If it wasn't for the food, nobody would go here. Run down pub and bar staff are rude, ignorant and have no idea what customer service is. But while the chef and kitchen team do such a great job and deliver great meals, it's still a decent place for a quick cheap feed.

Highly recommended for dinner, delicious food, almost always need a take home container as meal sizes are awesome for the price. Staff are friendly and not much wait time for hot food delivered to your table

We moved to Craignish about a year ago and are lucky to have CCCH right around the corner. We've never had a bad meal, quite the contrary, and are always happy with the service and atmosphere. They even do takeaway meals which has been handy at times. The golf course is excellent so to sum it up, a great place to relax, unwind and fuel up ?

Can't describe what we got put it on your must go list. The food was some of the best if I describe any more it will take away the surprise of what you get and the presentation just go and enjoy. If you go for dinner you are advised to book

Calarami was laughably bad, 6 pieces of store bought frozen calamari rings. 2 really skinny pieces of what is labelled "barra". Bit was definitely not barramundi. We suspect barracuda or another fish substitute. Overcooked crumbs and portion sizes of a child. Also no pizza anywhere on the menu. Only saving grace was the gluten free tuscan pasta it was delicious.
So stay away from the seafood, pasta is fine.

Extremely disappointed with the food and the rudeness of the manager. Blamed the burnt hamburger patties on us not asking to be seated on a busy night!!! Insane.... Have always seated myself and by the way... I actually asked kitchen staff if I can sit anywhere!! To be friendly costs nothing manager lady!

the new owners are Rude & disrespectful towards their patrons there was a lady in bar when i asked for a coke cause I don't drink alcohol and she reply with "only serve alcohol nothing else " in a rude tone than I walked away and did some research on this place the original owner was shot dead because how disrespectful and rude he was, I guess the new owners don't care who they being rude to lucky my boyfriend wasn't with me he would flipped his cool and did something worse. !!DO NOT COME HERE!!

We live on the Gold Coast and are here for a few days so we read some reviews before heading to the country club for dinner. We weren't too sure what to expect. However, we had a great experience with the staff from the moment we arrived. The bar staff were lovely, and when we went to sit in the restaurant area, the waitress called us over to the table by the heater and turned the heaters on for us, she said "you'll be nice and warm here" and we were! The restaurant staff were all super happy and friendly, and accomodating to our meal requests. The food was tasty and VERY generous portions. All the meals coming out of the kitchen were huge and looked delicious. The staff were happy for us to take our leftovers home. Compliments to the staff and the chef on a great all-round dining experience.

Do not bring your children here - it is not kid friendly in the slightest.

Waitress/barmaid stood over us the whole time. She physically grabbed the table number from my one year old because he was tapping it 'too loudly' (maybe I'm used to kid noise, but he was barely making a noise).

She visibly put the rude-finger up at our table when she noticed my son had dropped food over the high chair onto the floor (kid had made a mess that we were fully intending to clean up after my son was actually finished his meal - as we usually do).

She made me stop eating and pull out my chair so she could sweep under the high chair during our meal, and my wife was incredibly uncomfortable by this and refused to let our son eat any additional food just in case he made a mess while she was glaring at us.

We won't be coming back, and if you have kids I recommend going literally anywhere else.

Awesome meals a must to treat yourself.

Chef really excels in his talent of cooking & the vegetables are done the way you would pay big money in a five star ?? restaurant.

We had enjoyed this place for the last couple of months. The steaks were great but the rest of the meals we tried weren't good at all but that didn't worry us. We still would go up on a Friday or Saturday as we liked the place. However one afternoon, we stopped by for a quick beer after work and were in the smokers area and freezing our butts off so we turned the outdoor heater on. The abuse from one staff member for for turning it on was unbelievable even after we apologised!! Considering how much money we had spent there over the last couple of months, we found this ridiculously insulting. They should rethink the employment of the red headed lady as we will never be going back.

Meals were quite generous. Service was quite good. Only negative was the seating, no tables for 2-4 people so as a couple we took up a huge table, felt akward

Getting followed around by a grumpy staff lady, in their 4x4 buggy. For most of the time. Waiting for any excuse to say something. Like one ball we hit went well and truly in the bushes so we re tee'd and come straight over and saying why am I hitting another ball. 1 ball per person. Meanwhile it's 5ish and we are the last people with our own cart.
Then drives up and waits for us at the next hole. Definitely went out of her way to make us not feel welcomed
Don't waste your money here.. drive down the road to another club or put your money through the Howard golf club.

Single handedly the worst place for a round of golf. The "club house" itself stink of stale beer and smoke. The bar staff are beyond rude and seem like theyd rather be anywhere but there.

I had to wait 10 minutes to pay for a round while the bloke finished his conversation about the weekend. Pretended like I wasn't standing at the bar and then

The course itself is falling to bits. Greens are reminiscent of a school football field. The signage is terrible for directions and distances and the tees are not accurate. It's about as budget as you can get for golf course. I'm honestly not sure how this golf course exists or is surviving.

As for the owner himself, we met him on the 10th tee out of the blue yelling at us with some choice words he was abrupt, rude and went completely over the top claiming we were parked on the tee box instead of next to it. Which by the way we weren't his opinion over ours I guess. (The tee boxes are more of a patch of unkept grass with no outline and a million unfilled divots roughly near a sign displaying the tee number with a terrible diagram of the hole layout.)

So after refuting this claim, the owner just took the key from the cart and told us to "grab your gear and f**k off".

I followed him into the bar where a new bar tender just laughed with a smug look on her face. I asked for my money back which they gave back half after refuting it initially. If you do find yourself wanting a round of golf, save yourself the hassle and dissapointment and play anywhere else in the bay. These people do not deserve your patronage or to run a golf course this way and treat customers like garbage.

A great country golf course, looking forward to playing again. The fairways were in good condition and despite being a flat course it does have some challenging holes.

Just some of the locals we saw at the golf club. We only played 9 holes and the course was well spaced out. Hired a buggy for the holes.

Best pub on the Fraser Coast. The staff are friendly and fast. Prices are very cheap and great. Raffles are awesome. Golf is the best in Queensland.
