A friend and I went there for dinner last night.

Service and food was outstanding.

We had the mushroom arrancini balls, salmon and veggies and the prawn linguini - all cooked to perfection.

Wine and cocktail list was fantastic - the Shiraz was amazing.

I'll be back in October - please practice the dirty Bloody Mary ?

Slow service, need more staff or the ones threshold check the different counters. Food good and lunch prices excellent.

Stayed here whilst working in the area for a week. The rooms were affordable, pretty much exactly what you'd expect for the cost. Comfortable with some creature comforts such as TV and mini fridge. Only downside is the springs in the bed were completely shot, but wasn't entirely uncomfortable.
Service was fantastic and the people friendly, welcoming and happy to help out, especially when the week's work got cut short and I needed to cancel my last night.
Food was also great with a pretty good menu.

It's great to see people out having a laugh together.
Tamworth was dead compared to Gunnedah, which is crazy to me.

The garlic bread and Halloumi burger was top shelf material.

Had dinner here with a group of 29. We were allocated our own separate room which was quite nice although it was echoey, noisy and hard to have any decent conversation. The food came to the tables fairly well for such a big group. Most of our group enjoyed the food. Personally, I had the lamb cutlets which were average.

Beef ribs are tender, fall off the bone, served with coleslaw and onion rings. Chilli prawns with linguini pasta is a surprise. It is rich and tasty. Shaved parmesan adds great flavour to this dish.

Garlic bread has fine texture, little chewy and soft.

Service is reasonable fast considering quite a few customers.

came recommended by others while travelling so we tried it the second night place wasn't overly packed the food line was in the main walk way so very annoying people were getting served before me it took 20 min waiting then we waited over an hr for our meals which weren't that cheap either to have to ask where our meal was then 5 min later we were delivered meals that were that cold we thought they had actually been straight out of fridge we all complained to have a large bowl of vegetable delivered in 2 min steaming hot but still had cold meals chicken and steaks were not eaten or replaced or heated up we even suggested microwave at this stage no refund so we left we arrived at 6 .30 pm left at 8.45 terrible food and service we felt sorry for the servers copping all the flack from the customers

Best ribs ever! No silly Willie's here. Great service, numerous fresh beers on tap, yummy high quality pub food. Plenty of smiles around. Welcoming staff! A well deserved 5 stars experience.

Sorry but we are spoilt with South Australian pub meals. This meal was not nice. Fish over cooked, onion rings and chips undercooked so they actually went soggy under the
Schnitzel. Won't be back

Pretty sad I ordered online and rang afterwards to check it was gluten and dairy free because there's no options for that online and I asked for salad and veg and got back to my motel room and was greated with chips.... Full of all that gluten I asked not to have, veggies are soggy as well, every time I come to gunny I always love a feed from here and I've never been more disappointed

Excellent menu! What a great pub - nice clean renovation & really yummy food. The Tobys estate coffee is great too. The staff are very friendly & efficient. We will be back.

Great old country style pub...with great selection of meals on offer.

..Allergy friendly food.. Staff knew which menu items were allergy friendly and gave plenty of options on each item. Food was delicious and staff super helpful. We asked for a plastic cup of water for our 16month and the guy at the bar git creative and gave us a takeaway coffee cup, so the water had a lid and straw. Perfect for our little one. We'll be back for sure. Keep up the great work chefs and staff.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. Hubby is picky with his food but his meal was on point tonight. Have been coming here for 18 months as our 'watering hole' and have never been disappointed.

Service was fine, and a good range of beers on tap. The scotch fillet was poor, and was very fatty and overcooked for "medium rare". Veg were bland, but okay. Mash and pepper sauce were delicious.

We received warm and welcoming service from the moment we arrived. The room was clean with all the amenities you could need and the beds were comfortable. We had an amazing dinner - creamy pumpkin pasta and a quinoa pumpkin salad - which we could barely finish between two. The COVID officer, whose name we didnt catch, was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the girls behind the bar were lovely and provided helpful suggestions. We definitely hope to come back!
