Attended at birthday were very squashed in with another birthday group in the same room no space between our chairs making it hard to enjoy you meal. Meals were very enjoyable great value and polite staff

This place has an excellent undercover bowling green.
There's also another outdoor green as well.
There's bars, dining areas, and gambling rooms.

The food and service were excellent. Staff were all very friendly and professional.

Visited this place on Friday, and it was packed. One of our mates had a booking, and we were seated downstairs where the live band is. W ordered food immediately as the crowd was getting bigger and bigger. The price was reasonable and tasty. I had the porterhouse steak with chips ( 150g and cooked perfectly medium rare) whilst my wife had the catch of the day - grilled barramundi with steam veggies. She loved it. Portion of each serving was generous for the price. Will be back to try other options.

Bistro staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful and looked after us well. Food was pub grub and was nice and fresh. Pokies are terrible, there is barely enough room to walk past with the machines and large chairs leaving little room to move between machines.

Members lounge for HOG AGM. Food service is incredibly slow with some people waiting near 2 hours for their meals. Meals are well below standard with serving sizes a tad on the small side. Probably a good idea to eat elsewhere prior to visiting.

We had a Surprise 70th birthday, with a small group (28) in the Napoleon Room. Dean / Maria & Frazer were fantastic. Food was delicious, Great night all round. So if your looking for a nice place to hold your event. I couldn't recommend D'nong Club highly enough. Definetely 5 Stars from our group.

Top notch bistro meals! Granted, we probably ordered the most popular items on the menu, and glad to say they did not disappoint.

Started off with an order of cheesy bread (that is, melted cheese on a lovely toasted roll cut in half), and that fills you up quite a bit to start with! In the photo there are only 2 bits of bread, but we had eaten the other 2 bits already before we took the photo.

If I was to try hard just to find something to nit-pick about, maybe I didn't get enough thick cut chips with my chicken parma? But have a look at the photo, and you be the judge.

The chicken caesar salad was also delicious, and we paired it with extra chicken tenders. Thanks Dandy Club - you served us well tonight. Great food, great service, will be back.

Bowls club downstairs is cool! Newly renovated and includes a bar. Bowls staff are awesome.

Function room downstairs would be great for birthdays, presentations and other events.

Upstairs restaurant is nice. Always a good meal. Cheap but good quality. Staff are lovely and quick to serve. Sometimes there's a wait for main meals when busy but we're always patient.

Foyer bar dining area is good for cheaper meals. Always good quality and comes from the same kitchen anyway!

We were so disappointed with our meals. Spaghetti marinara 3 mussels 3 prawns no calamari or fish smattering of tiny clams. $32 Members price. Chicken Parma seniors size at the best chips were not freshly cooked.$22. Specials board very poor. Hope the standard can improve under the newly appointed manager maria who was very pleasant.

Its our go to when we want a night out. Food fantastic but the service is a bit slow, mains came out in not too bad time but we were told 10 minutes for dessert and it was nearly 30 minutes

Oh Dandy Club, thy barramundi doth please

In truth, they did not even match that of Red Rooster's fry

Warm and friendly staff, meals cooked quickly, complimentary bread roll, tasty and fresh meals, comfortable seating. What's not to like? 🥰

The friendly staff, and the people are so friendly. Plus all the bands are fantastic, we have booked a permanent table. Try it and see for yourself

3 of us for Sunday lunch (18th Sept 2022), while my parents meals were nice, I opted for the 'roast of the day' Roast beef... the vegetables were yummy, fresh, crunchy and cooked just the way I like them, however the beef was tough and bland. Slightly disappointed with my lunch however overall not bad. I would also like to add that the service was also very good and meals were all reasonably priced.

We came for dinner on Sunday ordered 3 porterhouses sent one back wasnt cooked they way l asked. Complained about it so we got another one which l have to say all 3 were full of grizzle.
We have coming here for years and found it rather disappointing.

Great place to enjoy a steak lunch in the bar area on Monday's. Today (22/08/22) I was dished up the toughest steak I have ever had (at table 61). It even bent my fork when trying to cut it with the steak knife. 90% of the steak was uneatable and left on my plate. I will be giving the Dandenong Club a break for awhile. Surely the club should be considering changing their butcher! 1 Star for this meal is generous.

Big thank you to the Dandenong club for providing a private room for us to have an Orange Sky laundry service meeting and dinner tonight. The food and service were excellent and we greatly appreciate the special treatment we were given.

Always receive great Food and excellent Table service at this Club. Have been to Dandenong Club on numerous times and have always received very good food for the cost in a pleasant atmosphere where the waiters are pleasant and helpful and do not rush you for your orders. This place would have to be one of the best Club meals around the Eastern suburbs. Rod the Manager is always happy and smiling. Give this place a try!!!!

The Dandenong Club is a safe bet for an excellent meal. Table service from friendly staff, we are never disappointed when we dine here.

Always lovely to visit the D.C., the staff are always friendly and the food in the restaurant very reasonably priced and delicious. Pleasant atmosphere, great place to meet up with family and friends.

My local watering hole for sure! Plenty car parks and friendly staff! There is a super friendly blonde waitress offered help without me asking for it when she saw I was handful with full jug of Carlton and glass for my mate. Simply just nice people! Food tasted awesome with great price!
