Great deals for overnight stay with high tea and full breakfast. This grand old building is so beautifully furnished and finished, it is truly a reminder of the Victorian gold rush opulence. It is all class, from the stunning antique furniture, to the various amazing rooms, the original bar and restored lift. Staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, accommodating and professional. High tea and restaurant food was amazing! Only disappointment was they weren't running history tours due to Covid. Can't wait to come back when these are running again.

Service was great, food choices were limited and uppity with small portion sizes. Great place to go to "be seen" as it is a beautiful old building. Christmas decorations were amazing. Staff could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable about the food.

Had an exceptional over night stay in one of the most gorgeous rooms I've ever stayed in. The staff were all amazing from the bubbly Melanie at check-in to the knowledgeable and charming Rob who entertained us during our wine tasting. The breakfast in the cafe was delicious served up with the she amazing service. I would love to stay again though I'd be sure to bring earplugs to help with the roosting pigeons that kept me awake most of the night in the roof directly above my bed

Impressive! Gold rush period architecture at it's best. Luscious furnishings throughout. Pity we missed the high tea but lunch was good in the atrium.
