One of our favourite pubs in Ipswich. Has been our go to for many years. Have tried others but always come back to Falveys. Great meals. Convenient location.

Caution to diners with allergies - the staff can't swap sides out, they can only remove them from your plate and then charge you $10 for a full side. The staff also make errors, then put the issue back onto you to have to then pay additional money for the rectification. Very poor service, and oddly rigid for a local pub.
The cheesy garlic bread was rather delicious, I'll give it that! The beef cheek was tender, but lacking in taste and the usual density one would expect from such a dish. Food was overall decent.

Last night, was the first and LAST time we went to dinner. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming. However, when our food finally arrived after an hour, my whiting was cold and my son's cheeseburger patty was still raw. Management were so rude and completely dismissed me and told me that they wouldn't recook my food and that next time I should order something different. I was completely shocked and my family and I will not be returning.. Such a disappointment after being recommended to go.

Falveys is a great place to catch up with mates or family with lots of different areas to cater your interests. However, the food.. I have been here multiple times and the food is always below average and overpriced. Today I ordered the Japanese style fish burger - the overly thick fish patty was extremely dry and honestly inedible, lacking flavour. I couldn't finish it. The chips always look great but they lack flavour and are never crispy.
Staff are great so I guess just go for drinks and entertainment.

The dining (lunch time) area was very warm, lots of flies, served by male with the attitude of ' I don't want to be here'. There were around 12 people in the whole dining room. The salt and pepper shaker metal tops were very rusted and flaking (on nearly all close by tables) the meal was fine, but salad (different green leaves) were covered in some dressing that tasted off. Not the best of experiences. Shall not be returning.
