Steak and veges?good steak, good scoop of mash potatoes but 1/4 of a bean, 1gram of carrots ? a absolute insult , chef cannot afford a few veges at $26.00 a steak, great staff, pokies, street dining, clean but cook the cook.!

One of the 3 pubs in town, this is right in centre of town, opposite the local court. It has their taxi rank out front. Street dining is excellent, also nice dining area inside, plus a beer garden... only beer garden of the 3 pubs.. nothing flash.. but a walk thru to back lane way. This is a classic hotch potch layout, but its ok.
The menu, mid priced is good.. and the food is great... awesome pizza cooked in real pizza oven. Street front Cafe too...

Took the family out for dinner. The rump steak was good, barra good, pizza ok. My abc snitty was burnt on edges, dry in the middle, flavourless & almost inedible. Staff didn't seem to care. Very disappointing. We're local & we won't be back.

Very good food and super friendly staff. The waitresse serving us was amazing. The place was very busy but she went out of her way to make sure we get a table and didn't miss out on mothers day. The chef was very friendly too. Big portions and good food. Thank you.

Normal pub. Coffee bar good. Lots of sport on TV. Plenty of pokies. A bit run down, going for a rustic vibe I suppose.

Went for dinner on Saturday evening with friends. Arrived at 6:30 and ordered at 6:45. By 7:30 still waiting for half the meals which didn't arrive until 7:45. When they came steak was tough and chips were really brown and shriveled. So an hour to cook a steak and chips ! But, felt bad for the other two tables that were still waiting who told us, as we were leaving, that they had been waiting for and hour as well. Just be honest and tell patrons that a steak will take an hour before accepting payment.

Had an awesome meal with family. Burger and pizza were great. The owner/manager was very accommodating for a group our size and was happy to have a laugh.

Classic pub grub. We had Thai beef salad and a southern style chicken burger. Not gourmet fare but just what we wanted and what you would expect. The alcoholic ginger beer was refreshing. Good service from friendly staff and well-priced

Lunch at the Courthouse Hotel was a most pleasing experience.
This was because they don't profess, or pretend, to be a 5 Star establishment - like many other local hotels do - and then fail to deliver.
On the contrary, the food was simple and truly delicious. We both chose a 'Lunch Special': lambs fry and bacon for me, and rissoles and vegetables for my partner. We could not have been more pleased. The meats and gravy were truly flavoursome, the vegetables were beautifully cooked, and the meals were served hot!
Added to this, the staff are cheerful and obliging, the fare is well priced, and the beer was icy cold.
What more can one ask for? We will definitely be back!,

It's a nice typical little pub in a little town. Awesome food recommend the pizza. Service is great always quick to serve and answer any questions you have about drinks or food. Reasonable prices all round too.

Wow, the pizzas were magnificent. I defy you to finish one. They can easily feed two or three people. Great on-street dining. Highly recommend.

Atmosphere of this hotel was wonderful. Eating our meal outside with the buskers near by was just perfect. Staff were also very accommodating with our disabled friend and very thirsty pup. Thank you for a wonderful experience 😊

Nice service. The food was slow delivery to the table. I had the burger and it was cooked perfect.

Ther service there was friendly and easy. Meals are definitely worth the value. They are HUGE !! The onion fries are a starter was only $14 it was massive. Highly recommend and will definitely go back when we are back in the area.

Went for lunch after reading the reviews. I had the vegetarian lasagna with chips & salad. My friend had the seafood basket again with chips & salad. These meals were on the lunchtime specials for $15. Both meals were fabulous. The service was quick & courteous. The pub itself is quirky and very pleasant. The reviews were right!

Had a great Rump steak for lunch.The abc Snitzel was huge as well and all priced reasonably well.Also good COVID tracing with a table and QR Code reader at the front door.

I ordered a chicken ceaser salad it was the worst I have ordered in over 20 years. Such a shame as I went to lunch with my mother and thought we would give Murwillumbah a go instead of Kingscliff that was closer. Two ladies were working, the younger one was lovely and the older one was horribly rude.
