We camped here for Father's Day weekend.
The facilities are awesome. They have a full camp kitchen knropof the pool, splash pad, tennis, volleyball courts, and BMX track 10/10

Del Rio Resort offers a serene riverside getaway with basic amenities, numerous indoor/outdoor games, and a variety of stay choices. The tranquil isolation and campfire add to the charm. Yet, during our visit, indoor games were unavailable and bathroom door issues lacked handyman attention.

One of the most beautifully maintained properties. Great facilities and heavenly views of the magnificent Hawkesbury river, wiseman's ferry and surroundings. Lots of activities for kids including the water park.

Beautiful place to stay and close to Sydney. Nice big park with plenty of options for accommodation or camping. Pool and watermark amazing. Put Put golf is great.

Overall Disappointing. Poor water quality - see photo.
Disadvantages: Overpriced for the ammenities. Need to pay extra for putt putt and tennis. No jumping pillows anymore.
Staff were friendly enough but communication about the water in advance would have gone a long way, we would have taken our own water if we knew. Very expensive comparatively to other parks in winter. The tennis and putt putt should be free considering there isn't much else for kids to do there in winter. Costs were way too high. $5 per person everytime you wanted to do either of these activities.
Advantages: Location, fires allowed.

We went there for 3 night camping and had a great experience.
If you are using Vodafone or Optus network then expect to have no network coverage that means you can enjoy your time with your family, friends and nature without distractions from virtual world.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

You get plenty of parking and view of Hawkesbury river was majestic. If you are going during summer then you can also swim.

It has all the amenities you need for camping including long tennis court, swimming pool and kids playing area.

This time it was a day trip but before we have done multiple camping trips here. Very good site with good facilities.

This is really remote so i expect to pay more than in Sydney Central. What i don't expect is no milk for my tea, no tea or coffee then off milk when i had to go and get it. The cafe became our go to but with a room rate more than the Hilton i fully expected more.

Great location, lots of options if you are with family. But it was too crowded. And toilets near the swimming pool were not maintained. There is another bigger toilet near kitchen area which is well maintained.

Camped on a powered site with 5 other families. It's our first time here as we're finding it harder and harder to find parks close to Sydney that cater to tents. Beautiful location, stunning scenery. Sites were great, roomy and well maintained with plenty of room to pitch on lovely grass. It is obvious this place has taken a hit from the floods. Facilities are a bit rundown. The pool was quite cold and it's a shame there's no jumping pillow. The little ones live on the pillow at other places. A friend stayed in a basic cabin which has probably seen better days.
Staff were lovely, we will be back because we are confident given time this place will be restored to its former glory. A real gem of a park.
The cafe food was delicious and handy. The snitzel burger was the bomb!

Beautiful Lakefront Accomodation. Waterpark, heated pool, games room, playground, baskeball and volleyball courts, open space. Lots of potential but maintenace to keep to a good standard lacking. My 5 star review is for its potential and special mention to Mel the receptionist who is truly an amazing and kind and helpful person.

The Equestrian Lodge, needs some TLC and a big refresh. The rooms were not clean, dusty under the beds,lighting very very dim, light not working in the kitchen, short circuited so could not use the microwave, golf grounds not mowed in a poor state. Couch not very comfortable and falling apart.Needs a bit of work.Smoke alarm going off all day and night, did not have a good sleep due to the beeping. Fly screens in a poor state, could not open the windows. My suggestion before the guests arrive a staff should go out and check that everything is in good working order, seeing the rates have gone up. Could not hire the cottage next door, very disappointed ???'

5 stars all round. Very accommodating staff and excellent facilities! We have a 21" caravan and was easy to park and had plenty of space. Definitely coming back

Great customer service and nice views but cabin experience was really poor. The cabin was dusty and dirty. Beds were not comfortable and the blankets were stained and smelly. There were spiders and webs in the windows and all corners of the room. Kitchen was dusty, fridge didn't work and there were cockroaches in the cabinets. Bathroom was cramped; door didn't lock and there were stains on the shower floor.
Do not recommend staying in the cabins.

