Just spent 10 days in the hotel on a business trip and it was a great experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great and the neighborhood amenities are easily accessible. The rooms have been modernized and they are clean and quiet. You will have a great rest at night.

My wife and I had lunch there for the first time last weekend my wife got the stake which didn't look anything like the photo at all. It looks like it was just slapped on the hot plate and then slapped onto the plate, and there was still raw fat on the side of the steak and my wife did not enjoy her meal.
Sorry just not good enough. first and last time for us. PS The staff were very nice and friendly.

Very disappointed not been there before so rang up and confirmed the time the meals start only then to arrive by 5pm then told meals not until 5,30pm. Secondly given two food menus both different so needed to sort why this was. Thirdly while trying to order a meal the bar staff would just leave and serve others before returning only to do the same thing again. Fourthly and most importantly went down to have the advertised $20 Thursday meal only to be charged more after raising this with the staff member got no where. Very poor overall experience I doubt I will be back.

We went and had lunch there today and $15 lunch special is spot on and the Cheeseburger was out of this world. I've never really had one before well not like that anyway. I've only ever had the ones from MacDonald's and they aren't crash hot but yours my tastes buds just danced and totally enjoyed every mouthful. Your Garlic Bread and Chips were fantastic as well.

Looks great after the renovations. The staff were really lovely, but could have been a bit better in regards to housekeeping. Room had everything we needed and made for a comfortable stay. There was always a car park free which was great. Room service was very good.

Such friendly and awesome service. Always approachable when I had concerns(e.g - noisy neighbours).. Price was great and rooms were very comfortable.. I'm definitely planning to stay here again when I come back to Brisbane..

The venue looks fantastic and the outdoor place is amazing and the food is fantastic. The baked chicken wings and calamari was delicious and the Parmi's were huge. Great value

Loved our stay here very nice looks can be deceiving, pokies was fun to play in very family vibe with the staff ....thankyou to Russel for accomodating us on last notice we appreciate you and the young lady who booked us in she was very lovely mistakes happen but was not her fault just a misunderstanding was all but they made it work and we are grateful 🙏 all staff were great and I'm sorry to say I didn't catch anyone else's name but excellent service from Victoria who went above and beyond toasties were great 😃 and also another lady who I'm guessing was the manager she was quite tall she was also very lovely the security guard also was very nice good job diamond hotel

The proximity to a few shops, a TAB with pokies, and a red rooster is about all it has going for it.
The rooms are atrocious. Smelling like urine, cheap amenities, and not even a desk to check in. You have to go to the pokies bar to get your key.
Does not feel safe and the locks aren't secure.
If all you want is pokies then stay here, otherwise stay anywhere else

This place has come along way .its finally opened its motel rooms that are a much needed retreat if needed by anybody i love the pokies layout good games are in this place i suggest this is my fave pub to play at

Booked a room here to stay for 5 days. On the first day, I insistently felt uncomfortable as there were people walking up and down the hotel rooms and staring and watching us. I didn't feel safe. I called the receptionist and explained why I wanted a refund and packed our things. They were lovely and understood. Wouldn't recommend.

Love this pub! Haven't stayed in the hotel have only recently found out it's an accomodation as well 😂
Everytime I play pokies here I usually always come out winning double my money I went in with.

The staff is just absolutely amazing they're always on their feet, cleaning picking up after everyone and just making lovely conversations with everyone there.

It's my go to place 🥰

Don't judge a book by it's cover. She may look a bit questionable but there's a heart of gold in there. The rooms are extremely clean and comfy. My car battery was flat this morning and one of the hotel staff, Tom, came to jump start it with his personal car and jumper cables. Such a great spot! Such hospitable service!

Look I'm checked earlier today.driving into the complex and seeing the adjoing pub bottlo restraunt and the million dollar recently refurbished pokie room I thought .I don't want to stay at a pub. Surley the accommodation is lacking or yet to b upgraded.100% as soon as I unlocked the hardwood front and back sound proof door and concrete walled room was as good as a 300 dollar a night room in the city up high.the bed the fitting the tea and coffee selection as well as the homewares place in the were all well thought out and put there comfort convenience and style.
I am never going to leave i checked in on a public holiday at the last minute.its was reasonably priced and staffed by kind and caring staff who went out of there way to accommodate me .the bar staff r not only beautiful but extremely helpful even when under pressure at 5 pm in the sports bar.diamonds manager Tom is a busy and considerate and fair man.
4.5 stars n I usually stay in the city

I enjoyed my stay! The rooms and especially the bed was so comfortable! Good value for its price, quite modern as well! The staff are so welcoming and kind and they made the whole process easy. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a laidback yet comfortable place to stay in for short term visit!

This place is absolutely disgusting. they have two rooms. A dark pokies room packed with desperate addicts silently feeding the machines with one finger on the spin button. it is dead quiet in this room except for the pokie machines themselves. nobody is having fun here. The other room is called the racing room. This is the where about five or six desperados permanently stand glued to the television with little pieces of paper in their hand. also quiet except for the screens. I felt guilty for smiling when i entered this room because someone just inside the door had his face in his hands and was evidently having bad day. i think they got rid of the pool table because the fun was drawing people away from the gambling. there is no restaurant here. there is nowhere to have a quiet beer. you have to choose between gambling rooms or smoking areas. I had a chat with the guy in the bottle shop, he agreed it was disgusting. he says that Coles no longer runs this place but they still have their hand in the cookie jar. He says they still have share in the pub. I wish you could see the pokie room as i saw it when i entered. Five stars because i want this review to get seen and not pushed down. When the state government (currently Anastacia) teams up with corporate interests and goes to war with the community.....this is the result.... bottle shop guy told me that some gamblers visit the bottle shop first so that when they run out of money they will at least have a six pack. i found all the staff to be friendly and polite except for the lady selling beer. when i asked her what beers they had on tap, she didn't know and rolled her eyes before going to the next room to check.
