Great spot for dinner. Always a good meal. Lots of great vego options. Really appreciated to have more than one or two token items.

Great food, fast and friendly service.
I had the fiery Parmy, two colleagues had classic Parmy and Rib Eye.
Rib eye was ordered Medium -Rare and was cooked perfectly.

We only stopped for a drink. The staff were friendly. Will go back for a meal. Menu looks good.

Awesome service and fantastic staff especially Abbie, Bec, Big Craig, Wags and Rachel. Would absolutely recommend for a meal and a nice cold beer. I'd give 6 stars if it was available.

Delicious food. Nothing fancy, just a hearty home cooked style meal. Meat and Gravy or burger and chips. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the chips were delicious (yes, there is such a thing as bad chips, but this wasn't them).

Service was good too.

We had lunch at the Dodges ferry hotel, it was fantastic food, great service great atmosphere very generous portions. The chicken was tender and succulent even the chicken nuggets were real chicken. We strongly recommend.

Was recommended to come here by a few locals we met at the beach - what a score. This place has the best pub meals we've experienced in a very very long time. Huge serves, fresh, well priced, clean and friendly.
You won't regret it!

Great meal but for a family bistro the F....bombs and atrocious language being yelled out of the kitchen/wash area was just terrible for dining with our 7 year old. Service for a drink also poor having to call out multiple times. Such ashame as really loved the food.

Brilliant parmi's can be found here!! Dropped in here on a Saturday night had a pint and a parmi and saw some excellent live music (Grunge Generation)

This pub has been our local for the past 4.5 yrs & it never disappoints; the food is always superb. Interesting modern Australian cuisine with rocking specials. Unpretentious pub with a good beer garden & live bands also.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend who lives in the area, and I'm so glad we did. Food was amazing, high quality and generous serving sizes. Service was friendly, and beer garden was tidy. Kids meals were quality, with real chicken in the nuggets and delicious squid in the calamari fingers, and the pulled pork burger will be one of my favourite food memories from our 3 weeks in Tassie

We had a meal and it was packed. We got the last table. It took a long time to get our meals and we were very hungry by the time we got them but they were great. The staff worked like Trojans.

Extensive menu, friendly service and great food. We had the best crumbed scallops and salt n pepper calamari. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Went for dinner with friends with a reservation (required as it's always busy). Waitress left our order on the till, so we had to wait another thirty minutes after a 30min wait. We were cheeky and suggested free drinks instead of the garlic bread offered but took it when told no (as expected). Good atmosphere so we were happy waiting. When they arrived, the meals were great (and big). Popped into the bar for one last drink before heading home and told we're banned because we made the waitress cry when we asked for free drinks. Three drinks in two hours for adults in their 40s and 50s with a solid meal under our belt, so not under the influence by any means. Disappointed by the gaslighting of customers who made a reasonable suggestion when let down by their server. If we'd known our standard request made our server that distressed, we would have been horrified and immediately apologised but it didn't appear to distress her at the time.
In hindsight, it's a good thing we didn't hang around as the bar had a group of drunk people falling over and smashing glasses, who continued to be served.
Good option for a decent meal, expect to wait, and don't bother hanging around after.

I'm lost for words, all 4 meals were simply faultless. These chefs just got it so right which is highly unusual these days. Staff just generally nice friendly people. I'm so impressed. We have now found our go to for a amazing meal out.

We ordered our dinner and then there was a stuff up in the kitchen and they forgot about us for over an hour. The did apologise and we got our meal quickly after that with free drinks too which was great. The food is great here and I recommend the steak.

Amazing food and lovely staff!! Food is always exceptional. The best pub meals- so much food and great quality. Katie the bistro waitress is lovely and so accommodating. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves good old fashioned great service and amazing meals! The man who answers the phone during the day for bookings is also a legend!!

It's just OK!! Food OK but had better!!
Sorry, but can't justify more than two star.......room for improvement. The steak that I had was not the freshest. Other dishes around the table were only just acceptable!!
