A group of us went to the Cri 27th May, one member of our party went to the bar purchased a beer which they were drinking talking and enjoying their night when a member of the staff came up took their beer and told them they couldn't have that and they needed to leave because they were intoxicated which they weren't and gave them a refund. Apparently you can't enjoy yourself with a drink and friends and because you are intoxicated. It depends who you are because there were several groups that went in afterwards who had members of their group clearly intoxicated and weren't asked to leave. Not the first time I have heard this happen and certainly will not go there again.

The Crit is a typical country pub - not fancy on the outside, not fancy on the inside - but the food is great! I had the chicken schnitty tonight - good size, lovely crumb, perfectly cooked, the pepper sauce was creamy, the chips were crisp, and the salad was better than you get at some city pubs. And all for $12 as the Friday night special. They do take-away as well if you'd rather eat at home. I've never not enjoyed a meal from here.
