Ordered a stir fry. Very average meal. Fried meat and veggies piled in an oversized dish with ketchup manis squirted around the outer edge of food as decoration.
Edible, not enjoyable.
Had to question the staff if there was a dessert menu available,
Also asked the staff for chopsticks, as I had ordered an "alleged" Asian dish. Chopsticks unavailable.
Had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to order & receive drinks.

Would not recommend.

We're from the other side of the city and whenever we are travelling in the area, our destination for a great meal would have to be the Courthouse Hotel in Bacchus Marsh. If you haven't tried their Pork Belly, it's the best we've had, no other restaurant can compare. It's our go to menu item every time. Food and service are top notch, it can get a bit noisy and rowdy as the venue isn't huge.. but give it a try anyways..

The food portions were huge and the food was to die for.
You know the foods good when the kids schnitzel comes out and you think 'there is no way this 3 yr old will eat much of that' and said 3 yr old demolishes it.

I had a really good experience in this hotel today! This was my first visit. It's a really clean nice background. And also staff was very friendly. Treat to everyone in very friendly manner. Kids love them as they have provided special art activity kits to all kids. Also foods were very delicious. Never forget the taste of foods. We had risotto, chicken pama, chicken nuggets , calamari fish, seafood paella. Also its money worths, It was fantastic experience that we ever had. Great food with the steak and risotto, and the chicken Kiev, being stand outs. It's a bit noisy, so conversations are difficult. Nicely set out. The bar staff were super nice and friendly but the food staff not so much. Will go back.

Nice and clean with a great atmosphere. We ate in the bar and had a parma which was amazing, please don't change what you do there's far too many who can't get this meal right and this was spot on

Such a fabulous place to eat and drink at Bacchus marsh. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh, I should also add how tasty it is. The portion size is very generous and worth the money. They also have weekday special lunch menus.

Must visit, won't be disappointed.

Ps. My only complaint is dirty/sticky tables in the outside seating area, but it's still a 5 ⭐️ experience for me

Absolutely lovely experience.

Chicken dish was a 5 star . Super tasty, tender and would order again.

Veal was a 3 star . Very dry and crumb not the best. But still was edible and ok.

The place was pretty busy so we had a long wait for the food to come out but that's understandable. We were served by a very nice gentleman, great with the kids. Clean area and plenty of parking. We will definitely be back.
Edit: We came back again, tried something new and definitely not disappointed! It will be one of our favourite restaurants.

Excellent meals. The calamari was very tender and the cheese bacon & garlic bread was fantastic.
Would have been 5 stars if the waitress would have cleared the table in one of her 3 pass by before being asked to take the finished plates.

We had a birthday lunch for our daughter. Good food, and reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Anzac day AFL match was on in the bar and we watched some of it after our lunch.

Megan was lovely.
Only faults were warm beer and cider.
1st girl that served the food was not very customer friendly.
Pepper gravy was not served with meal and we asked her that it had been forgotten, she replied that it was not paid for and needed to be paid for. Which was not a problem at all, I just feel she could of worded her reply better.

The bistro was extremely busy when we visited on a Thursday night - fortunately we had booked, but our meals took the best part of an hour to arrive. The menu is pretty standard pub fare and the most popular meal coming out of the kitchens was the chicken schnitzel. When our meals did arrive they hot and fresh, served with the obligatory side salad and chips. Good sized portions, quite tasty- a pleasant night out.

Friendly prompt service. The food is good, the prices are reasonable compared to some other places. Good variety on the Seniors menu, 2 courses, soup or dessert and a choice of mains all for $16. I had a delicious pumpkin soup followed by calamari, vegetables and chips plus dipping sauce, all very good. There is a T.A.B. on the premises. Well worth a visit.

Good Aussie pub food in the bistro. Can be slow to get things out if it's busy but the food is always fresh, well prepared and very tasty.

The ribs was nice and tasty however they had more bone than meat on the ribs. For the price its better to get something else for the value of money. They was following covid 19 procedures tho

Went there for the first time as our daughter shouted us lunch and I was very impressed. The staff were so friendly and the meals were great at reasonable prices..parking close by. Very family friendly.

I never learn. Rst Pork is never as good as when cooked at home. Most of our group were happy.

I had my engagement booked at this venue in there rooftop area. I had booked 3 months in advance and was advised not to pay a deposit. One week prior to our date I was told they had double booked me. We had been in touch many of times during Feb, March even April (1 day before getting told we were double booked) selecting our food, drinks and going over the number of guest we had. The excuse the manager had was that the 2 names on the list "sounded the same". We were offered the bistro or told to walk. We have now had to reschedule everything and find a new venue, organise food and reschedule our plans within a week to cater for our event. They handled the matter very poorly and I will never reccomend them to anyone. if you are thinking of having an event at the courthouse I would reconsider.

Fantastic experience. We booked in advance for 4 and were glad we did for a Monday night. Heaps of parking very close, which was great! The food was terrific. Very tasty and a large variety for lunch and dinner which is what we had. Atmosphere was good and conducive to conversation. For those concerned you felt like you were sitting close to others but under non- Covid times you wouldnt even notice it.