Had a fantastic time spent camping with family. We had a powered site which was perfect for us. Our site was missing access to water for some reason but luckily we had a vacant site next to us so we could use that tap. Grounds were in good shape considering the recent floods. The pool was a bit murky from a lot of use and the cabins (some family stayed in them) definitely need some attention, alot of damage from flooding etc but still good enough for a few nights stay.
Only minimal Telstra service, no other service. Little cafe has some pizzas and burgers etc which looked alright. Tennis court was good but the putt putt golf needs a little TLC and unfortunately the golf course itself is not operational. The toilets become quite a mess a few times, as well as running out of toilet paper for the whole night. Overall had a wonderful time here, lots of swims in the river and making most of the amenities. Location is lovely and secluded, needing to take the ferry to access the resort. With time and money, this resort should bounce back beautifully. The kids all loved the space to ride bikes and run freely.
I'm sure we will be back again some day.

Damage caused by the last flood has not been restored. Most of the facilities were not in good condition. But what disappoints me is that they didn't inform me in advance.

Very nice campsite by the river, if you have ski it's a very good choice, the only downside is that you need to bring drinking water, because the water quality here is not very good.

Amazing experience. Stayed 4 nights. Staff was helpful. Beautiful spot, every direction beautiful scenery. Kids had a great time. We had an amazing time. Will be making the trip back at least once a year! ?

Stayed many time here and always had a good experience, cabins are always spotless and early check-in or late check-out are always available depending on bookings. Grounds are kept well and the pool area is spotless, definitely recommend .

A great caravan park with stunning views of the Hawkesbury River. Heaps of activities available for kids and lovely mountain views everywhere you look. The sites were spacious and well maintained. The staff are all working really hard to get back on their feet after the flooding so i know the support would be really appreciated if you are in the area.

After a week away over Australia Day taking the caravan to one of Del Rio's powered sites I wasn't surprised to see the park mostly empty.

There was absolutely no upkeep to sites, they were all overgrown! All the gardens looked like no one owned them.

The toilets were cleaned at 6am every morning and that was it. In this day and age this is totally inadequate and we were lucky we had an ensuite in our van.

They allowed visitors on Australia Day at a cost whom left rubbish all around the park which was not cleaned up by mid morning the next day.

If you are going to charge people a premium to stay at your 'resort' you really need to back it up with resort offerings. Not something you can get next to nothing at a national park with pit toilets.

1 star for scenery.
1 star for the power.

While the site is surrounded by pretty nature, the amenities are not well cleaned. The toilets are often dirty, which is a big drawback. The big jumping pillow is always covered with mud.

If I could give this place a negative star I would have ! We waited so long to have our long expected holiday at Del rio after prolong lock down, only to be disappointed and utterly disgusted. After hearing so many good things about this place from colleagues we hired the ski lodge with few friends and their families. The second we opened the door there was a very rotten and awful smell inside , it felt like that house was not opened for at least 50 years. The floor were dirty , covered with huge dust and leaves . We got even disappointed to see the beds upstairs . Full of dust on bed and spider webs hanging on the window and wall . We felt really unsafe and a few of our kids started having allergic reaction from the heavily dusted beds and couch. There were no TV even though during booking they said there would be! Moreover there were mouse running all over on the downstairs floor. The fans were not working , after complaining to the admin they changed them to another one which had broken legs and could hardly stand . We were so so disappointed and disgusted with this ski lodge that we cut our trip short to 3 days instead of 4 days though we paid for 4 days. Only positive thing was the location and natural scenery which is why they get one star. But never ever ever we are going to recommend this place to anyone !

The room was clean and in a good condition, with only few spots on the couch only. Seems it's been recently renovated, and nice set of dining set was also provided. Convenient location with a few minutes drive both to shops and city centre.

We just had our company's Year-end activities for 2 days recently. We occupied 7 villas. The place is amazing! The staff are so accommodating. Our family will be coming this January 2022! Very satisfied customer here. Kudos Del Rio Riverside resort!

This is a beautiful resort with well-stocked and clean cabins.
The mini golf, pool and BBQ areas makes it a great place for kids and the friendly staff will make this resort an annual retreat.

