's not supposed to! :) will stay again!!

Our second visit to Quirindi and the Federal Hotel. Meals were exceptional and the service and hospitality were second to none.

Just a nice pub, excellent staff, good beer and big meals. Stayed in the room upstairs and this just a pub has incredibly nice rooms. Definitely staying there again.

Friendly proprietors and staff with reasonable pub meals. Rooms rates for long stays (4+ days) is well worth the very soft comfortable bed and quiet night sleep. Shared amenities seem to be cleaned every 2 days. Rates for 1 or 2 nights can vary, so ask ahead when booking.

I'm happy to say this wonderful hotel provides excellent service, the biggest and best cooked meals, cold beer with excellent service.
The rooms are so clean, with crisp linen.
Toilets and showers absolutely ??'? spotless.
I'll be back.

Country pub with old fittings but service was good and the meal I had was excellent. Recommend the crumbed lamb cutlets

The best chicken snitty I have ever eaten.
The meatlovers topping was sooooo good. Chicken was cooked just right, no over done and the combination of meats was top shelf.
I went back and I will be back again.

I had heard from other locals that the meals at the Federal Hotel were excellent so had to go and find out for myself. I had the rump chips and salad and it was delicious. I ordered my sreak med/rare and that's what I got. Highly recommend.

Great friendly atmosphere with the wood heater regularly stoked in the outside area. Inside the same atmosphere with the locals. All staff friendly & efficient, good menu selection (the steaks must be good) as they had run out when I ordered so had a pizza.

Friday just gone, 30th, my wife and I had a meal and a few beers, it was the best meal I have ever had at any venue in Quirindi, not to mention how friendly the staff were. AAA+

The meals were great & the staff friendly accommodating to your dietary needs. Stopped for lunch, ordered crumbed lamb cutlets & veggies.

The most unfriendly, unwelcoming, unpleasant and hotel industry unprofessional place and people that I have seen. The food if it could be called that I would not feed it to dogs or pigs. The cutlery was so dirty that made nosious just looking at it. Do yourself a favor take your money and business somewhere else where it might be appreciated.

Friendly, fun great food.

Patient staff. Great steak and gravy. Fair pricing. Think out of our table of 6 people, we all enjoyed our meal choices.Stinking hot summer night outside but cooler in here.Didn't stink of cigarettes which I appreciated.
