Though a bit dated, it's a typical country pub. Good food though which is reasonable value for money

We went for dinner and wanted a steak for dinner. We were told the "chef" would not destroy a lovely cut of meat by cooking it past medium rare. I prefer well done. I ordered pasta and was served overcooked slop. Dear cook you ain't even good enough to make a sandwich let alone to pose as someone with any skill in the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting and a disgrace to say our chef. Went to the pub down the road two nights later (tonight) their cook serves the most divine food. An appropriate review will be left there as well.

Had to wait for dinner but it was well worth it easily one of the best feeds I've had in mudgee out off all the pubs

Went here for lunch the best and biggest meals was all good i had a parmy the corty was delicious and all the food looked and tasted great there was about 10 of us that ate there i highly reccomend having lunch or dinner here friendly and courtesy was wondeful, i will be back next mudgee visit.

Went there last night for dinner. Lady behind the bar was very rude when ordering drinks so much so her coworker was even rolling her eyes.

Menu is standard pub food. Steak menu states they can be ordered- blue, rare, medium rare or medium and nothing else. Ordered medium rare and got well done. Do not recommend.

My wife and I had dinner there last night and the food was excellent. We had the Courthouse and traditional parmi, which were cooked perfectly, with fresh salad and awesome chipw. Highly recommend this pub!

Had to stay there 2 nights, not worth the money. Every single toilet upstairs is glogged and no one seems to bother.. Also the bathrooms are pretty run down.

The service was not good and staff didn't seem to care about anything. Meals were very ordinary with some of our group not getting what they had ordered.

Little old hotel with old fashioned rooms, shared bathrooms and fireplaces that keep the building warm. Stayed with a group so it was perfect for us. Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and the restaurant food was great.
Supermarkets in walking distance which was handy for replenishment of the kitchen and bathroom.

Pet friendly. Good beer. Good wine for the wife. Food good.

Today my hoomans took me to this pub. Staff were so lovely. They welcomed me and patted me and made sure I had water. Hoomans had parmigianas. Absolutely delicious, I sampled both. I give this pub all the tail wags.

Great country pub ,, Staff friendly and polite ,,great variety of beers on tap,,good sensational. Highly recommended a visit while your in Mudgee.

Nice quite country pub. There 2 days ago at about 5pm and the lady behind the bar was great helpful and happy.

Staff member Amanda was so welcoming and helpful. Food was lovely.

Arrived after 1.15 for a light biteafter some voluntary work. No sandwiches so chose a couple of things from Starters. Absolutely wonderful garlic bread with sweet chilli and cheese plus spring rolls. We sat outside front and were entertained by passing trucks though lots of tables out the back. Service good too.
