Had a great night out with friends. All the staff were fantastic, very helpful and polite. Great selection of food for all tastes at reasonable prices and a good selection of alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks.

Right from the welcome and seating through service, food and cocktails, this place is sensational. It looks to be recently renovated and the outside area is lovely with real grass!! The owner, Andrew, welcomed us and chatted throughout the evening. I'm definitely going back!

Lunchtime special chicken snitty $16 and lambs fry and bacon with mash $16. Both were yummy

Great place, delicious food, waitstaff were absolutely brilliant. Porkalooza and the Margherita pizzas were the bomb diggety!

Eeesh! It used to be a thriving place on a weekend. Certainly not anymore. Beer was flat out of the tap, probably an ancient keg uncleaned lines. I heard there are new owners, I really hope you guys can restore the place to its former glory. I would certainly change my review if you did manage it, and I wish you the best of luck.

Staff are super friendly, but the food was terrible. Completely different to online menu's etc, with only one gf meal option. Could be a great pub

Happy hour on Saturday runs from 6pm to 10pm and is well worth going to. When I went, there was no DJ so I assume the songs were chosen by the patrons using the app provided. Music was a bit of a hit and miss, but the drinks and service were spot on.

Seemed dog friendly as well so that was a great bonus while waiting for drinks ?

Really felt at home. Modern settings with an old time country pub friendliness and food.

Took a day trip to Bathurst from Sydney yesterday and was looking for a good pub to have lunch. Elephant and Castle rated highly.

It was a really quiet Friday lunch time and the man at the bar was extremely accommodating. Ordered the meal and the chef came out and asked how much chilli I'd like! It was perfect.

Fantastic food. Excellent staff, up for shenanigans and excellent people working there.
Will literally kick the owner out of the dining room because you sat there the night before and want to sit there again.

Will be stopping in everytime we visit Bathurst.

Had the chicken parmigiana burger and it was divine! My friends had the chicken Caesar salad and chicken schnitzel and loved them too!

Good watering hole, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Went in to watch the grand final for the footy and ordered food, the food was awesome! The barstaff we're lovely and accommodating, answering any questions I had and the manager was a genuinely lovely guy, whom actually cared about his customers, we sat and had a decent chat for a while about the upcoming renovations and he genuinely cared about his clientele. It's such a beautiful place with wonderful staff!!

Best parmy menu I've ever seen, great trivia and a nice outdoor area.

One of the best watering holes in town to sit out the front and chin wag on a Friday afternoon; on one of the most beautiful streets in town - Kepple. If you're keen to hit the DF you can stay a little later or hit up the Luna events.

On the way to Orange, we stopped to grab lunch in Bathurst. Google said there was a good cafe across the road, but when we got there it was busy and full.
We looked around and saw this pub so came in from the cold.
The menu looked appealing and other customers portion sizes were very generous.
So we ordered the chicken schnitzel (like who wouldn't). One of us had the bacon and egg topping, with veges and mash, another was plain schnitty with veges and mash, and one salad and chips.
The food was okay, not cheap, but it took them over 45 minutes to deliver. They must've gone to the butchers or supermarket to get more supplies.
Staff were friendly, but there wasn't much urgency.
Not a bad place to stop if you are happy to kill time.