Visited in Feb 2021 with family, great for kiddos. Park has all the facilities a family could wish for. Some of the facilities are a little tired but it's easy to see they're putting in the works to repair and maintain. Kids loved the hire carts/bikes, personally I thought they were overpriced but they still managed to be sold out throughout the day. Stayed in cabin, again a little tired but everything worked ok. Was nice to go somewhere other than coast but this means the pool can get quite busy, but there's plenty of seating and shade around. Also, loved the giant old trees, omg huge!

Didn't stay here. Some cabins right on the water seemed very comfortable and with all amenities for a family. Fantastic views and I reckon it would be a nice place to wake up early in the morning and sit on the verandah with a cuppa. They were quite expensive. They have a bistro on site and some play areas for kids. Reception are very friendly.

But do note that they only have Telstra mobile reception and the WiFi is very expensive!

Great place! Stayed in one of the river view cabins and it was wonderful. Very clean and well presented. All of the essentials. Lovely lady at the reception desk for check-in/out.
Fantastic facilities. We stayed mid week so their bistro, water park and meeting hub were shut but that didn't impact out stay in a negative way.

It is good place for camping, day drip and activities. However, no staff around the pool if your kid doesn't know swimming or your height is less than 2m :-) stay away from pool. Pool water was very dirty.

We hired powered campsites for a weekend getaway. The location of resort is amazing. It has got green and clean open areas with river views. Plenty of benches to sit and relax with family and friends. You have got barbeques at many places for cooking. Pretty big play area under a huge tree for kids to spent hours playing while parents enjoy talks. You have got putt putt golf, swimming pool and carts to pass time.

WARNING - I feel depth of pool is marked incorrectly. I realised it when I was standing at 1.2 meter mark and my head went under water. I am 1.75 m tall. Administration should take a note and correct this because the pool has no life guards and if there is no one in pool, you might be in danger.

Great location by the river. Plenty to keep you busy, walks, bikes, pool, river, golf, putt putt, open spaces. Sections of accommodation could do with a bit of finesse but will come back again.

What a lovely place to get away from the real world! I'm not a camper so we stayed in one of the cabins. Nicely appointed but make sure you bring all your own BBQ equipment and frypans as there isn't much supplied. Lovely outlook right on the river. We brought our boat with us and for a $20 fee you can use their boat ramp for your whole stay (and its a good one too!)

While there are many activities here for kids and the on site boat ramp makes it so you don't need to then find one nearby, though the amenities blocks are in need of renovation and an upgrade. The cost per night is quite excessive for a powered site and I've had much nicer, more private and larger ensuite sites for a cheaper cost. The sites are also quite muddy when wet and noticed across from us that someone had an obvious issue with putting a tent peg into a water pipe which was obviously not set deep enough. In saying this, I will still return here as it is the sort of place that you can generally get into at late notice and the kids had fun non stop.

Great park with loads of things for kids to do. The location is beautiful and the sites are very roomy. Great bistro and cafe on-site which is awesome after a big day of watching the world go by and you don't want to cook!

Lovely resort with great facilities for kids and adults to enjoy for days. Location is great with lovely walks. Staff is also very helpful.

This Resort is a hidden Gem. Located on the banks of Hawkesbury River, Del Rio Resort is a great escape from hustle and bustle of the city.Sit next to the river side to feel the calmness of water.If you are not staying or camping you can visit their for a picnic with your family or friends by paying $10 per head above 3 years of age.Its has amenities like swimming pool, jumping pillow, quad bikes on hire, play area for kids, cafe, and a small shop just in case you have forgotten the sunscreen lotion.So save this location for your visit

Family friendly. Great people. Not that far out of Sydney but you feel like you are miles away cause of the atmosphere.

Fabulous country setting on the Hawkesbury River , for all demographics. So many activities for the kids, so the parents get a break & can hang out at the on-site cafe, sports club, in your cabin or by the river. We also went bike riding and played tennis, all on site. Came home refreshed. Looking forward to another visit in the near future. Enjoy! everyone.
